Introduction and Speaker Background 0:00
Welcome to the practice Upgrade Summit. Our guest speaker right now has lectured with some of the world's greatest health and wellness advocates. He holds two co patents as an inventor and has formulated over 200 nutritional products. He's a researcher and a consultant for several nutritional and laser companies. He's got a doctor of chiropractic, degree from Palmer. He's got a BA degree in humanities from the New life. New Life College of California. He's got a degree in nutrition. He's got a fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
Degree is a diplomat in the International College of Applied Kinesiology. This guy knows his stuff. His postgraduate work includes motion palpation, garden state technique, ENT activator, spinal biomechanics, applied kinesiology, acupuncture, granular visceral manipulation, bio cranial technique, spinal rehab. I could go on and on, but this is a true Renaissance healer and perhaps one of the great fathers and pioneers of wellness practice. Please help me welcome Doctor John Broomhall. Doctor Broomhall, welcome aboard.
Thank you sir. I admired you for a long time as well. Well, you're very kind, so you're very kind. Doctor Broomhall. Most doctors who practice chiropractic have the flavor of wellness. And what they do just by the very virtue of understanding the innate principle. But you've taken it to a much greater place. You have explored six areas of wellness that you believe are integral to each patient, getting the most they can out of each chiropractic experience. Could you spend a few minutes talking about your six steps?
Yeah, I think it'd be good to actually tell this got started. I was, in fact, I just completed a book on miracles. There's 30 authors in and we all wrote a chapter on the miracles happen in our life. And the first one I talked about is my own. I was studying to be a dentist. I was down here in the pre work in Phoenix, Arizona, and I went out to the desert to do a little hiking round out. There had been over and didn't get back up and literally went useless from the waist down and spasm from the waist up.
And I'd been in a car wreck two years earlier and had gone to get medical care, and I didn't know anything about chiropractic at the time, and they gave me painkillers, muscle axons, you know, in a few months I was okay. I never did feel as good as I did before of a little bit. And I actually asked them one time, where should I see your chiropractic? And they said, oh, no, one of those guys didn't break your neck. Well, of course they want my neck broken. So I didn't go. But now, two years later, they're carrying me from room to room.
I'm in pain. And I think, well, I'm having a dentist that I can't even stand up straight. So again, medically, they say, well, now you may need exploratory surgery. Amen. Back in the 60s, those are pretty scary words, right? You scared? You're now, but really scary them. And I had a cousin a lot bigger and smarter. Me and he Caribbean chiropractor and, I walked out, and this doctor was right here. And Janet, Arizona, and, he said, you need better practices. You ordered chiropractic and you manatee, to do what chiropractic did for you.
I said, no, I'm gonna be a dentist. No you're not. He said, you need to pay back. And so, gosh, I didn't I hadn't thought about anything like that. I wouldn't talk to my dad. He says, well, son, those guys are underdogs. I really love chiropractors. And in fact, we built an office for one. And, my dad's building contractor, he said, I really want you to be a real doctor. So I went and talked to the doctor that treated me, says, you know, I am an underdog, which is I cry on the way to the bank every day about how being underdog I am, all the people I help, and the money takes care of itself.
So literally, I sent my, grades in to the Palmer College and they say, we like you. We like straight A's.
The Origin of the Six Steps to Wellness 3:43
Come on down. So we went to Palmer College just before we did. You know, I had had my miracle, but I had another nerve. I got another car wreck again. I didn't have a car to go to school. And so I proposed to my wife for Christmas at that year, and we were going to potential life. We were going to wait for a year. But I said, you got to go with me now we're going to go and buy your car or sell my truck. So we traded in our Mustang, go to our going to school, graduated with honors and came back into practice.
But before we went to another chiropractor and one of the signs went to help me, it was an upper cervical LH McAllen right here in Mesa, Arizona was famous. He practiced till he is 90 some years old. And so he gave my wife her first adjustment for a wedding present, and she had headaches for five years. It went away on the table. So we said, we don't know what this chiropractic stuff is, but it is. We want to learn about it. We want to give others miracles like we have. So we go out to school and when we get out, we come back to Arizona and start a little small town up in northern Arizona.
That's where our patients were from. Our parents were from Miami, and God was kind to me and we got miracle after miracle. I mean, I treated Indian people, had miracles where lady was paralyzed that in a few visits of walking around, she lost her usual bowel control and it all returned at a lady. It had migraines for 14 years. They'd done it. They got to me and, and, and a hysterectomy to try to help her headaches again. It might be going for there. Didn't you know, one adjustment or headaches? One way. I was getting kind of cocky.
