Laura Penn Gallerstein, Sound Healer, Author, Leader in higher consciousness through Sound. She is an eclectic teacher of body, mind, and spirit practices. She was inspired by her “inner voice” to write her first book, Whispers in Sound. She is also the creator of Whispering Wings, an audio of guided meditations and sound. Laura founded “Sedona Sacred Sounds” and “Whispers in Sound, Durango” studios that offer Sacred Sound Healings with alchemy crystal bowls and guided healing meditations online and in person. Previously she was a co-owner and co-founder of Singing Bowls Temple, and also previously founded Moving Spirit Retreats.
For over forty years, Laura trained with master teachers and leading practitioners from around the world in modalities such as Sound Healing, Reiki, Reconnection Healing, Intuition, Raja Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Pilates. She created and developed the first Pilates program at the world-renowned Golden Door, and Rancho La Puerta Health Spas. Initially trained as a professional modern dancer, earned a karate black belt, she has taught Raja Yoga for over twenty years and currently leads Kundalini Yoga classes online and in person. After decades of training and integrating deep wisdom from spiritual teachers and masters with her own experiences, she offers spiritual guidance through her courses and workshops. Laura has led Sound Healing sessions in hospice, elementary schools, and many yoga studios around the country.
She has a passion for inspiring others by lifting them onto a path of higher consciousness through sound from the alchemy crystal bowls, chanting, guided meditation, and visualization. She currently leads workshops, courses, and retreats consisting of these amazing sounds to bring harmony and peace onto the planet. In addition to her private workshops, her newsletter “Whsipers in Sound &#8211; Lullabies’s for the New Day”, is filled with current news related to humanity’s current and ongoing transition into the Aquarian Age. Her ultimate vision is to incorporate sound healing into hospice, hospitals, cancer centers, and wellness centers around the world, and to especially assist those who have experienced loss.
Laura lives in Durango, Colorado with her beloved husband, Gary and dog “Hop.” She is also a distributor of high-quality alchemy crystal bowls.
