Jeffrey Becker, MD oversees development of ketamine and psychedelic formulation and delivery solutions for next generation medical treatments as the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Bexson Biomedical. He has over 20-years of research and clinical experience in NMDA-receptor pharmacology and clinical use, and was one of the first MDs in the U.S. administering and documenting ketamine for depression in the clinic. His long experience with patients has produced a teaching that offers grounding paradigms and therapeutic skills to mental health ketamine practitioners involved in ketamine assisted psychotherapy. He teaches throughout the world and he has been a leader in developing protocols and methodology in both functional psychiatry and consciousness medicine. He is a world recognized speaker on the neurobiology of ketamine and psychedelic transcendence.
Dr. Becker trained at UCLA/NPI in both Medicine and Psychiatry, with a focus on Neuropsychiatry and Functional Medicine, and was board-certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as Integrative and Holistic Medicine. In clinical practice, Dr. Becker is known for his focus on whole health integration, combining conventional medicine with research-supported nutrients and complimentary treatment modalities. He maintains a small clinical practice focused in functional psychiatry, consciousness medicine and novel treatment approaches to challenging mental health conditions.