So you know how that works. You gotta stop that stuff. And the lady with migraines, they always refer other people with migraines. So they sent this other lady into me. When migraines. And I saw hers spine a lot better in Italy. This would be easy. But she didn't get better. I said, what do you mean you're not better? Everybody gets better here. I hadn't had that. Yeah, it'd been one miracle after another. I don't be in practice a few months. But I came Europe by miracle, and I said, well, that doesn't make any sense.
I follow Doctor Goodheart around. Would you know? Well. And he said that the subluxation could be cause for more than twice. Not just physical, but it could be emotional trauma. There could be nutritional. Com a trauma coming from deformity. The carpet adjuster zero. So I thought, well I don't know anything about nutrition. So I got this book, I read it and it said well for migraines take this nutrition. So I gave that lady the nutrition and now her headaches went away with the adjustment and with nutrition.
So I thought, wow, you know I gotta check nutritional everybody. What's the deal here? I didn't think about that chiropractic school. We didn't have one course in nutrition or I went to school, but neither did my medical doctors and surgeons even now, these days. And so the next patient that came in with the migraines, you heard of migraine suffer in and in that particular person, I'd learned my lesson. I did very careful evaluation, I did I did a k, I did, talk this where I did a lot of different things to help a patient. So I, I started to work.
I gave her the nutrition to. And she didn't get better. I thank God you're trying to tell me something here. So the only thing left of Gounod's world was emotions. And he. I'm a white male at 24 years old. We don't know nothing about emotions. You know, in the 70s, one we didn't even know it was okay to to have an emotion. We knew women and but we were exposed to big boys don't cry and all that. But God, good heart. He had taught us one thing, and that was always ask a patient what was going on in your life when the migraine started with that pain started, and that gives you a clue where to look and what might have triggered emotionally the problem if you're having.
So this particular lady, I said, I'd like you to go back to 15 when these migraines started in our 20s. And she's had them all these years and see what happens. And I checked her muscles first, like we do in Europe, all strong. And then she thought about what happened when she's 15, every muscle in her body went completely weak. She starts sobbing and I'm thinking, I don't want to do this anymore. This sucks, right? But I said, okay, I know one technique. I didn't tell her this, but in my mind you have to think about.
And then you reach up and you touch the forehead, right? You recover and and it's rudimentary acupuncture and blood vascular point or the cranium and the brain. So I had her touch that she slowed down playing the muscles got stronger again. I said, well, think about it again. Took us 5 or 6 times. We're thinking about it and resetting the circuitry. And the migraine was gone. She would not crying anymore. And she said, I just feel better than I felt since this happened to me. 15 what happened? And so I've been a lifetime going back.
Not one of those other bachelors degree in the emotional realm there. When I was in college, I wanted to know more about psychology and psychiatry. Since that time, we've developed many techniques. We've taken other people's techniques, like Scott Walker, who's a genius in that world All the Good Heart did, and and a lot of authors that I quote in my, my chapter in the book miracles that I have followed around. And so we learned that everybody needs to be structurally corrected, nutritionally corrected and emotional.
We have reprograming because everything that's ever happened to us before we're born, even in the womb. If you read some of the work there, these babies are and they're like in a hypnotic trance and everything that happens on the outside, they take it internally. A whole nother story. We don't have time for today, but we have learned that we really watch everything that's happened in people emotionally. Then we got more and more miracles. But I learned a lady came in to me doing all that. She was doing better.
She was really obese and she had a hard time losing weight. You couldn't control her diet. And then she went through a divorce. Well, after a divorce, she lost about 30 or 40 pounds. I said, okay, what are we doing different now? And she said, I was all stressed out because of the divorce. And I went to this doctor, check me for allergies. I should really how they do. And so they said the way they did it. And then I'm staying off the $3. We're actually doing this 3,040 pound. Just melt it off of me.
So then we added allergies and sensitivities to our program. And then I found out two of the electromagnetics when you and I were going to school. There's no such thing as a computer, much less a cell phone and all that kind of stuff. Right? There was paper phones, right? I mean, there was this complete different world. Now, all these electromagnetics are massive. People are. So I wish I could just take a cell phone, put in an energy field or computer, and the people would go weak all over. So we learned to use a multiple or magnet.
