Opening on vaccine blame and outbreak context 0:00
Believe it or not, there are press reports that are blaming Robert F. Kennedy and Trump for this. Right, of course. Now, wait a minute. Some of these outbreaks have occurred in colleges. Yeah. Colleges are pretty, they're probably all vaccinated. I know, but the point is, Robert Kennedy, and they've only been in the administration for a year and three months. The vaccinations those kids should have had was 15 years ago. See, it doesn't even make sense to go. So suddenly Robert F. Kennedy is to blame.
Also, by the way, measles cases are on the rise in the UK. Well, Robert, if Kennedy and Trump, they don't have anything to do with vaccines given in UK, what we're seeing is examples of vaccine failure because the vaccines, as we talked about, aren't perfect. And we don' know the durability of these. I think we should get back to home based on treatment. Hi, it's Dr. Jen. Welcome back to the Healthy by Dr Jen podcast. So this guy needs no introduction today, Dr Peter McCalla. He has been an advocate for health, for real health during the pandemic.
Politically, he's involved and he is basically working for all of us, just keeping everyone healthy from all this nonsense. I'm so excited. he was in the wild. And I was sitting here doing interviews and I am like, Peter conference list. He wasn't speaking. And I met you in August at the ICIM conference and we were on a panel together.
Podcast introduction and event promotion 1:32
So that's right. It's so great. Thank you so much. Well, thank you. The time integrative medicine is where it's at. You're right, I'm spotted here in the wild in Nashville, Tennessee. And you've got the cowboy boots on for it. Quick promo, I'll be back in Nashville July 1st through 5th. We gotta be there. America Out Loud, which is the platform that hosts my podcast, is having an event, 25010. So it's the 250th birthday of the United States, 10 years of America out loud talk news. And McCullough reports been there at least for half of that.
we're gonna be downtown here at the Sheraton, Great Rub Toff party to watch the fireworks. Oh yeah, you gotta go. But listen, so much going on in healthcare and Health and Human Services right now. it's been kind of whiplash. So let's get an update. If anybody feels whiplash, okay, for those interested in progress on vaccine reform and vaccine freedoms, things look pretty good. Remember, it was just about 90 days ago, Trump assistant, the acting director of the CDC, which was Jim O'Neill at the time, trimmed the US vaccine schedule to essentially match that of Denmark's.
So people were cheering that none of the vaccines were taken away, but in fact, many were moved in what's called shared decision-making. That was the progress. And guess what happened? Everyone freaked out, all the AAP and everything. Right. They're whining. Well, listen, it's more than that. The American Academy of Pediatrics with six other organizations, including American College of Physicians and others, formed a group of plaintiffs. They sued Robert F. Kennedy and Health and Human Services, and then a judge, a federal judge just prevailed in favor of AAP.
CDC schedule rollback and vaccine reform setback 3:34
So they've wiped out all of vaccine reform. It's all back to square one. I didn't know that. Yes, it just happened this week. And now we have the schedule fully restored to where it was before. We're talking six month old babies getting COVID shots. Still? No, but it, it it. It was relieved over the first year of the administration. Now it's back in place. All the progress has been lost. Now, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and we have this out of my substack focal points, they are completely funded by the vaccine manufacturers, predominantly Merck and Sanofi.
To give a baby a COVID vaccine, just that terrifies me. Like that kind of made me sick in my stomach to think about that, honestly, because I've seen firsthand how many vaccine injuries from that specific one. So now what? We have a situation where I think effectively, Robert F. Kennedy, Health and Human Services, and even the Trump administration for that matter is effectively neutered. Really? Out on Zero Hedge today is a piece where it looks like all the progress made on the horrors of transgender medicine in the youth, including banning these procedures, taking away funding for these procedure, it's all being reversed by liberal judges.
Well then, yeah. So what do we do? So obviously this is the enemy coming in and combating light, truth. I mean, we pray more, but also we have to be active. What can we? Well, remember we make our own choices. Yes. The most dire situations are in states like California, Connecticut, New York, and I think Maine. Those are the ones where effectively There's no philosophical or religious exemptions for childhood vaccines, and there's just very limited or almost impossible to get medical exemptations.
