Introduction to Paul Hutchinson 0:00
This little girl, she was 14. She was taken when she 7. Her parents were killed in the earthquake in Haiti. Nobody knew she alive. The traffickers took her and she sold for sex 20-30 times a day for 7 years. They selling them to tourists or they selling to anybody? Yeah, anybody. And this little girls, She didn't say one word for two weeks after we rescued her. Meet Paul Hutchinson, executive producer of The Sound of Freedom, author, speaker, and founder of the Child Liberation Foundation. Dedicated to ending child trafficking and creating lasting change.
I thought traffickers would be big, you know, guys on the street, bunch of earrings in their noses and chains coming down to their nipple and a bunch tattoos on their neck. How were they? What did they look like? The first traffic I met was if I've seen the darkest of humanity, things that I can't even talk about on video or else people would all shut down because it's so dark. You have to understand there's more today in slavery than all 300 years of the transatlantic slave trade put together. And people don't understand that.
How important is, besides just donating money, donating your time? I believe it is everything. If I was working... Which was the most dangerous and the craziest country you've been to? Welcome to another episode of a healthy point of view podcast. I'm your host Sam Tahata. And as you guys know, we're bringing experts from all over the world to talk about health, wellness, beauty, and mindset. Today we have a guest. You guys probably have heard of this guy, man. He is doing some serious work for humanity.
This is a bit different. We haven't done a podcast on this topic today. Um, we talk about mindset, but what he's done is switch people's minds for the good, especially people that are dealing with severe trauma, people who are thinking about doing some very bad things where he has the ability to help them live that better life. This is an individual that has done over 70 undercover missions to save children from sex trafficking. You've probably seen the movie that he was the primary investor and executive producer for, called Sound of Freedom.
He's got his new book coming out, Called Sound Of Freedom, for parents to know exactly what they have to do to avoid their children going through some of the crazy stuff that they has seen. Today we have Paul Hutchinson, man. Pleasure. Thank you for coming here on the podcast, brother. You know, we live in such a toxic world and people always hear me talking about the toxic word of the food and things that are in the environment. But there's a lot more when it comes to like the Toxic World, right?
Absolutely. Yeah. Sadly, it's something that's all around us. You We are, I was telling you earlier, been friends with RFK for about 10 years and, you know, he's, committed to come in and help fix a lot of the problems in Big Pharma and the big, the problem's on our grocery stores. He's also committed to help open up some opportunities for mental healing and wellness as well, which we can talk about later today. But yeah, I've seen the darkest of humanity, things that I can't even talk on video or else people would all shut down because it's so dark.
Needless to say, I've seen the worst that humanity has to offer, but I have also seen light at the end of the tunnel and know first hand what needs to happen to keep our children safe. What needs happen is to heal people before they ever pass that trauma on to somebody else. excited to share all of that today. Absolutely. And Paul, you said that you've seen the light at the end of the tunnel, but I want the viewers and listeners to understand that light, understanding your story isn't something that just peaked your head around the corner in that tunnel and saw it.
You had to build a tunnel to get there. And that's what I want to talk about today, about that tunnel that you had to build. And me being a former firefighter paramedic and dealing with nothing but emergencies, I've seen some true darkness. But I could tell you one thing. Here in the United States, there is darkness, but there's definitely a layer of control to not allow too much deep darkness you went to other countries
Early Success and Charity Mindset 4:42
where they don't have that layer that we have here in United So first I wanna talk about who is Paul, man. Let's go back to the early days because you told me earlier, it wasn't always Paul Hutchinson, the guy who was changing humanity. Before it was Paul fucking Hutchison, right? So I want to know about Paul and what kind of triggered you to do what you're doing today? Way, way back when I was a little kid, I wanted to be... I remember going in and talking to my dad. I want to successful in life.
What does that look like? How do I do that? And I remembered he gave me two things. He gave a book by Del Carnegie, How to Win Friends and Influence People. It's my favorite. Yeah, it helped me realize it's not all about me. Everybody you're talking is a thousand times more interested in themselves than they are you. And if you can really be truly interested And that concept helped me build successful companies and everything is truly putting myself in the shoes of my employees, of our investors, etc.
And then the other one he gave me was an audio program by Brian Tracy called The Psychology of Achievement. that helped me realize that literally everything in our life can be controlled and created by our dominant thoughts and our words, et cetera. And what we're bringing into our reality is not something that's just by chance. It's something we can literally have control over. So moving forward, I started a company in my early 20s. That I owned a company called Midwest Center marketing it helped Midwest center for stress and anxiety help people overcome anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions, childhood trauma, a lot of emotional distress that so many Americans deal with.
In fact, There are so many people that deal with those challenges, that we had over 50,000 people a month calling in off of our infomercial to get a workbook, audio programs, et cetera. I sold that company for a lot of money. What year was this? This was, I was 29 years old, so this was 1989. Okay. No, sorry, 1999, and I told it for $20 million. when I was 29 years old. Now, most of that was restricted stock and a machine company, but I as rich on paper and that's what's important to me. And so I took some of the cash, started investing in real estate, realized if I didn't hire a guy smarter than me in the real state, I'm going to lose all my money in a real-estate.
So I put together a team. That team was amazing and built that up to a multi-billion dollar real estates investment firm. massive success at a very young age created some problems. I was going through relationships. My kids wouldn't talk to me. Put this into perspective. So I at one point had a plane, two helicopters, I had house with ten bathrooms, eight private suites, seven fireplaces in my house, three kitchens, a full a basketball court in my basement. Right. This was the kind of life I was living now.
Now, everybody thought, well, I wish I could was Paul, you know, all this stuff. I would have parties with NBA players and half dressed girls at my my house. But, You know I wasn't fulfilled. It wasn' really happy. Now, I will say that I believe a huge part of my financial success came from a decision I made in my early 20s, which was to donate a percentage to charity. And that's kind of what brought me into all of this work. I had a mentor. He said, Paul, he said the average person donates about 2% of their income to Charity.
If you make the decision that for you, that number is never less than 10%. In fact, You know that the Book of Malachi, the last book of the Old Testament in the Bible says, prove me now herewith if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there is not going to be room enough to receive. And he's talking about charity work. He's talked about At least 10 percent the tithe, right? And so so my mentor said he says this isn't a religious thing. This is a this is an universal law that you prove that.
You're a good steward now. And this was back when I was earning like two grand a month. Right. So I'm broke. But I said, well, that's why I want to be rich. I wanted to rich so that I can have enough money where I could be be charitable. Right. So I made that decision my early 20s. I mean, how does somebody become? a partner let alone the founder of a 20 30 40 billion dollar Investment fund where you know, you're not a University of Utah dropout The statistical probability that's who I am, right?
