Nausea

Nausea is an unpleasant sensation of unease and discomfort in the stomach, often accompanied by an inclination to vomit. It can result from various causes, including motion sickness, viral infections, food poisoning, pregnancy, medication side effects, anxiety, and digestive disorders. The brain's chemoreceptor trigger zone and the gastrointestinal tract are involved in the sensation of nausea. Managing nausea often involves identifying and treating the underlying cause. Over-the-counter and prescription medications, such as antiemetics, can be used to alleviate nausea in certain situations. Additionally, home remedies like sipping on clear fluids, eating small, bland meals, and resting in a comfortable position may help ease the discomfort of nausea.
