Dr. Folake Taylor is an internal medicine physician and a fellow of the American College of Physicians ACP. She was a beloved neighborhood primary care physician in the Atlanta metro area for 15 years and was named “Top Internist” in 2021.
She cannot remember a time even in childhood when she did not have physical problems, or an inability to do things other kids and teenagers could do.
After decades of very slowly declining physical abilities, she was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis PPMS in 2016 and subsequently quit practicing medicine due to physical and cognitive disability, as complications of MS.
Her determination to beat MS led her to discover how to recover from disability, using nutrition and holistic adjunctive practices.
She no longer uses a transport chair, scooter, walker, or cane for mobility and her cognition continues to improve.
It is her mission to teach other women with MS how to improve their quality of life and functionality because she loves to see fellow MS warriors win.
She is the creator of an online course, MS Mastery ™.
Dr. Taylor lives with her husband and daughter in a suburb of Atlanta, GA.