I'm a drop out the statistical Probability of me being where I is zero The only way that I can understand it is there was a few of these multipliers and one of them, one them was the charity work. I believe you give out 10%, God blesses you a 10 X on everything that you're doing. There's other things we can talk about later that believe are a hundred X and a thousand X multiplier on your business success. So that was kind of the world I was in when I received a phone call from our attorney general.
introducing me to some people that were doing undercover child rescue missions and that's what changed my life. What kind of what was your charity of choice if you don't mind me asking? Well, I remember starting when I was when my mentor told me I should donate money And so I'd be I don' know I didn't know anything about charities back then as in my early 20s I would literally I walk I Would drive my car downtown I see guys at the side of the street that are have a sign will work for food, right?
I Remember I wasn't a friend I pull over and I I Don't give him a dollar I give like a 20 right because I've got 10% I got to give away I'm giving away cash these guys right and my friends like bro. I Do you really think you're making a difference? And I said, you know what, I don't know and I can't judge. I, don' know if that couldn't have been me on the side of the street, if I didn't to have a healthy family growing up. But over time I recognized that indeed I was probably adding to the problem of creating welfare mentality.
And so I made the conscious choice to focus my time and money on children, on truly innocent, I don't know if that guy on the side of the street was making bad decisions his whole life and that's why he's asking me for drug money, right? But a nine-year-old child in a position completely outside of any decisions that she made, that is why I wanted to focus. So, you know, I was on The Make-A-Wish Board of Directors for seven years in our area. I'm the incoming chairman for Make A Wish in the area when I...
when I got that phone call talking to BI. I remember the attorney general, he said, Paul, I know you've donated lots of money and lots time to child-related charities over the last number of years. He said I need to talk to you about something that's pretty dark. It's the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world, and people don't even know this happening. He started talking about human trafficking. He said, there's, people think that slavery disappeared at the time of Abraham Lincoln.
First Child Rescue Missions 12:24
in slavery than all 300 years of the transatlantic slave trade put together. Wow. And people don't understand that. Now, Paul, you mentioned one thing earlier. You said donating your time and money, right? Because a lot of people, when they think about, okay, I gotta do something for charity, most people go to donate money. How important is besides just donating money donating your time? I believe it's everything in fact my mentor told me that I should donate 10% or more of my money and 10 percent or More of by working time Wow meeting if I was if i was working a 40-hour week I Should donate four hours a week My time to charity that makes sense.
I love that. Yeah, I loved that and me personally I feel like Donating your time has more value than the money itself because sometimes the Money can't do what Paul Hutchinson can do. Well and and seeing it firsthand You know whether it's it being there at the soup kitchen and Looking in the eyes of the people who are in that situation and feeling that compassion for them That's so much more than just writing a check. In the child rescue work, in the beginning, they just needed some money to go rescue some kids in Columbia, and I helped to make that happen.
But then, what changed everything was a few weeks later when one of the operators called me. It wasn't about the money, was it? He said, Paul, he said we found more that 100 children down here. More than 50 in Cartagena and other cities. He says, I think we could rescue them all. at one time. He said, because if we just take down one, then the other traffickers will kind of hide. We've got to do this simultaneous sting in three cities. I think we could rescue over 100 kids, but I need your help.
Okay. And you know, Eagle B at the time was like, well, how much do you need? Right. He said, I need you. Can you be in Columbia in two days? How was that feeling when, when he said that? Because that's, that I mean, yeah. I'm more than sure you paused for a minute. Yeah. Well, the reality is I, my whole life I felt like I was going to fight in a war. I never joined the military. I have great friends, and I just love and admire anybody, any first responders, anybody who puts their life in danger for my safety.
But I had never signed up myself, but I'd done extensive training. So when he called me, he says, I need you in Columbia. And I'm thinking, Columbia, isn't that super dangerous? But you know, back at the time of Pablo Escobar down there, you can pay $200 and have somebody off, right? So I thought, oh, that's gonna be, But he said, Paul, he says, I have to have somebody who can effectively negotiate a real estate transaction with the traffickers. He said the head trafficker's got a piece of property he inherited.
and make it into a, like a child, a resort for American men to go down and do horrible things to kids. And he said, this trafficker has connections with all these other ones and somehow we need to get him to call them and bring their kids together and so we can rescue them all. I said, yeah, I can make it down there. Well, what was interesting is two hours later, my business partner, John Pennington, he was a co-founder of Bridge Investment Group with me, and he calls me up and goes, Paul, as I heard what you're doing, have you thought this through?
He said this is really dangerous. He says, you said you could sell out today, buy an island, be happy the rest of your life. I say, would I really be really happy? If I bought an island, I'd bought another plane. I was in that state of just searching for meaning. If was doing something else dangerous, if I climbing Everest tomorrow, you and I would have the same conversation. He said, yeah, we probably would. And when I'm 95 years old and look back on my life and say, why? Climb this mountain that I built this multi-billion dollar company and I helped rescue this many children Which of them matters?
That one's powerful. Yeah, the children. The children So so you got on that airplane and went over there? I did I I Didn't know what to expect. I thought I've got traffickers would be you know big, you guys on the street, you know, a bunch of earrings in their noses and chains coming down to their nipple and, buncha tattoos on their neck. How were they? What they look like? The first trafficker I met was a businessman. A regular businessman? Clean cut, polo shirt, well spoken. Next time it was a female.
She was she was like Miss Cartagena She wasn't in this modeling agency down there, you know in the sound of freedom movie She kind of the kingpin in real life. she just kind working for these modeling guys, but But and I thought these guys aren't traffickers But I realized As we sat down and started discussing The worst things that you can imagine In fact, over the next 10 years, the common thread of every trafficker that I met, I led over 70 undercover missions in 15 countries and the comment thread wasn't earrings and tattoos and all this, whatever.
The common threat was arrogance, greed, lust. unhealed childhood trauma, addictions to drugs that was fueling all these things. Those were the common threads. And what's interesting is that after a few years of doing these missions, Still, Paul fucking Hutchinson, right? So I had all the money. I have all this stuff and all these unhealthy relationships. And sadly, yes, now I've had some purpose, but it wasn't changing all of the emptiness inside. In fact, the truth is, I now have the best Penny dropper stories on the planet, right?
Now I know I got money and things and a rescue kids on The Weekend. It was toxic for my ego. Right. And I had to look in the mirror and say, Paul. You're doing great things in helping kids. But how is arrogance, greed and lust showed up in your life? How is that showing up in a way that is destroying your relationships with your family, with you or business partners? And that was a dark night of the soul that needed to be reckoned with. But, well, you know, hearing you talk about this, and, there's one big important part, which is saving the children, right?
But there is another part of you where you're seeing, it's like you are examining and evaluating the individuals that are causing these children to go through this. And I don't think too many people would actually go that deep into it, but what is it that you saw when you would meet with these people, right? And you actually talk to them and look at them in the eyes. What is that that saw within that person's soul?
