CND Life Sciences was founded in 2017 as Cutaneous NeuroDiagnostics, LLC, by physicians Todd Levine, MD, Christopher Gibbons, MD, and Roy Freeman, MD. The company develops diagnostic technologies intended to provide clinicians with objective insights into neurodegenerative disease processes.

Its flagship Syn-One Test® uses three small skin biopsies collected by a healthcare professional. The laboratory analyzes the tissue for phosphorylated alpha-synuclein and other indicators of peripheral nerve pathology. These findings can support clinicians evaluating patients with suspected synucleinopathies, including Parkinson’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, multiple system atrophy, and pure autonomic failure.

CND operates a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited, and CLEP-permitted laboratory in Scottsdale, Arizona. In addition to clinical diagnostic testing, the company collaborates with biopharmaceutical organizations on research and clinical trials, including work involving biomarkers and investigational therapies. Its mission is to improve access to objective diagnostic information and advance patient care through scientific innovation.
