Hi, my name is Linda Tucker and I'm 51 years old. I've had the symptoms since 2004, about eight years. They started quite suddenly, almost overnight, with a burning of my tongue, throat, lips, nose, even down into my chest area. It was originally diagnosed as acid reflux disease, so I never even knew there was anything called Burning Tongue Syndrome until most recently.