Traffickers, Trauma, and the Need for Healing 20:36
Brokenness, a lot of brokenness. It was interesting. I found myself wishing that I could go back five or 10 years, pull these kids out before they're ever hurt in the first place. But even then, just pulling them out of hell would just leave a vacuum. And I realized that even doing the undercover work, it's kind of like you as a firefighter, we were fighting fire with fire. The problem with that is when you're fighting with the fire in case of child trafficking, then something already got burned.
And in this case, it was the kids. So I thought, can we prevent this fire? Can we stop this from happening before it ever got to the point of hurting a child? And if just pulling them out of hell wasn't fixing it because it creating a void, the answer is not pulling the kids out of hell, it's pulling hell out humanity. That's what has to happen. I realize this too. The audience, don't get me wrong on this. This next thing I'm gonna say, I am not a sympathizer in any way of somebody who hurts a child.
And I have literally put my life in danger hundreds of times to ensure that they never hurt innocents again. However, I recognize that everyone, almost everyone of the traffickers were either trafficked themselves as children, abused themselves children came from either a verbally, physically, sexually abusive environment growing up. A lot of trauma. Lot of unhealed trauma and even the perpetrators. Now, again, bad things happen to them. does not justify their choices, right? On the Liberating Humanity podcast, I actually bring people on who went through hell as a child and became very successful in making a positive impact in the world, sharing that story.
Why? Because people need to know that that doesn't justify bad behavior. But 70% of incarcerated felons of all crimes, 70% of them say that they were a victim of abuse as a child. I believe that, I believed that. Paul, you know, one of the things that people have to realize with what you're saying here, it's no different than, like how you said, if you save the children, these demons out there still doing what they're doing. And for the listeners and the viewers, they hear me say this all the time.
You know, if we put somebody through a weight loss program, yes, we can put them on these GLP one drugs and they can lose the weight. But if you don't address and change the lifestyle, you're still going to be dealing with the same issue over and over because once they get off that medication, They're going. To gain all. The weight back. So no different here. You can save as many children as you want. But if those demons are still out there grabbing these kids and putting them through that into the slavery, that sex trafficking, you're never going to fix it.
So how did you decide to address that? You know, what with these individuals? Have you been able to to actually help people cleanse that trauma? Well, Yes, we'll go deep into that now understand after somebody has crossed that line they raped a child they're wasting my oxygen right I'm done I told my operators, I said, listen, it's not our choice to judge. That's our job, that's God's job. But if we need to arrange that meeting a little bit earlier, we can, right? But things changed over time. Yeah, in my opinion, the consequence for doing something like that is death.
I'm pretty sure biblical we could go there too. And it is. However, what I wish is if I had a time machine, if could I go back, and I would sit down with them. Before they ever cross that line and say what is going on in your life? That makes you think that in any way, it's okay to take that road What do we need to heal? What what? Trauma are you holding on to that? You're thinking, you know, I'll either put a gun to my head or I'l hurt somebody else or whatever else where where is this pain coming from right and my answer my Answer came from my own transformation.
Now let me walk you through kind of this, this what happened to me. I was, I, was two or three years into the undercover work, but I would still this big ego self with, with my, own addiction, sex addictions and money addicitons and everything else. It was super unhealthy. And, um, we were blowing through our undercover operators. We had guys with that were served in, already had PTSD from being in a green beret, Navy SEAL, et cetera. One mission undercover with me in seeing the atrocities of seeing a menu with children's faces on it, you know, was what they would be willing to.
that just they were done they just couldn't deal with the the negative energy there and so so we were figuring out ways to you know help them work through their PTSD and I had a company in my early 20s that's what we did is we help people overcome stuff so I already understood cognitive restructuring and helping people change negative habit patterns of thought I'm I'm not a fan whatsoever of somebody getting on Xanax and Zoloft and all of that broke stuff that keeps us addicted and numbs our emotions but doesn't ever get down to the roots of the problem.
There's so many things that Big Pharma tries to fix with a bunch of addictive drugs that really it's just symptoms. They're not getting down the root. Of the problem and so so, you know, that's what our company back, 35 years ago had done. And so here I was trying to, okay, what is the root of this? I have got to figure out how to help you with PTSD. I got a phone call from two of my undercover operators, Andy and Jimmy. They called me together and they said, I know Andy had done 22 undercover missions.
Jimmy had 13 with me. And, um, they called up and said Paul, do you, Do you trust us? And I said yeah, literally trust you with my life. Undercover I'm in charge of talking. They're in charged of making sure I don't die. You need to come to this healing retreat. And I said, I don't need a heel. I'm Paul F and Hutchinson, right? I need to heal. They like, no, you're on your second marriage headed for a divorce. Your kids don' even talk to you. You think that another car, another house, and another plane is gonna make you happy.
We're having all these parties with half-dressed girls and you are just not fulfilled. And even doing the undercover rescue work, you're just super broken in that space. And they said, this will be the most transformational experience of your life. I'm like, that's saying something. But I've done transformations stuff, right? I walked across coals with Tony Robbins sitting right by my side. You know, I have done transformation things. Can't tell me it's going to be a most transformation experience in my life, and no.
I trusted them enough to go and I'm going to tell you what was used in a second, but I, it was the most transformational experience of my life, bar none. Now, they were using some things that some people say are questionable. They were usin' some different types of plant medicines responsibly. they had some facilitators, some doctors that understood how to effectively use different type of psychedelics to help people with trauma therapy, PTSD, addictions, childhood, all of this stuff. In fact, the science behind it, for the listeners who are somewhat new at this, here's the quick science.
When we're children, Zero to eight, nine years old, our brain is in a state of neuroplasticity. We're very impressionable. we can learn three or four languages at the same time that we're learning how to walk and talk and everything else, all this stuff. But it all gets imprinted into our subconscious mind. And about 95% of our life is run by that subconscious might. If something bad happens when you're a little kid, You get abused by your uncle or even if something simple like your dad says you're not smart enough to get A's in that class or whatever.
Those things stick with us in our subconscious mind and dictate a lot of our behaviors in life. They come out in anger issues and low self-esteem and worry and what-if thinking and negative expectations. You know, perceptions we have, all of these things are impacted by that subconscious. And if you imagine, you know this, this neuroplasticity as a kid, if imagine like, like you were laying some, a concrete freeway, right? You're pouring that concrete and that neuro plasticity is when it's nice and soft and movable.
If you smooth it out when you're in that space, then great, You can drive great. Most of us don't have a smooth subconscious, right? We got all these bumps all over the place. And so because it's hard, and in order to change things in that subconscious mind later on, it takes at least 21 days to create a new habit.