Those are the states where it's most dire. States like Texas, completely different. Texas we download a form, you fill it out, get it notarized, And you can take a philosophical exemption to all vaccines. Say, listen, I don't want them. I want my kids to have them, file it with the school and you're good. So what happens in these draconian states? People have asked me, what should they do? The interesting thing about the COVID-19 pandemic has been the Great Reset. So Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum wrote this book called The Great reset and he's right.
The great reset means huge numbers of people are working from home. What does that mean? That means people that are free to move about in the country and many people who are moving now and saying, you know what? I'm moving out of California. I am going to establish a residence in Texas.
State-level vaccine policy and migration trends 6:32
Or Nashville. Or in Nashville, yeah. And that's what's happening. The whole entertainment industry is coming to Nashville so you're going to see people moving around the country. You're gonna see much more done at the state level. So for instance, Idaho is most progressive on banning messenger RNA vaccines for their lack of safety. Wow. I wonder why, something with potatoes. What has to do with some state of representatives who have been impacted and they are on the move. McCullough Foundation is aiding them greatly.
We're testifying in every single hearing, step by step. So watch at the state level, a lot more progress than we'll see at That's a great point. And I think people forget that, that yes, we have the United States government, but the state laws and specifically looking at abortion, for example, like the State laws are what actually has control over some of these things. So like, yeah, and with vaccines is one of them when it comes to schooling or what But we're now seeing executive orders, HHS public policy, and in some cases, actually legislation being overturned as unconstitutional by federal judges.
Now that raises the issue, who's really running the country? I mean, do we have a presidential administration? Do we an administration of Health and Human Services or our federal judges? And what are they using to base their decisions on? Yeah, their worldview. And their world view, and what liability do they take for the next child who is injured? by a vaccine. You know, vaccine injuries are real. And at the McCullough Foundation, we published in the last few months, I think the most influential document that's out there, and it's titled The Determinants of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
It's been published on the European Commission Open Air Preprint Server. Is undergoing the peer-reviewed literature at this point. But we have, I nailed this down in the published literature, that there are predisposing factors in children for autism. And some of them include these background susceptibility factors. So it is true, parents at older ages, a man over 40, mother over 35, child who's born preterm before 37 weeks, in utero exposure of heavy duty drugs, neuropsychiatric drugs, anti-epileptic drugs and anti psychotic drugs.
So someone who is on, let's say, Seroquel, the entire, that's a risk factor, not Tylenol. By the way, Tylinol is not a respecter for mother has a headache and takes two Tyleno capsules.
Autism risk factors and concerns about vaccine injury 9:08
That's not respect for autism. And I think Robert F. Kennedy and Trump should greatly regret their September 22nd press briefing where they came out and said, it's Tylino. No one bought that. And then there's some common genetic variants. People will come to recognize folate metabolism variants, what have you, are risk factors. But the big trigger for a previously healthy toddler to relatively quickly develop autism are combination vaccines, vaccines given all together. And at age 15 months now, back to the previous schedule, we're talking 16 things given at once.
Yeah, it's crazy. I found a copy, I was looking for something in my bar and I looking through old papers and found the copy of my vaccine immunization schedule and it was 10 things over 18 years. I was born in 82. So, you know, I think that people like to label anti-vaccine and it's not. It's pro-informed consent. let's look, like, does everyone really need a rotavirus vaccine? It's pro-risk stratification. Yes. So it has to do with risk. I can tell you, I was born 1962, but my kids were born 1995 and 1996. The big inflection point was 1986 when the Vaccine Injury Compensation Act was put into place.
And then the number of vaccines exploded because the companies were relieved of any liability for their products. Where we are now is I think we're in a state of excessive vaccination. And so, you know, there's some ways to risk stratify. So for instance, starting at age six months, babies are giving COVID vaccines and flu shots, adult flu shot at the age of six. Do you take a flu shoot right now? You're an adult. So if she doesn't take a flu shot, why should a healthy six-month-old baby take one?
