Gemma Kochis Vice President / FCo-Founder Keto-Mojo Vice-President / Co-Founder Ketogenic Foundation In 2015, the ketogenic lifestyle profoundly changed Gemma’s life. A breast cancer survivor with autoimmune issues, she was a product of the dietary guidelines, a carbaholic who had battled weight her whole life. Shocked at the price of testing ketones, Gemma and her husband Dorian, founded Keto-Mojo in 2017 to give back, bringing down the price of ketone testing by 80%. Although Gemma graduated from UC Berkeley and was headed to a career in diplomacy, she always had a passion for wine, which eventually led her to a career in the wine industry. Prior to her role of Vice-President of Keto-Mojo, Gemma was the Director of Hospitality at Francis Ford Coppola’s Inglenook winery in Napa. Gemma is a Certified Sommelier, and was awarded the Walter Clore Scholarship, an honor given to the candidate with the highest exam score. Gemma is now dedicated to bringing the ketogenic way of life, including the much-needed science and research, to the forefront of the health and wellness sphere. To do just that, she and Dorian founded the Ketogenic Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity. She is now devoted to promoting the ketogenic lifestyle to enable everyone to learn to live a healthy and full life!
