Josh Kalinowski is the founder of Chilly Dip, a Wyoming-built line of insulated cold plunge tubs and ice spas. He started building the company about three and a half years ago, after his first cold plunge disappointed him. It wasn’t insulated, it was hard to keep clean, and his 72-year-old father, who has had both knees replaced, couldn’t get into it. Chilly Dip’s tubs are designed to be mobile, lockable, insulated, and easy to step in and out of, with a focus on contrast therapy that pairs cold with heat.