And how did those get on the schedule? Well, lobbyists, because the American Academy of Pediatrics, their conferences are being funded by pharmaceuticals. So, if you take that away, they're going to have to find new funding. It's a crap situation. Right. In my first book, Courage to Face COVID-19, Preventing Hospitalizations and Deaths While Battling the Bio-Pharmaceutical Complex, we define the bio-pharmaceutical complex, which is essentially a working cartel. Remember a vaccine that has to be taken by every human being?
That's a huge use case, right? As opposed to treating a much smaller group who got sick. So for the respiratory vaccines, let's say diphtheria, pertussis, respiratory syncytial virus, you could make the case that a child with severe cystic fibrosis who's on oxygen, any little infection could tip them over to a hospitalization. There, the proportional benefit could be compelling enough to give it a go, right? But not for a healthy child. Let me give you another example. Hepatitis B, and this has been in the news.
By the way, that's now restored on the first day of life now with this. Again. I feel like whiplash. That's awful. So hepatitis b, this is known. 3.3 million babies are born in United States per year. Three point three million. Of them, the vast majority are perfectly healthy. The mothers are tested for Hep B and there's no indication for our baby to get hepatite B vaccine.
Hepatitis B, HPV, and excessive vaccination arguments 12:50
Now, 20,000 of mothers have Hep B. They test positive. The vast majority are immigrants from outside the United States. And those women need hepatitis B vaccine themselves. the babies get hepatitis B immunoglobulin and hepatitus B vaccine, and it's about 90% effective in preventing vertical transmission. So that's a winner. We should prevent vertical transmissions of hepatites B in 20,000 women, but not give it to 3.3 million healthy babies. That's lot of money they'd be missing out on. Right. It's excessive use.
There have been published studies showing that even the current childhood schedule, if the kids later on, the teenage years, get into unsafe sex, IV drug abuse, or other activities, they don't have the protection because it's given at the wrong time. Now I took the hepatitis B vaccine. I'm a cardiologist. We're working with blood and needles and scalpels. If there's a risk, I could contract it. first respondents, paramedics, police officers, there's a case there to become vaccinated. Now, in fact, I think the most compelling group for vaccination, kind of a stress test for the hepatitis B vaccine is gay and bisexual men who have a lot of receptive anal intercourse, and there the vaccine doesn't hold up too well.
Really? Yeah. It doesn't hold up too well. And another vaccine that should be used in that group doesn' holdup too. Well, we're talking about protection rates less than 50% is the human papillomavirus vaccine. Doesn't even work well, and that one has a lot of risk and injuries too Have you ever seen one of those cases? No. Oh, I have. I've given hundreds of public programs, so I meet a lot of mothers, and I had a couple of mother say, Dr. McCullough, i want you to meet my daughter. And I always say oh no, what is this going to be?
and say, here's my daughter, and it shows, you know, she'll bring me to some girl who's 15 or 16 in a wheelchair, all crumpled over, looking like severe multiple sclerosis. That's what it looks like, okay? Spastic peripersis, dysesthesia, disarthritis, the whole gamut. And then the mother will say, here's my daughter two years ago before they took the Gardasil vaccine. And there's a healthy girl playing volleyball and perfectly vibrant. All you have to do is see a couple of those severe neurologic cases for you to realize that, listen, This is not a joke.
Yeah. It's wild because I've spoken with my daughter about it because she's like, everyone's getting this. And when we talk about him, we're like well, this is why it's not appropriate. Even hepatitis B bringing that up again, I was a non-responder. I got it when I... I forget, before medical school and then in residency again because we had to prove to the hospital. Apologies. Non-responder times six shots. And I'm finally like, I am not getting anymore. This was when I was still asleep, obviously.