Psychedelic Therapy and Personal Transformation 30:30
So that's like chiseling on those big bumps on the freeway for 21 day, trying to fix something so we can smooth that out. Well, psilocybin creates a temporary state of neuroplasticity. It's simply a window of opportunity to smooth those things out. The mushrooms by themselves don't fix anything. But in that state of neuroplasticity, if you have a trained facilitator that understands how to work with the medicine and the right music, the energy, you can create 10 and 20 years worth of therapy in two or three days.
Is that what you used during that retreat? That was. Yeah, that the doctor used a combination Mostly psilocybin, a little bit of ayahuasca, but not a full ayah type of a thing, and a couple other things. Some MDMA in there, some sassafras, etc. But for me, what happened for, I'll just tell you, my personal experience and why it changed everything. The facilitator knowing that I was in this massive ego state, that was unhappy with all of these things, There's about 180 different strains of psilocybin and the one that I that was given was specifically designed to break free of some of that toxicity.
And so it was the most beautiful, horrific experience of my life. Horrific because I felt In every part of my body, in my soul, and my heart, I felt the pain that my children felt when I cheated on their mom. As if I was them. So it was like Satan had his foot on my chest and was pushing it down into the just depths of hell. And then I switched the playlist. The facilitator had two different playlists. I changed my playlist to what I call my Jesus list, right? It had these beautiful redemptive music and I could feel God's hand just pulling me out of the depth of Hell and all this Tar just dripping off of my body and I was I could breathe again.
And then I said to myself, okay I I understand how this stuff works now Paul. Did you learn your lesson yet? So I consciously switched it back to this this music that had this deeper energetic frequency that that took me down and i could feel As if I was them, I could feel the pain of the family that broke up because some guy went to my party and slept with the cheerleader and broke his marriage. And then the ripple effect of that, not only his marriage breaking up, but his daughter, you know, getting involved in drugs and alcohol or a son committing suicide.
The ripple affect. Now, I didn't know all of these things, But I could see the future of my toxic energy and how it was affecting the lives of everybody around. Of humanity. Yeah. Wow. So when that was happening, would you say that it was more of a release or a breakthrough? For me, that part was a relief. The second part of the experience was one of breakthrough. For I needed to feel pure empathy. You know, God says you need to walk in the shoes of another person. That's what it was. It was as if I was them.
And I could also feel the joy of the kids that we had helped to rescue and as If I Was Them. But then is what happened for my breakthrough. This was This was as profound for me, is the facilitator knew that I also, one of my intentions was to build back a relationship with God that i had lost a long time ago. And so I after that experience I was sitting there with with the facilitator I'm still you know, we're talking not not micro dosing. We're tucking three to six grams, right? You you need help walk into the bathroom type stuff, all right, I micro dose proof.
So I know the difference Yeah, this is hardcore like full neuroplastic there to like guide you through exactly has to be guided You know and here's what's important This is why I'm not only not a fan, I am adamantly against recreational use on that level because let's say, for example, you're at a rave party, with your friends, or a party with friends and somebody's yelling at their girlfriend over there that the TV's going on here and some, whatever. movie is is happening and and somebody's having sex in the other room whatever it is if you're in a state of neuroplasticity and you don't have a loving controlled healthy environment with somebody that's helping you through your intentions you can actually do harm to that in that neuro plasticity oh yeah you could gravitate to the wrong exactly exactly so so for me I'm sitting there after this and I say to my facilitator, we're sitting and there were some statues, some Greek god statues that were up on the fireplace.
There was Poseidon and Zeus and in the middle was Atlas holding the world on his shoulders. I said to the facilitators, I feel a lot like Atlas. And I was still in my ego space, right? I said, I've got, holding the world on his shoulders. I got 4,000 employees in company and I, but look how strong God made me. His stomach's really strong on this statue, you know, the facilitator smiles and listens to my bullshit for a little while. She then says, Paul, ya know I admire that you're seeing some of those traits in those Greek gods, You know as well as I do that those were mythological gods.
She said, what about your relationship with him? And she points at this statue I had of Jesus. And I'm in this, you know, neuroplasticity's open hearted space. I said oh, I don't qualify for a relationship him. Why is that? She says, why is Paul? I say, well, when I When I left, I was Mormon growing up and I had left the church about 20 years before and as part of that left connection with God. And so I said, oh, when I, left church of my youth, my bishop told me that until I re-baptized into that church, wouldn't have the spirit of God with me.
She said do you really think that that's true? I said, well, no, I tried to do good things. I, you know, tried do a lot of charity work. And she said Paul, why don't you take some time over the next hour or two and rebuild that relationship. So here I am on mushrooms. Like apparently walk, and I reach up and grab this statue and she helps me bring it down. Then I just held him. I just held him next to my arm and rebuilt the most beautiful conversation, beautiful relationship with this conversation with my brother.
And that couldn't have happened with all of my ego walls that were just built up in front of me. from the trauma I had seen doing the rescue work, from trauma that I created in myself with my ego. The trauma of just feeling like I was a lost soul. And it was so transformative for me that i started looking into it. Because in the beginning I thought that things like mushrooms were as dangerous as cocaine. You know, because it's a schedule one drug, it must be dangerous, right? The truth is, psilocybin is safer than table sugar.
There's never been a case of addiction, not one, ever. And when used properly with a trained facilitator, in the right environment, with the music, etc., with right intentions, when use properly, I've never seen anything that was more effective at helping people overcome anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions, childhood trauma, or in my case, an unmitigated ego that negatively affected the world around them. It actually heals. Unlike a lot of other drugs where it will throw you down their spiral and destroy your body.
It'll destroy mind, your mind and everything else, relationships. If this is used properly, which shamans have been utilizing this stuff for ages. My daughter ended up becoming a shaman after that. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah, I became a master facilitator as my wife. In fact, we've, uh, We've now hosted and facilitated, to date, 76 guided meditation. Facilitated plant medicine, healing. We're at what do you guys do it in South America now? We actually used to do them here in the u.s. Before I was public right when I still under cover But and I remember going into the Attorney General of our state and they said listen I've used this with my with My undercover operators Navy SEALs Green Berets who had PTSD and that they couldn't deal with.
Their wives who were on Xanax and Prozac and all this crap, and it's fixed that. Then we started to bring in women who dealt with childhood sexual trauma, severe trauma. 10 and 20 years worth of therapy, weren't fixing it. This worse. I went into the attorney general, I said, bro, I'm going to bring this to Utah. I lived in Utah at the time. He says, you can either arrest me or tell me how to make it legal. And he laughed. So I took some legislatures, some LDS bishops and took them to Jamaica. Because I knew that the church was so influential out there.
