Dr. Yin Hsu got his first dental degree from National Taiwan University and then immigrated to US, soon adopted Boston as his second home. Dr. Hsu also studied public health at Harvard Chan School of Public Health and continued his dental studies at Tufts Dental School and University of Florida Dental School. Dr. Hsu enjoys learning new technological advancement in dentistry, and he believes in the life long learning and updating in order to provide the most effective treatment for his patients. Dr. Hsu acquires around 200 continuing education credit hours per year.
He has done fellowship and mastership in Academy of General Dentistry and been awarded the Life Long Learning and Service award two times. Dr. Hsu also holds teaching position at Tufts University School of Dentistry and visiting position at University Florida Comprehensive Dentistry Program at Gainesville. Dr. Hsu believes in comprehensive care of his patients because preventing dental diseases is a crucial part of the wholesome health. Besides restoring what is compromised in the mouth and oral system efficiently, more systemic or general health oriented treatment regimen or strategy is the best way to maintain a healthy mouth. The health mouth usually comes with a health body and mind. The healthy smiles are usually beautiful.
Dr. Hsu also emphasizes conservative approach and aiming at long term stability of the oral system. A lot of more serious health problems can be seen and detected in the mouth with some subtle symptoms. With the astounding rapid advancement of the dental technology, many treatments are outdated sooner than we think. If we can maintain our oral system healthy and the treatment methodology is always better in the days to come. Dr. Hsu enjoys reading books related to health issues. Dr. Hsu also enjoys mentoring young generations of dental professionals. Dr. Hsu likes piano music and travel.