Well, same thing happened to me. I wasn't a non- responder for measles. When I there was no measles vaccine. Right. By the way, the CDC considers everybody born before 1957 had measels because it was so ubiquitous. But I was born 1962, no-measles-vaccine. So when I'm two years old, I take a measles shot. Okay, my parents were deathly afraid of infectious diseases. They followed the doctor's recommendations. And then I matriculate to medical school. I get my serologies, no immunity. So at that point in time, I'd take another measle shot Then later on, I'm a fellow, get checked again, no immunity, and then I get two MR shots there.
Now what's the problem? I already had mumps as a kid. I don't need any more mump vaccination, right? So you can see this. ideology of excessive vaccination. And there's an important paper to quote by Bianchi and colleagues that demonstrated of people entering medical school, that about 20% of enrollees have no serologic protection from their prior measles vaccine. Whereas if you had measle illness, 96% did. And it's kind of frustrating that they used to be separated, the MMR, and you could get just the one that you wanted because like rebella for females, that is devastating if you're pregnant and get rebellious.
Measles treatment, outbreaks, and media fear 17:28
So I think that people don't even know that and they took it away in the US where you can't get these just individuals. We have like no choice of anything so it just puts the fear into people when they open their emails. I think I got a few of my conventional newsletters I still follow about measles cases on the rise. And it's just this fear where we know as the treatment in Texas, Dr. Edwards, he was treating with vitamin A. So it is just so fear based and they're not looking for a solution. Well, let's talk about it.
We're going to have a high number of measle cases this year. probably around 10,000 cases. Now, the people say, well, that's a big deal. Sometimes we've had 500 or 1000 or 2000. Worldwide, The estimates are 600,00 cases in Europe alone, 250,0000 cases, so in those reports, a question I asked was, 250,000 measles cases, what was the mortality? In that report, the WHO, there were 36 deaths reported, not a single one adjudicated to be measals. Last year, two deaths, again, when carefully examined, were not due to measels, could have easily been treated with antibiotics.
There was a secondary infection. But the treatment of measls is well worked out. It was perspective, randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled trial in the New England Journal of Medicine. In South Africa, vitamin A reduced morbidity and mortality substantially. Listen, you get measles. You just want your kids to get through it, so vitamin a is part of it. Clearly, we have measels, immunoglobulin for close contacts, children having trouble breathing. We have nebulizers. For the encephalitis or pneumonitis, their case reports, very responsive to steroids.
Probably the reason why there were any measles deaths in the past were because we weren't using steroids and nebulizers. And of course, for the secondary, pneumonia is antibiotics. No child should ever die of measels in United States. If they do, the first thing I would ask is, are they adequately treated? And they're not getting good treatment because also doctors don't know how to treat it the right way. Their thought for treatment is prevention, which is vaccination. Well, RFK Jr. said that, though, too.
Yeah, he went out to West Texas and said, well, take a vaccine. I got a phone call from one of the Mennonites in West, Texas. She was a nurse and a mother. said, Dr. McCullough, I want to talk to you. They see me on TV. And she said listen, we're not taking these vaccines. We never have taken the vaccines, the Mennonites, Amish and others. and we just want know how to get through this. Of course they got through it. Now there's reports of measles spreading across the country, including Oregon, California, South Carolina, Texas, and of interest.
Believe it or not, there are press reports that are blaming Robert F. Kennedy and Trump for this. Right, of course. Wait a minute. Some of these outbreaks have occurred in colleges. Yeah. No, wait. Colleges are pretty, they're probably all vaccinated. Well, I know. But the point is, Robert Kennedy, and they've only been in the administration for a year and three months. The vaccinations those kids should have had was 15 years ago. Doesn't even make sense. Yeah, it doesn't even make sense to go.
One of the things we are seeing is we're seeing a tremendous explosion of press releases on this, driven by artificial intelligence.
This is very important. So I published a sub stack in Focal Points. Everybody should go to sub-stack focal points or go thefocalpoints.com. Sign up. It's free. You'll get a newsletter every day. But we did an analysis this year at 800 measles cases in the United States. Do you know how many press reports there were about those 800 cases? 40,000. 40 thousand? I was thinking like a thousand. Yeah. Forty thousand press briefings over 800 cases. Okay. And 75% of those press briefing were doing what?
