Heart Palpitations

Heart palpitations are the sensation of feeling the heart beating rapidly, irregularly, or forcefully. They may manifest as a pounding, fluttering, or racing sensation in the chest and are often felt during periods of rest or physical activity. While heart palpitations can be benign and temporary, they can also be indicative of an underlying medical condition or heightened emotional states, such as anxiety or stress. Common causes of heart palpitations include caffeine intake, alcohol consumption, certain medications, and hormonal changes. In some cases, heart palpitations may be a symptom of arrhythmias or other heart-related issues that require medical evaluation and management.
