Cathy and Don won many titles such as “World Professional Artistic Champions” and later when they traded in their skates for dance shoes they became “Disco Dance Champions of the United States.”

While on tour with the Ice Follies, Cathy began studying Energy Medicine, Body Electric, Kirlian photography, Rife machines. Cathy took many courses in the field of consciousness such as Silva Mind Control. In 1980 Cathy learned Transcendental Meditation and moved to Fairfield Iowa to further study consciousness at MIU. There, she studied Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Science of Creative Intelligence and took advanced courses in the TM Sidhi program where she earned a certificate as an “expert in the field of consciousness.”

Cathy nearly died in 1989 and was in critical condition in the IC unit at UNLV. The doctors told her that if she lived, she may never walk again and surely would never ice skate again.

Cathy began reading “Ayurveda, The Science of Life” by Vasant Ladd. In this book she found an herb, coriander, that helped her deal with the excruciating painful symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis.
