Fear is a fundamental and natural emotional response to perceived threats or dangers. It serves as a protective mechanism that prepares an individual to react appropriately in potentially hazardous situations. When confronted with fear-inducing stimuli, the body undergoes a series of physiological changes, including increased heart rate, heightened alertness, and the release of stress hormones like adrenaline. These responses collectively prepare the body for a "fight or flight" response, where the individual is either ready to confront the threat or escape from it.
