What happens when Lyme disease and mold exposure overlap?

Understand how Lyme disease, tick-borne coinfections, and mold exposure can produce overlapping symptoms, including fatigue, cognitive difficulties, joint pain, and neurological complaints, making it important to investigate multiple possible contributors to chronic illness. Discover why Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections can be difficult to diagnose, especially when a tick bite goes unnoticed, a characteristic rash is absent, or antibody testing is performed too early. Learn why medical history, symptom patterns, appropriate testing, and clinical evaluation all matter. Learn why addressing immune health and environmental exposures may be important when Lyme disease and mold-related concerns coexist. Explore Dr. Hinchey's approach to supporting immune function and considering both conditions together rather than focusing exclusively on an infection.

The Better Question: “Can a Toxic Body Age Well?”

Longevity Starts With the Foundation, Not Just More Supplements. Dr. Erika Schultz explains why she believes restoring the function of organs, glands, and tissues should come before adding more supplements, devices, or wellness protocols. She compares the body to a garden: even the best seeds may struggle if the soil isn't healthy. Kidney Health, Brain Function, and Energy Balance Matter. Drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine and emerging research on Klotho, Dr. Schultz explores the relationship between kidney health and aging. She also discusses brain health, cognitive decline, and practices such as Qigong and Tai Chi that emphasize cultivating and conserving energy. Healthy Aging Involves More Than Diet and Exercise. From the liver, spleen, and fat tissue to the joints and thymus gland, Dr. Schultz discusses how these systems fit into her approach to foundational restoration, metabolic health, mobility, and immune resilience.

A Doctor’s Extraordinary Answer to What Happens After This Life

Purpose can extend beyond material success. Dr. Warter says he would interview Elon Musk to explore his spiritual side rather than his financial achievements. His answer reflects his interest in how influence and success might be directed toward making a positive contribution to humanity. Humanity's purpose should be creation rather than destruction. Dr. Warter would eliminate the war industry because he believes the production and use of weapons perpetuate destruction. He expresses a desire for humanity to move toward a purpose that supports life rather than destroys it. Personal experiences can shape a lifelong sense of purpose. Dr. Warter recalls imagining that he could leave his body to heal a disabled shoemaker when he was a young boy. He connects this childhood experience to his decision to study medicine and discusses how his spiritual experiences continue to influence his outlook on life and what comes next.

High-Intensity PEMF: Why Dosing Is Personal

Joe teaches clinics to work from principles and let each patient decide how strong and how long a session runs. A stiff lower back might get ten minutes, while a fresh injury might get hours at a very low setting. Most patients who have tried PEMF have only lain on a mat they couldn't feel. Joe suggests starting every new patient with five to ten minutes on whatever is bothering them that day, so they feel the difference before you talk about packages. Joe sees high-intensity PEMF as a way to prep the body for treatments you already offer, from sauna to IV therapy. His view is that better cell signaling may help patients get more out of each one.

Does Mouthwash Raise Blood Pressure?

Your tests come back normal, you're still exhausted, and no one can tell you why. What if one piece of the puzzle is something researchers are only starting to understand: the bacteria living on your tongue? In this episode, Dr. Jaban Moore talks with Dr. Nathan Bryan, Ph.D., a researcher who has spent his career studying nitric oxide, a gas your body makes that tells blood vessels to relax and open up. Its discovery as a signaling molecule won the 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Research suggests the bacteria in your mouth help your body make it, and that some antiseptic mouthwashes can interfere. This conversation is for anyone, no science degree needed, including people living with long-term fatigue and other chronic symptoms. In this episode, you'll learn: → What nitric oxide is, in plain English → How bacteria on your tongue help your body make it → What studies found when healthy people used antiseptic mouthwash for a week → Why researchers are studying blood vessel function in long-term fatigue conditions like long COVID and ME/CFS → What we know, what we don't know yet, and what to be skeptical of → Questions to bring to your dentist or doctor This is a conversation about early research. It is not a diagnosis or a cure. This episode is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Talk with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your medications or a prescribed mouth rinse.

When Your Body’s Coping Becomes the Illness

Most people clear infections like Lyme, Bartonella, or EBV. Dr. Gordon says that when someone stays sick for years, the cause is usually how the immune system adapted to the threat, and that adaptation needs its own treatment. During an infection, the body reduces absorption of trace minerals so microbes have less to feed on. Chronic gut inflammation can keep that shutdown going, so supplements often do little until you treat the inflammation. Dr. Gordon says no treatment can outwork ongoing mold exposure. To check, spend time somewhere else, like the beach or the desert, and see if your symptoms change, since mold tests alone can mislead.