Encouraging more vaccination. So the public health community and the artificial intelligence use has found that reporting on infectious disease cases is a tool to promote more vaccinations. Wow, that's tough. That's really tough, and it's hard because I'm sure you get messages and social media messages about the fear, you know, like, oh, cases are up to this. My kid, what do I do? And I am like vitamin A, have this stuff ready at home.
Home treatment kits and closing rapid-fire questions 22:48
For sure. I mean, liquid vitamin A, you can buy it on Amazon and just follow the established protocols. And all the doctors should be adept at treating it. At the wellness company, we have home emergency kits. We have pediatric kits, We've adult kits to have some antibiotics, some corticosteroids on hand, pre-prescribed. Just be ready. You know, it we are in a situation where there is now tremendous reluctance on vaccination. There's a paper in JAMA recently by Vesuvian and colleagues reporting that 60% of young parents having children are not following the full vaccine schedule.
Well, with it coming back to, you know, a million vaccines for your kid, maybe that's a good thing that they're asking. It's interesting, I had to bring my kids to a new pediatrician when we moved into Nashville and I called and they had just changed to accept alternate vaccine scheduled kids from the full. They're like, oh, this just recently changed. Because I asked them, will you take kids that are just on a different schedule. And so I think things are changing. Because of you, because of R.F.K.
Jr., Trump, all these things, at least we're all talking about, it's not perfect. But it is sad that these federal judges did that. Shame on them. I shouldn't say shame on them, that's not nice, but I will pray for them because they just don't know. They don' know what we see, like the vaccine injury. And honestly, doctors that I'm sure you talk to and doctors I talk too, they don''t see it either. Well remember, most doctors are very remote from vaccines. Very remote. Look at typical surgeons, surgical specialties.
all the medical, adult specialists. They're very far away from vaccines. Vaccines essentially get put on a government schedule and they're given by nurses or pharmacists. I think the people who need to wake up are the nurses and pharmacist. There's been way too much focus on doctors. When I talk to doctors, I say, listen, i'm an orthopedic surgeon. i have nothing to do with this. And I don't like what I'm hearing. But this is really down to the nurses and the pharmacists. They're the ones responsible for informed consent.
And I've talked to Del Bigtree at the high wire on this, and his singular focus is on pounding the doctors. I said, Del, that's not going to do it. We got to pivot. You've got a pivot that the nurse's have to get a sense of what's going on here. If there was tremendous resistance to doing this full schedule at that delivery level, it'd be a different bogging. That makes sense. Well, thank you so much for your time. I'm glad I just spotted you and you had time for a few rapid-fire questions. What is your favorite biohack that actually works?
Nasal sprays and gargles. Okay, here we go. Twice a day. It doesn't matter if it's saline, if its xylitol-based like clear and spray, iodine- based. Co-Fix Rx and Betadine, but a daily nasal spray and gargle. I'm going to do it today when I get to my hotel room because it will run a lot of people so I don't get sick. Yeah, that's a good one. So if you could eliminate one toxin today from the world, what would it be? Messenger RNA vaccines. That's good. No one said that before. It's too big. Too big, it's way bigger than anything else.
And then last one, one word only to leave with our audience for the week. Be bold. Yes, that's technically true. And relentless forever. Yes. Check out, listen, for appointments, petermaccullamd.com, that'll get you in and will get your foreign appointment in Dallas or remotely by telemedicine. For McCullough Foundation, it's mccullaffnd.org that supports all of our work in Washington and extensive work that McCollough foundation is doing. Wellness company, a lot of people are gonna want kits there.
I'm the chief scientific officer. That's twc.health forward slash focal points. So that will gets you into the system with discounts. for all the goods and services. Of course, America Out Loud Talk News, McCullough Report, and then finally, thefocalpoints.com for the substacks. So you can tell I'm on multiple stations. You'll find them. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
