I'm Dr. Susan Sklar, the founder and medical director of the Sklor Center for Restorative Medicine located in Long Beach, California. We treat men and women from the teen years into their 80s with natural supplements to restore their health and vitality. we help people with fatigue, mood and weight problems as well as puzzling intestinal symptoms. My mission is to use the message of prevention and wellness to change the current medical model of disease.

I'm a Harvard-trained physician who's incorporated holistic and natural treatment into a solid foundation in conventional medicine. We've been in existence since 2007. After a successful 25-year career as an obstetrician and gynecologist, I decided that I needed a change from the insurance-driven, pressured way of seeing patients. I wanted a different experience as a physician, and I want to get to know people in a deeper way.

So I started the Sklar Center for Restorative Medicine. What makes us unique is the ability to combine the best of Western medicine's evaluations with natural and holistic treatment. I know from my own personal experience how conventional medicine can fall short and how effective an integrative holistic approach can be. When a patient walks into our practice, they can expect a solution to frustrating symptoms, as well as friendly personal care and great attention to detail.
