In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Truong is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. She has served as the President of the Virginia Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society for ten years and was awarded the 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Regional Chamber of Commerce. She was also the 2021 President of the Entrepreneurs&#8217; Organization in Richmond, Virginia, an organization of over 14,000 entrepreneurs from 66 countries.
Dr. Truong received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Berkeley and her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine training at the University of California at Irvine and her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She currently resides in Fredericksburg with her husband and two children.