I thought, wow, if we can get Utah to do this. Utah almost became a state to not only decriminalize, but to fully legalize the use of psychedelics and trauma therapy. The problem is our governor decided he wanted to veto our bill. He was waiting for the FDA to approve some stuff, which I think they will. But we took these guys and so we were doing a bunch of them. there and well through we were going in Colorado and Oregon where it was decriminalized well now after after the bill got vetoed i'm like okay i can't bring this here we are going to build a healing retreat there so we started looking around and now we have one in in Colombia.
What part of Colombia? Just outside of Medellin, we have one there, one in Mexico, and one one Costa Rica. We manage different people in different facilities and bring them down for seven-day fully immersive transformational healing experiences using a combination of psilocybin, something called Combo and Bufo and some other things that are just Really powerful. Yeah, but yeah, all that stuff is very powerful a lot of healing properties there You know, I just recently had a gentleman by the name of Sam Sam believed on the podcast and he's the founder in Colombia Ayahuasca retreat called a wire.
Uh, yeah I've heard of them and they're pretty big fantastic reviews very well known and You Know that the stories that I was able to get out of him was powerful You know now I haven't done ayahuasca myself. It's one of those things where it's um, I feel like I have to be ready Yeah to, be the medicine has to call to you. Yeah, especially with aya There's there's a you know, and and for for the newbies who? Want to know the spectrum, you, know on one side you've got things like like ketamine you Know ketamine is legal here in the u.s.
The problem is ketamin is also synthetic That's why it's legal is because Big Pharma can make money off of you, right? It's synthetic, it is manufactured, is not natural like the others. And sadly, It is also addictive. There's a lot of people with ketamine addictions. And then you go into things like San Pedro and Wachuma and psilocybin. You've got things, like ayahuasca, way over here. Now, I very seldom will have anybody do their first full ceremonial experience using psychedelics with ayahusca.
because ayahuasca can be a pretty heavy experience for some people. It's a, you know, your, but it's very powerful in breaking free things. I tell people say, well, when should I do Aya versus psilocybin? I said, how hard headed are you? Cause with psillocyban you can kind of drive, right? It is you and your intentions, me and the facilitator saying, okay, what kind things do we want to work on? Let's work And in that neuroplasticity state, we can work on things like my unmitigated ego, my relationship with God, whatever.
But you can still kind of steer around the shit you really need to work with. Let's say that you're cheating on your wife and you've got a pornography addiction. You don't want to talk to anybody about it. Don't wanna admit it to yourself. When psilocybin, you might not really fix that. Ayahuasca? Now grandma Aya is going to say, all right, you ready to fix your shit? Cause grandma I is driving. You're not driving, right? Right. She's like, she's, like we're going fix this and you'll, and she'll take you right through all of these, the addiction stuff.
And you're like Oh, And then she said, You ready? Let go. We're gonna let go right now. Boom. you are going throw up from your toes all the way up. Right? It's a real purge. It is not a physical. It's an emotional and spiritual purge that that this solidifies Those commitments to release those things that no longer serve you right? So I tell people Let's get 80 90 percent of it done the hard work in a place that you don't have a bucket in front of you Right with the psilocybin experience so that we can work through that and in doing so then if If we haven't fixed everything, if you still have some deep, deep hooks, then your experience isn't so heavy.
How often do you do ceremonies yourself? I personally have done a lot. Now, our people, when they come, I tell them, listen, If you call me back in three months and wanna come back, it's because I didn't do my job, right? We're not like your doctor that's gonna prescribe you something and have you keep coming back. This is, you can get it done, one and done. A lot of cases it is one-and-done. You come in for a five, six, seven day fully immersive experience. I don't wanna see you back for year or two.
The only time where they come is what will happen is you start out right here in life and then this is gonna take you. It's going to take to this. whole new level. And then you're going to be high. Your next three or four weeks, you are showing up with a place of the heart. You're showing with pure integrity.
Building Healing Retreats and Integration 46:30
life starts happening, right? And you start, and you're gonna, somewhere around four days or four weeks or for months, whenever it is, you are gonna kinda come down. You're never gonna go back down to where you were, but right about here and then you like, okay, I know how to get back to that place of self-love. I now how get to to place a piece. And then, climb back up, your integrating, integrating integrating. Once you fully integrated and your smooth, now you can decide, Now my life is here, instead of here.
I'm really good, I can stay this way forever. Or, what if? What if I could take that next step? And at that point, after you've fully integrated, then you can come back and create some more. Now Paul, besides you actually conducting these ceremonies, Do you put yourself through it very every time? Yeah, no, well when i'm facilitating I don't take any medicine, okay, but every Time we have brought on a a new a, new strain Or a. New grower or a New facilitator I put myself through as a participant.
Okay, because i ii'm still i am still evolving i'M still working on my stuff now in the beginning now way back Eight plus years ago, nine years, ago when I did my very first one for myself, it wasn't a seven day, wasn' fully immersive. It was a facilitator that's like, you know, give you some stuff and she's kind of working through some things. I, It wa so powerful for me. that I hired her, I paid her $100,000. Hired her for a year so that i could do one ceremony every single month. The payment wasn't just for that.
I payed her to go to lunch with my employees, with kids, my ex-wife, anybody that was in my peripheral in life. She was already a therapist. And so I was telling him listen you have a free therapist, but really what was going on? She was meeting with them to find out everything Paul needed to change because I told her listen when I'm in that state of neuroplasticity I need I don't know what I know pigs. Don't no pig stink, right? You know, I I thought I didn't need to work on so You go to lunch with everybody in my world you ask them.
Hey I What is it? Why ask my kids, why aren't you talking to your dad? You know, I'm trying to work on some stuff and find out everything. Find out what I said to him at three years old that I don't remember. Whatever it is, find everything that. I need to start changing about me and I will. And so I did, did a bunch of work in the beginning and needed it though. I mean, at the end of the day, you know yourself better than really anyone else. So if you're saying that you needed it, now Paul, to go back to how we even got here in this conversation, we were talking about how some people are living with some severe trauma, right?
Where it leads them to have some of these bad thoughts and sometimes act on these thoughts. And, you know, as kids, we're always told, oh, be who you are, do whatever your body tells you what to do. And in all reality, This might not sound the best, but sometimes you shouldn't be who your body's telling you to be or who you're mind is telling to to. Sometimes you need to hide in the closet. And I'm not talking about homosexuality. I've talked about some of this bad things that people do, these sins, things against children.
So, us talking about this plant-based medicine and being able to address some of these traumas and prevent people from acting upon some these thoughts of who they think they should be, how has that fed to really correcting some issues with some people that have this mindset? I believe I truly truly believe that if every person who was abused as a child every Person who has an addiction every? person, who, has feelings of hurting another person if everybody on earth went through a a full experience like I did, we wouldn't have child trafficking anymore.