We used protection that goes on the cell phone. Electromagnetics came the big deal. And then I started reading and studying. In fact, here it here in town we have a group that's both medical doctors, chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopath. It's a major home whole empathic group. And they call me a pathogenic learner is every time I get I tell them what else I learned. And so I treat it. A lot of those people too. It's really fun miracles with them. But they sent me a lot of patients. About a third of my referrals came from medical doctors, which I've had other chiropractors say they never get a referral.
The very first they send in their mother in law because they don't like her anyway. But you help her right? And she gets better. So then they send one of their kids and they get better, and then they're like, then finally they come in. So once you help them, they refer a lot of people. And then literally I had hundreds of patients referred to me from there. And then my daughter in law, my my other center orthopedic surgeon, so he went to medical school. He like that part of the world, my second center chiropractor, third son, dentist and and the wife of a doctor.
Ian is a physical therapist, so she got her master's degree at the University of Utah. But she finished her doctorate. Why? She was working in males. And she told male she and you really complicated cases. You they hired her right out of school. They just don't do it. She's very, very brilliant. So they hired her and she gets really complicated patients. And you say, well, I take them apart as I can and I refer them to my father. He is an acupuncturist, which I am. And so they said yes. And we got miracle after miracle.
I mean, they really had a good facility out there. Amazing work that they did was crazy good. So we could take all that information, then apply our six steps structured nutrition, emotions, electromagnetic energy and sensitivities. But now we learned toxicities were horrible in people. So we started doing detox programs. So we do fast. We do very fast. We we do intermittent fasting. We do all kinds of cranial sacral adjusting, visual manipulation. That was another one of my full time studies. In chiropractic, we didn't learn much about the cranial sacral much.
You took out deep net. So I followed him around and good heart around and gone see around and we and and, Leaf you're. And so I just tried to learn everything I can learn from all these geniuses you and I have known our whole lives.
Expanding the Six Steps: Structure, Nutrition, Emotions, and More 12:28
And it was just so fun. But I just don't like to see. And I'm just not a real good loser. Doctor in church one time, and I said, if you show me a good loser, I'll show you a loser. Oh, that's pretty, I said, well, I don't teach my I teach my boys to play basketball. At two years old, we come to walk, shoot a basket and shoot a guy so two years old and help somebody. They are very good at that. But I taught them, if you don't mind, lose you, you're going to lose. So when you go in there, no matter what you're doing, when you see a patient or you you are playing a basketball game, you go to win.
Now you be a good sport no matter what happens. So I tried to be a good sport, but also the big winners now are winners and and they could be a general in somebody's army or, or they're certainly great physicians and big family band. And it's, been a real joy to see my family grow up in this medical chiropractic world. Do. And some people say, weren't you disappointed when you once, became a surgeon instead of a chiropractor? I said, no, I'm only used dream not night. It's important that we inspire our children to follow their dream.
And, I just I just saw a patient just a minute ago, and this guy was referred to me by his father, who was an attorney, and he had migraines, and they had, like, four different drugs, you know, a drug to cover up the drug and migraines. And, and he had, burning gastroesophageal problem. And so they had him on H2 blockers. And I said that you really want to get better. Yes. I said, okay, I can't take you off drugs, that hopefully you can take yourself off some of these things that you no longer need them.
So we changed his diet, his spine, his perineum is organ and, we, we done acupuncture during. We did, what? Called the ASA allergy sensitivity test. Identify the foods you are allergic to and probably most of them are having following a, a diet that is not a diet to lose weight. It's a diet to be healthy. We eat only healthy things. Don't eat things that are not healthy. So we've gone all that within. We want to be training three weeks and, yeah, we have a headache in two weeks. No migraines. So it's and he's only 40 years old.
He was on the, I think four different kinds of drugs, including the H2 blocker. But he said, you know, I only had one time I had a gastroesophageal problem at all. And I just did what you said. I drank some water and I went back and. Right, okay, what did I what did I get carried away with? But what I've found is almost everything has an answer. But you've got to look. You've got to ask the right questions. Give them an answer. And what we found with our six Steps to Wellness is it could be a structural problem, but it could be structural or nutritional or it could be nutritional.
And maybe the structure is pretty good, but they have a whole promotion up in of. And that young girl that I said had the migraines when I had to think about it and we go over, I said, do you mind sharing what's happened? You have 50 and she was molested as sexually by a family member, and so had her sisters and cousins. And so we were able to see all of them, and all of them were able to improve and not have migraines anymore, but also their whole life improved because when people are violated, they think somehow it's their fault.
