<p>Sarah Ingersoll, MS, MBA, RN, is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Southern California (USC). After completing an MBA as part of a Commonwealth Fellowship, she spent many years in corporate positions, including 13 years as a program manager for Lockheed Martin IT. During this time, she took an active role in the American Medical Informatics Association and served 2 terms as Treasurer. She is well versed in health information technology and has received grant support to study the use of physical activity trackers. Since 2004 she has been on the faculty of the Department of Neurology at USC where she is also on the Steering Committee for the USC Institute for Integrative Health. Most importantly, she is the manager of the “5K Training Team,” a seasonal exercise program, now in its 13th year, generously supported by the Parkinson’s Foundation.</p>
