Type 2 Diabetes

Infographics Statistics – 37 million people in the US have diabetes. 96 million adults in the US have prediabetes. In adults with diagnosed diabetes, 69% had high blood pressure. 445 had high cholesterol. 39% had chronic kidney problems. 12% had vision impairment or blindness. Adults with Type 2 diabetes have 2x higher medical costs than people without diabetes. Diabetes is the 8th leading cause of deaths in the US. Diabetes cost the US nearly $3330 billion.