We wouldn''t have Child Abuse anymore and I've seen it. I''ve seen at firsthand, I'v seen so many people that are holding on to it and a lot of the people, that that, are coming in, you know, i've got, guys who are abused as children that grow up to be protectors. Now this is important to understand, just because you were abused, as a child doesn't mean you're going to, be an abuser. The majority of people who were abused as children grow up to be protectors of kids. A lot of my operators were, right?
However, they were still, it was showing up in other ways in their life, or showing in low self-esteem and anxiety and depression and PTSD and anger issues, and a lot cases. It shows up in in sexual behaviors and maybe hopefully it's not in hurting a child, but guys who have have uncontrollable pornography addictions or I have I Have friends who are who were homosexual And and they say multiple friends say paul I wouldn't The only reason why i'm a homosexual is because my first experience was at seven years old with my with My male cousin, right?
There's other guys that that are on the other side. They're like they're sleeping with every girl they possibly can Because they were abused at 7 years Old by a male and their trying to prove to themselves in the whole world that they are not gay Right, there's all kind of these perversions everywhere that is showing up because of Unhealed trauma as children and so whether whether your trauma is showing up in low self-esteem or anger issues or whether it's showing Up as pornography or weather showing, up as alcohol Addictions or, whether showing.
Up in passing that trauma on to others and verbal physical or even sexual abuse We all need to change we all, need i i love the story of the you know the man that's sitting on a couch and he's he'S reading a newspaper and He's got his Little boy comes in he says daddy daddy. I want to play baseball with you He says oh, I'm reading my newspaper right now the little boy. Comes back dad. Please can we play? Baseball little way and the man turns the page and he pulls it open. There's him There's a map of the world on the next page.
He tears it out, tears up a little piece of paper, throws it on to the ground. You go, son, you need to learn your geography. Go get a piece, go get some tape, tape that all together so it's all perfect, every single country where it is supposed to be. If you do that, I'll go play ball with you. Like, five minutes later, the little boy comes back, and it's all taped perfectly. And the dad's like, what, did your mom help you? What happened? The little boys like no, no. There was a picture of a man on the other side.
I just taped the man together. That's really what it is. We we sit here and think how can I change the world? How can it until we fix that man inside? Yeah, you put that together Everything else works. So so so that's that really the answer to the riddle and and it comes to The ripple effect I I am I call it the Tension transfer. Let's say that, you know, let's see you go to work you how many employees you have you got it? You got a pretty big operation. We're like 400 Yeah, like four hundred employees, right?
Let us say they you hadn't done your inner work Let say you show up one day and you start yelling at somebody, You know I you're out of out Of integrity with them and then he goes home and he yells at his wife and his Wife then she the little boy comes home from school and she yells it him for whatever and a little Boy kicks the dog That dog being kicked was literally tension transfer from you yelling at your employee. Okay, so now let's pretend like I have an employee and what I didn't realize is that that employee was abused as a child.
severely and he never healed from it and let's say that it led to and lots of addictions drug addicitons pornography addicitions and lets say his pornography addiction was was something that escalated into rape videos and then eventually something younger something pretty soon he was fantasizing about something he wouldn't have even thought was attractive five years ago right Because of a combination of his trauma and bad choices, etc. Let's say that his wife just left him because of His alcohol addiction and let's Say that this is the weekend that he gets his 12 year old daughter and she's coming with her little cousin and Let say That now me acting out of integrity The ripple effect of my tension transfer.
I yell at him, he goes home, He gets drunk. Now that tension, transfer from me affected a child, right? That's why every one of us have to look in the mirror and ask yourself, how is the ripple affect of our actions affecting humanity? All of that's, um, That's something that I could tell you that. I think about those things frequently. But sometimes you forget to think of those states and that it could really have a tremendous ripple effect on many other people and affect humanity in a very negative way.
And that's up to that, it doesn't matter what walk of life you're coming from or you live in. This is something you have to really take into consideration. and I appreciate you bringing that up because that is powerful. So Paul, to go back to, you went to multiple different countries, right? Undercover. And I put emphasis on that word undercover because the stuff that you're seeing, I'm more than sure you wanted to rip out of that undercover many times and probably put a bullet in someone's head.
How did you keep yourself, in that state where you didn't do that. I think most people knowing your story and what you've done, they'll just say, oh man, I just will kill that guy. But you had to keep yourself on the cover. How did you do? That's something mentally, mindset, it's not something that you could just do. You had a train or something to be able to do it. Well, remember that very first mission, sitting across the table from these traffickers. One of them leans forward and he said, Pablo, I have a gift for you.
I said really, what's your gift? He hands me his phone. And there's a picture of an 11 year old girl on his. He said this is Princess. She's 11. she's zero kilometer mile model. Meaning she was a virgin. He said, we just took delivery of some. She's my gift for your party. And I, I remember the, the Navy seal that was standing behind me. He was my real bodyguard and my show body guard. You know, there was a wealthy investor, so it would make sense. I would have bodyguards, right? He's standing. Behind me and he, he sees that picture and and says, oh, walk around the restaurant, make sure everything is, you know secure later.
We were debriefing. That little girl looked like my daughter. Oh, I almost unholstered my weapon and shot him right there. But if we did, of course we would lose all of the kids.
Prayer, Intuition, and the Holy Spirit 58:30
Now for me, at that point, this was the first time that I saw what I knew was a traffic child. And I thought, wow, if could get these kids out before they're ever hurt in the 1st place, that would be a miracle. I said, Fuego, you have more? Like her, do you bring to my party, right? Zero kilometer ones? He goes, oh yeah, yeah I have three or four more right now. I said, you're bringing them, right? He goes, oh no. He says, they're too expensive. I'm already paying this guy like 25 grand. Paying him $500 per child just for two hours in the afternoon, he goes hefe.
You already paid me $25,000, do you want to fuck those other virgins? It's going to cost you maybe $2, 000, maybe 5, 00 for that little one, it's gonna cost maybe 10,00 more. At this point I was legitimately pissed. No acting involved, he was talking about these kids like they're commodities. I'm in my nice suit, I've got $2,000 cufflinks on, right? I put my hands on my chest and I say, you don't think I can afford an extra $10, 000? He's like, oh no, Jefe, no. I said, I want every one of those zero kilometer miles at my party, every of them.
They better not be driven. Better still be clean when they get there. Not for you, they're for me. You understand? He goes, Oh yeah, jefe. Understand this. And I wanted to just kill him right there, you know? Moving forward, the answer to your question on how I was able to make everything work. of meditation, a lot of prayer, and we can talk about prayer meditation too, because I think that's a super important part of this whole, this healing thing. But I came to a realization that if I'm ever judging another human being, Whether it's some guy that cut me off on the freeway, maybe it was somebody that was in a grocery store lying that yelled at me, a past business partner who stole money from me.
