Are You Low In Energy?

Exhausting mornings, afternoon sleepiness, and no motivation. That is what a lack of energy does to us.

Energy is our body’s currency. It needs energy to allow us to move, focus, and even heal.

Knowing the right way to help our bodies feel energized is extremely difficult. There is so much information out there, and then we use cups and cups of coffee to try to read and understand it.

Well, during the Mitochondrial Energy Summit 2.0, more than 40 experts came together to provide you with information about how to keep your mitochondria healthy and boost your energy.

This blog is focused on one specific talk from the Mitochondrial Energy Summit 2.0 between mitochondrial expert, Laura Frontiero, FNP-BC, and America’s Healthy Heart Doctor, Joel Kahn, MD, FACC.

They believe that you should take the steps you need in your health journey to prevent fatigue and chronic diseases from ruining your life.

In this video, they discuss ways to power your mighty mitochondria.

This blog will allow you to understand some key points of that video.

Traditional Ways to Boost your Energy

Finding a fast fix to your low energy is incredibly appealing. We want instant solutions to our problems, but quick and fast solutions might not solve your problems.

As Dr. Kahn says, “You can’t shortcut everything.”

It is important to know that simple, daily things can help keep your energy up. These include:
· Exercise
· Proper Sleep
· Healthy Diet
· Stress Management

One key report told us that our mitochondria benefit from exercise. They have more activity, which provides us more energy.

Dr. Kahn also informs us that sleep is needed to repair the daily damage to our body so our mitochondria can recover. Limiting stress and eating a healthy diet both reduce inflammation. That will also limit inflammatory damage to our cells and mitochondria.

There are so many more reasons why these traditional methods can help you, and you can find out more at the Mitochondrial Energy Summit 2.0.

But what if you are trying these, and you are still tired?

America’s Healthy Heart Doctor’s Supplement to Low Energy: xtendLife

What happens when you are trying to do everything right, but you are still tired?

You might need to supplement your diet, and Dr. Kahn has provided us with some excellent recommendations.

Dr. Kahn emphasizes our heart health is key to us living a long life, and he says that mitochondria are the key to having a healthy heart. Nutritional support is a key way to improving your heart health, but you need to be picky.

Dr. Kahn says, “There are thousands of supplements out there… I don’t think all of them have science. I don’t think all of them have quality. I think some of them have toxic additives you should be concerned about.”

This is true. The FDA does not currently regulate supplements. So, it is especially important that you find safe, effective supplements recommended by experts in the fields.

Dr. Kahn has done the research for you, and he found one company that ensures the quality of the supplements that they produce.

This company, from New Zealand, is called xtendLife. In this interview, he discusses the qualities and what supplement is right for you. For now, let’s talk about what Dr. Kahn recommends you look for in supplements.

What Should Be in Helpful Energy Supplements?

Helpful Energy Supplements magnesium

There are several key nutrients and minerals that are helpful, and Dr. Kahn helps us understand what we should look for in the supplements.

One key dietary supplement is magnesium, according to Dr. Kahn. It has to be clean and sourced well. Dr. Kahn found out that xtentLife’s magnesium is “marine magnesium right from the ocean.”

He continues, “Magnesium plus potassium can really, really support healthy blood pressure. It is really important to do because 18 million people in the world die of blood pressure problems.”

What Dr. Kahn talks a lot about is supplementing your diet with powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants, according to the Mayo Clinic protect your cells from damage. Limiting the damage to your cells can improve your energy as your body does not need to spend the energy to heal them.

One thing in that supplement is called “Tocotrienols”. It is a form of Vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant. What xtendLife did was found a plant that has the most active form of Vitamin E. That plant is called annatto.

Another strong antioxidant is Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract. “Sea Buckthorn is one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world,” says Dr. Kahn.

One other energy supporter is Omega 7. Dr. Kahn stated, “Omega 7 is an anti-inflammatory powerhouse. It lowers LDL cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol.” It has also been shown to lower blood sugar, improve insulin resistance and reduce inflammation. You can learn more from this clinical study.

Dr. Kahn and Laura Frontiero discussed several more scientifically studied supplements that can improve your heart health and energy. These include:
· Vitamin K2
· Vitamin D3
· Rutin
· Nattozimes Protease
· New Zealand Blackcurrant Extract

In summary, there are so many things you can do to support your energy levels and health. It is key to ensure that you exercise, get good sleep, eat healthy, and manage your stress. It is also good to know that there are excellent supplements out there that are supported by America’s Healthy Heart Doc, Dr. Kahn.

Make sure you check out their interview and the Mitochondrial Energy Summit 2.0 to learn how to best improve your energy levels and overall health.

Wow, I’m genuinely buzzed 🚀 (and not just from my usual cups of coffee ☕) about the insights shared in the Mitochondrial Energy Summit 2.0! Hearing about the potential of simple, daily habits like exercise 🏃, proper sleep 😴, a healthy diet 🥗, and stress management 🧘‍♂️ to boost our mitochondria and, by extension, our energy levels, is incredibly empowering.

But what really caught my attention was Dr. Kahn’s dive into supplements during his talk. As someone always on the lookout for evidence-based ways to enhance my health, the discussion on finding the right supplements, like magnesium and powerful antioxidants, was super informative. The shoutout to xtendLife’s high-quality, marine-sourced magnesium and their focus on clean, effective ingredients like Tocotrienols and Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract got me thinking about giving my own supplement routine a much-needed overhaul 🤔.
I mean, who knew that something as specific as Omega 7 could be such a game-changer for inflammation and heart health? 🤯 It’s discussions like these that highlight how nuanced and personalized health optimization can be.

Of course, I’m keeping in mind that while supplements can play a role in supporting our health, they’re just one piece of the puzzle. The reminder that there’s no shortcut to health, and the importance of foundational practices like diet and exercise, resonates with me. It’s all about finding that balance and what works for your body.

I’m eagerly looking forward to diving deeper into the Summit’s content 🌟 and continuing to learn from top experts in the field. There’s always something new to discover about how we can support our mighty mitochondria and, as a result, fuel our bodies for a vibrant, energetic life.

To everyone out there reading this, let’s keep pushing forward, learning, and applying these insights to our lives. And remember, whether it’s through diet, exercise, stress management, or supplements, taking steps toward better health is always a move in the right direction 💪. Let’s catch that energy wave 🌊 and ride it to our best selves!
