Heather Sandison
Founder, Solcere Health Clinic and Marama
Dr. Sandison is the founder of Solcere Health Clinic and Marama, where she turns the latest research into real help for people. Her mission is clear: help everyone, especially those struggling with their memory, to find balance and health again. With her guiding the way, the difficult steps to better brain health become simpler.
At Marama, Dr. Sandison offers a transformative living experience to enhance brain health and healing. Adopting a brain-friendly diet, engaging in physical activity, fostering community ties, and basking in a nurturing environment is seamless and natural.
Dr. Sandison’s journey in Alzheimer’s and dementia care deeply motivates her. She’s seen incredible changes in her patients’ lives through her unique treatment approach. Known as a top expert in this field, her focus on lifestyle, nutritional support, and specific medications has brought real hope and visible betterment in the lives of those she treats.
In 2023, Dr. Sandison published a groundbreaking study titled “Improved Cognition in People with Cognitive Decline: A Multimodal Intervention Approach” in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. This study noted significant improvements in cognitive function among individuals with cognitive decline after a comprehensive intervention based on potential contributors, such as lifestyle changes, nutraceutical support, and medications. She is also the host of the Reverse Alzheimer’s Summit for four years running, and the author of the upcoming book, “Reversing Alzheimer’s,” set for release in Summer 2024. The book offers more insights into her successful treatment methodologies.

Dale Bredesen
Senior Director of Precision Brain Health
Dale Bredesen, MD is an internationally recognized expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. His career has been guided by a simple idea: Alzheimer’s as we know it is not just preventable, but reversible. He is at the vanguard of neurological research and responsible for the discoveries that underlie the ReCODE Protocol™.
Dr. Bredesen graduated from Caltech and received his MD from Duke. He served as Resident and Chief Resident in Neurology at UCSF, then was a postdoctoral fellow with Nobel laureate Prof. Stanley Prusiner. He was the Founding President of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.
The Bredesen Laboratory studied basic mechanisms underlying the neurodegenerative process and the translation into effective therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease, leading to the publication of over 220 research papers. He established the Alzheimer’s Drug Development Network with Dr. Varghese John, leading to the identification of new classes of therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease. His work led to the discovery of subtypes of Alzheimer’s disease, followed by the first description of the reversal of symptoms in patients with MCI and Alzheimer’s disease, with a precision medicine protocol and a recent successful proof-of-concept trial. Dr. Bredesen is the author of two New York Times best sellers. He is currently a professor at UCLA.
The Bredesen Protocol® is based on over three decades of Dr. Bredesen’s laboratory research, resulting in hundreds of peer-reviewed publications that have uncovered the biochemical mechanisms behind the erosion of memory associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