Maybe some guys on this side of the street who's asking me for drug money. Or somebody selling me a child. If I'm ever, ever judging another human being. There's not a 80%, 90%. There is a 100% chance that I don't have all the facts. I dunno. If that guy cutting me off in the freeway, if his wife's in a hospital, he might just be an asshole, right? I dont know if the trafficker that's selling me a child, I wonder if he was raped as a kid himself. He probably was. And again, like I said before, it doesn't justify what they're doing, I can still ensure that they never hurt innocents again.
I could ensure they go to prison so that I use my free will to ensure their freewill doesn't affect the free-will of another. And I do that from a place of compassion. Right. But I don't have to do it out of an energy of hate, out an anergy of blame, Of guilt of shame, I don't have to do any of that. I can do that from a place of peace From a, place, of love from, a. Place of compassion for the children and compassion For humanity in whatever form they choose to show up And you know, what that's more powerful than doing it the other way That's a Man, you really answered that question.
Yeah. And it's really how we need to show up every day in our life is yes, if there's a rat in my kitchen, I need remove that rat because I don't need have my food get diseased. Right. But I have to do it from a state of anger and hatred. I can say no, he's probably gonna still die, right? That rat's gonna die. He can come back in another lifetime, not as a rat, whatever it is. But I don't have to do it out of a place of anger. Right? The whole anger thing, it's just, It's not gonna truly solve the problem.
It is not. I learned that early on, man. And it was actually in high school. I remember I wasn't the best driver. I'd get cut off or something and all of a sudden someone's throwing the finger out the window. And initially I believe the guy was just like, I'm gonna get back up to this person. Eventually I learned that that person who's pissed off at me, who drives up my window, as soon as I rolled the windows down, say, hey, sorry, made a mistake. It calms the situation. It's almost like they don't even know how to respond after that.
They're just like, OK, and then they just leave. And I told them when I started doing that and I start teaching some of my friends, this is the way you should respond, because it's only going to escalate to something worse. At that point in time, it's like you have more control of the situation. And that's what you've done when you're working undercover. Now, Paul, when were going to these different countries, Which was the most dangerous and the more crazy country you've been to? I've done a lot of crazy countries.
Haiti was probably one of the dangerous. I did 12 undercover missions in Haiti. Took down some of largest trafficking rings in the Caribbean, including four corrupt federal judges as part of one those operations. In fact, At one point, we were following up on some leads. In the movie, Sound of Freedom, We took eight different rescue missions and put them all together into one storyline. A lot of different operators. We put a lot focus on a couple of the characters that were there, but there were a LOT of operators involved in different missions.
And one of my more dangerous ones was going in dressed as a doctor pretending to be a Doctor in the jungle of Haiti between halfway between the Haiti and Dominican Republic on the border. There's the closest police station is 10 hours away, right? Five hours driving, five hours going by horseback or walking in. You had a lot of these, these drug traffickers that were in there were bringing some of their children. They were, they were abducting kids or bringing them in from what they called the rest of it program, which was a legal form of slavery in, in Haiti still.
And, um, so going in undercover there was super dangerous. I remember one time we were the city in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This is a, uh, one of the darkest, most voodoo-infested places on the planet. And it was about 2 a.m. We had worked our way up to what I call a level 3 trafficker. These are the ones who physically hold the children in captivity. Level 1s are guys selling me cocaine at 2 in the morning. level 2 is usually a pimp that's selling women and has access to kids. The level three are actually the one who are selling the kids, right?
And this level was a female. It was a she she had been selling kids for a long time and her her goons her protector, you know henchmen guys we had built relationships with them and they introduced us to her finally and we're about two in the morning and. Really dangerous area and there's this this door is about four feet wide seven and a half eight feet tall big steel red door and and They stick the key in this store It opens and the first thing I see is this This it was a hallway was dimly lit with cobwebs and multiple cell doors Down the left-hand side these cells didn't have any windows Any access other than this little small like two-foot door steel door there that she sticks a key in one of those opens it up and the first thing I see is a it's not even a bed It's a steel plank that's held to the wall with it with a chain, you know So you can fold it off because it was a five foot wide by six foot deep room with dirt floors And to the left of that there on this this bed was a dirty dingy blanket and to The left was A concrete block There was, a little girl sitting on This concrete Block Looking at me like this is this little Girl She was 14 she was taken when she, was seven her parents were killed in the earthquake in haiti and Nobody knew she was alive.
The traffickers took her and she sold for sex twenty, thirty times a day for seven years. You know, they selling them to tourists or they're selling to anybody. Yeah, if there were that she owned this one of her accomplices owned the strip club there and you know They would find clients there, and then bring them over and sell them sell in the kids. That's great And this little girl she didn't say one word for two weeks after we rescued her the first words that She said Where I didn' think anybody would come?
She had given up hope. Like seven years before, she had giving up. Hope that stuff. Now she's, you know, in a healthy home. She's learning to dance. He's going back to school. Every one of these kids have a story. Yeah. Wow. That's that's. Well, the you mentioned earlier the power of prayer and meditation. The first part of that is there's people out there that say that they meditate when they pray, and other people say their prayer is meditation. Now, I have my views on that, on a clinical standpoint, not just clinical, but also faith-wise.
And to me, they're two whole separate things. Meditation is not prayer, prayer's not meditation, what's your viewpoint on it? Let me put it this way. Most of us, how we pray, we teach to praise, praise praise.
Sound of Freedom Book and Final Takeaways 1:09:00
Please forgive me. Sorry, sorry, and please bless, bless bless. Can you imagine having a relationship. Let's say you're dating a new girl right now, right? And you call her up and your conversation is, hey babe, wow, you are so gorgeous, we're the best girl I've ever dated. Wow, praise, and sorry, I'm so sorry. I left the dishes all dirty and I crashed the car this morning and actually cheated on you, whatever. And please, fix, can you take care of this, then you hang up the phone? That would be a crazy relationship.
Yeah. She was, she was. Wait a minute. I want to talk to you. Right. So here's the thing I believe that most people miss the opportunity to receive divine guidance in their life because their prayers are so one-sided. It should be a communication. Yeah, it should. And so however you get there to learn how to tune in. In fact, I had an experience a number of years ago with there was a man by the name of Jerry Pride. Jerry sadly died a couple years, a few years. But Jerry was the inventor of a whole bunch of life saving medical devices.
He was the inventor of the original software, voice recognition, like your Siri and everything, the software that IBM used in their very beginning phrases years and years ago. Jerry couldn't read or write. He never graduated from elementary school, yet he was tested at the university as the highest IQ they had ever tested, one of the highest in the world at that time. This was almost 30 years ago when he tested. He said to me this, he said, Paul, do you think that I'm the inventor of those medical devices?
