<p>Tara Coyote was recommended to Hospice in the spring of 2019 with widespread cancer through-out her body. Through digging into immense self-care, complimentary medicine, the healing power of horses, the powerful energy of living in Kaua’i, Hawaii and fierce determination, she made a remarkable recovery and was declared ‘NED’ – No Evidence of Disease in 2022! She is the best-selling author of the book ‘Grace, Grit &amp; Gratitude: A Cancer Thriver’s Journey from Hospice to Full Recovery with the Healing Power of Horses’ and the children’s book ‘Comanche the Wild Mustang’. Tara is trained as an Equine Facilitated Learning instructor to work with humans with horses in a therapeutic manner at her ranch on Kaua’i called Wind Horse Sanctuary and actively shares her health journey through her blog page, YouTube and multiple social media channels. Tara believes it is always possible to find beauty within the greatest tragedy and that every challenge is present to serve us for our highest growth. She is currently thriving on her island home of Kaua’i, Hawaii with her animals. When not swimming in a mermaid tail in the gorgeous ocean surrounding the Garden Island, playing her fiddle or writing, you can find her happily scooping horse manure!</p>
