Physical Therapy

Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is a branch of healthcare that utilizes exercises, manual techniques, and other physical modalities to restore, maintain, and improve physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. Physical therapists are trained healthcare professionals who assess and treat individuals with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, and chronic pain. They design personalized treatment plans to address specific impairments, optimize movement and function, reduce pain, and promote recovery. Physical therapy techniques may include therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual therapy, heat and cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and patient education. Physical therapy plays a crucial role in rehabilitation after surgeries or injuries, managing chronic conditions, improving strength and flexibility, and enhancing overall quality of life.
