<p>Dr. Wakely was born and raised in Maine. He moved to Washington where he pursued a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University. His practice is dedicated to helping patients with complex chronic illnesses who have typically seen between 11 and 17 physicians before arriving at his practice. His specialties are vector-borne illnesses (Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, etc.), pain, environmental medicine and autism spectrum disorders. He uses a wide variety of tools including homeopathics, antigen therapies, drainage, injections, herbs, peptides and pharmaceuticals. He is a member of AAEM, ACAM and IPS. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, strength training, reading and watching the Boston Red Sox.</p>
