<p>I graduated from Duke University with a degree in history in 1994, After working in the financial services industry for 5 years, I went to Temple University School of Medicine and graduated in 2003. I completed my internal medicine residency at Boston Medical Center in 2006 and my fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology from the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2010, where I also received a masters in public health. Since 2010, I have been at the same gastroenterology practice, Middlesex Monmouth Gastroenterology which in 2017, became part of Allied Digestive Health &#8211; an integrated network of over 200 providers dedicated to providing digestive health care. In 2019, I became one of the principal investigators for our research organization and have worked on several protocols related to inflammatory bowel disease. In 2024, I served as the co-medical director of our inaugural educational conference. I am married to my wife Lori of over 20 years and have 3 children, Christopher, Connor and Avery.</p>