I said, you have the patents, right? He goes, yeah, I do. I say, You're not the inventor. He says, no. What do you mean? How long has the universe been around? I says millions of years. Billions upon billions of year. Those medical devices were invented billions years ago. And I was like, what? He said, you could have an IQ over 200 if you wanted. He says, the difference between me and you is that I listen better than you. And, I'm like you listen, better, than me. I, was trying to understand. he goes, no, not listen.
Better than, me, he said. You I listened better. Than you, and he touched his heart, Not his ear. Mm-hmm. said God's guidance is available for us and everything that we do. Most people discount their intuition. Because they know not from where it came They believe that their intuition is limited to their knowledge of from the books They've read and the people they've talked to etc etc when you realize that the majority of that intuition comes from a place of divine truth Mmm, you will learn to trust it and you'll learn follow And that started opening up my mind.
He said, it's like we're all supercomputers with infinite capability. But the only way that most people are putting information on their supercomputer is with those old, remember those little floppy disks, little three inch ones back when we were kids, right? He said, it's like that, you literally put a little floppy disk in there and you have enough information for two word documents, that's all. That's how we take information in and the podcasts we listen to and books we read. He says, when you learn how to listen, is like having a high speed fiber optic internet connection with a truth filter on there.
that you can literally have access to everything. He said there are countless musical works of art that were written note perfect the first time. The, he said a lot of the writings you start reading about, about Nikola Tesla and, and Einstein, a of these inventors early on talk about being able to tune in. Right to something greater than themselves. You know, when you started talking about energy medicine, right? And you start hearing people talk about they receive downloads. That's part of it. Would you say that that intuition is the Holy Spirit that lives within you?
Absolutely. And I think that every person is born with it, the problem is, is that we allow all of the things of this world to get louder than that still small voice of truth that's within. And is that where meditation comes in to quiet the mind, to be able to listen with it? Yes, I believe, for me. For me, see, our conscious mind just has this very, very thin view of the world. You know, this is our conversations we're having right now. There's three minds, there's a conscious, a subconscious, and then there is a super conscious.
The Holy Spirit, God, okay? Now, There is book that I have a lot of our Undercover operators read called the gift of fear and the gifted fear focuses almost solely on the subconscious and it talks about in there how our Subcon our conscious mind, you know, maybe is involved in our conversation right now your subconscious mind remembers exactly How many steps you've taken your entire life, right? Your subconscious mind knows how many glasses of water you've drunk your entire life. Your sub-conscious mind is connected with a lot of things in your body and can sense things that are going on that your conscious mind doesn't know, right?
And so the gift of fear in that book for our operators talks about how, you know if all of a sudden you're feeling something, trust it because your subconscious might have picked up in you peripheral view 10 steps back, some guy in the corner that was there with a coat on when it was a hot day and was coming, whatever it is, right? So your subconscious mind knows when you were in a business conversation with one of your potential business associates, your sub-conscious mind know how many times his pupil was dilating in your conversation, picks up these cues of his body language, or your conscious mind doesn't.
But even them, with all of that information your self-concious mind has access to, It's a teeny tiny little speck compared to the Holy Spirit, compared that infinite super-conscious, the Akashic records you might call it, literally the knowledge of everything. That super conscious mind, that Holy spirit knows not only about your potential business partner's pupils dilating, It knows the conversation that he had with his other partner before he came and saw you that talked about screwing you over on that deal, right?
That that's that access to infinite knowledge. And so being able to whether it's transcendental meditation where you can just, you know, sometimes on the undercover missions. I talk about this. And I talk about how in my undercover missions, we weren't following logic and protocol many times. We were being led to where these children were and what we needed to do to keep our team safe, et cetera. And so being able to tune into that in your family, keeping your families safe and in, in you're business career.
All of these things are accessible to all of us. Thank you. Thank for that. Well, the book. Right. We got the Book here. Sound of Freedom. Now people know the movie. The book is a whole nother beast. Whole right. Yeah. What can people expect? this book? There's 20, I think there's like 24 chapters but broken up into four sections. The first section is things that parents can do to keep their children safe. I call it the making of an undercover operator.I go through all of these things on situational awareness and reading a room and and improvised weapons training and all of these things.
In addition to that, the charity work and the building wealth, all the things that all came together to make it so that we could then go help make a difference and rescue the kids. But then the second section is all about the rescue in Colombia. The next one is doctors in the jungle and a bunch of operations we did in Haiti, etc. But the last section, is about liberating humanity. What do we need to do to fix this problem so that it's not a problem for our grandkids and great-grandkids? What we do need do, to heal humanity?
How do look at that man or woman in the mirror and recognize the things in our life that are out of alignment? what are things that we can do in our community, in schools, and in the world that can help elevate that global consciousness and connect each person with that divinity within, with God, that so many people like I did, I lost my connection. With God and and by coming back into that alignment how we can truly save Millions of children not just the ones that we pulled out of hell, right? Wow That's a book.
I think every parent needs to read that book Paul as we wrap up here If there's someone listening or watching this podcast that really resonates with today's message, what is that one thing you can leave them off with? I believe that there are the two most powerful laws in the universe is unwavering faith and unconditional love. So many times people think that faith is going to church and asking God to fix things in their life that they don't believe are going be fixed. That's not faith, that's just blind hope on something.
Faith is a principle of power. It's the most powerful law next to unconditional love, and in John chapter 5 it says, Ask in faith, nothing wavering. Well, the problem is, is that we have a hard time with unwaveringly faith about anything, because we don't know if it's in line with what God wants for us, or if we're worthy of it, etc., etc, but if you can start tuning in to that power of un-waavering faith you, can create miracles in your life, number one. Number two, the first step to healing is self-love.
And when Yeshua, I called Jesus Yeshua that was his real name when he was here. When Yeshua was asked What is the greatest of all commandments? And he said, love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, might, mind, and strength. And the second is like unto it, Love thy neighbor as thyself. People think that's two loves. It's actually three. That's love God. Love your neighbor. love yourself. Because you can't love your neighbour unless you love yourselves. If you're filled with regret and self-loathing and all of this negative Energy and if you don't feel that love that infinite love of God flowing through you then it's very difficult To love yourself and then to love your neighbor.
And so everything everything starts with that Unwavering faith that unconditional love starting with God and yourself And then you powerful Oh, this was great. This was something that was much needed. The world needs to hear it. And I appreciate you for coming on the podcast to share not just your thoughts, but your story and how we can truly change the world when it comes to humanity. God bless you. He does every day. Bless you, for that. You know, because this is what we need in this world. Thank you Paul.
Guys, you guys heard it, we have to change a lot of things when it comes to humanity. We heard the stories from Paul, he's lived it. He continues to live it And it's about love. It's not just about loving yourself, about Loving God, About loving your neighbor. it is about us coming together. Its about putting the man back together, putting The woman back again. And as he said, it allows the world to come back Together. We live in this toxic world, and it Is up to us, individually, to make that change.
