Sarah Quillen, MPA, CFRE joined the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS) and its sister organization, The International Lyme and Associated Disease Education Foundation (ILADEF) in February 2023 as its executive director.
In this role, she focuses on strengthening the organization’s impact and achieving its mission and vision. I look forward to meeting our members and building strategic partnerships and continuing to build on this incredible legacy that has already contributed much to enhance our community.
A native of New York, Sarah received her Master&#8217;s in Public Affairs from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). Sarah has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of fundraising, public relations and program development in several leadership roles. Notable work includes the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Good Shepherd Hospice (both in Florida), and Capital Caring and the National Hospice and Palliative Care organization (NHPCO) and its affiliates in the Washington, DC region.
Her career has been spent working with the interdisciplinary healthcare community in fundraising and community relations roles with experience at several foundations and, more recently, 10 years with an association, advocacy organization, and foundation.
