Kyle specializes in an osteopathic manual medicine approach called Counterstrain and earned his Strain and Counterstrain Certification from The Jones Institute in 2017. In 2012, he took his first Counterstrain course and quickly realized the power of the technique through the successful treatment of his patients symptoms and the alleviation of pain they experienced. Kyle believes in the power of manual therapy and approaches his patients pain by understanding the relevant anatomy, its blood supply, its drainage, and its innervation from the nervous system. The Counterstrain approach allows him to diagnose and treat the major systems of your body that are causing pain and additional symptoms. Kyle has been in private practice since 2014. In 2016, he founded Manual Motion Physical Therapy and Pilates Rehab, and in 2018, he started Counterstrain San Diego, where he continues to practice and hone his skills in the clinical application of Counterstrain with his patients.