You've seen that in your practice. And so we have to let them reprogram to where they can be who God intended it to be, and not be held hostage to some horrible event that was no fault of their own. So that's the six steps. What other doctor would you let me go? Now, first of all, thank you so much. In just a few minutes, you basically outlined everything anyone would need to know, both to be an extraordinary healer and an extraordinary patient, because we all have to take care of ourselves as well.
And, you look so fit and vital. It's quite clear that, you're following your own recommendations. Now, I know that you have an expertise in, in, in, in energy, in laser and and using laser in helping patients. Tell us how you apply that, because you haven't really mentioned too much about that. Yeah. In in doing the six steps structure is the big part of the six steps. So we adjust the spine. We also adjust the cranium, the cranium sacral mechanism, the cranial bones that can move microscopically.
So I studied all was the cranial. There is actually a surgeon involved and everything that fader to teach us out there. And then I studied under a Jean-Pierre Borel from France. Evaluating how the organs can cause the spine to come out of place. So we learn how to evaluate. Sometimes the liver can be a major problem in the body, and it has over 500 functions. But if you detoxify it nutritionally and you adjust the vertebrae to go to it. But what if it's stuck in place? Everything moves. We know the heart moves. Lub dub dub dub dub dub.
But hey, the liver moves three dimensionally. The hearts move in three dimensionally. Everything has to move like a motion is there. So everything's moving in the body, the blood supply, the lymphatics. And when they don't move, you're in trouble. So we learned how to use a laser to literally laser like an acupuncture point. And, you know, there's 12 meridians, right? Paired means there's one on the right and there's one on the left. You know, this is where there's a heart meridian or a lung meridian or or bladder meridian that starts to the eye, goes all the way down.
So all these different meridians are like highways of energy. And we have freeways, and we need to laugh about California, all those crazy freeways. You know, we have that in Arizona now. And when you have your most accidents is on the on ramp and the off ramp. So we check what's called many points beginning and end points for Meridian. We also check meridian points. And the very point like here is a miracle point for headaches, gastrointestinal problems. Here's elbow problems. And this point right in the top.
We have got a point of 100 condition. So if you stick a needle in there or laser it, you turn on that part of the body which was shut down. So we use laser a lot of different ways. If the if the liver is congested, let's say you get it, you budget soon. So you watch as we find out the SDOT and the GP2 are very high. They're very toxic. So even when we give them nutrition that I have developed to detoxify the liver. But then we'll take the laser and literally laser right over the top of the liver.
And it helps it to mobilize. When we look at lasers, they are different colors. Infrared, which you cannot see, penetrates deep all the way to the bone. Red penetrates a little bit, and it's a modulator. It literally is something hyper. And the white things are down to normal. But hypo it takes it up to normal. But then Violet clears out emotions and then the green literally helps to release, muscular and binding and stuff. So I use different colors and different lasers to get a different job done.
So we would use it here mobilizing organ. We would use it to reset an acupuncture point. A laser actually helps take away pain. It helps to increase, the reproductive system in the body if it gets toxins in it, or even translation and in transcription in the in the DNA can get messed up. And by lasering is that it helps, right. The transcription of when the when DNA opens up getting ready to make a new DNA. Or if you laser the tissues in that area, it helps them to regenerate. So there's almost no limit on what you can do.
And to make sure we clarify something you and I know maybe our listeners might not as a chiropractor, as a nutritionist, as your acupuncturist, I don't treat disease. We treat diseases. When people have they have some pain. It's not comfortable anymore. But we we chased down the car. So I say DC is doctor but we look for the cause. And I just said there can be six causes of a subjugation and dysfunction. It can be the other side of place. It can be the fifth lumbar at a place. It can be two vertebrae stuck together.
It can be the liver stuck, not moving in place. It can be one can judge it. And, I've had the unfortunate experience of treating a lot of people with cancer, and I don't treat cancer now. They tried to take my license from me twice. Not my the medical chiropractic with the medical board came after me because they had diagnosed a person with cancer. They came to me and they got well. The patient said I quote unquote cured me. Cancer, you know, or anybody can cure itself. So they subpoenaed my records and, found out I didn't treat the cancer.
I treated the person. They said they had cancer, too. The medical doctor told them so, and I put that they were under medical care for the cancer, but they had neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain. I was treating that. So they couldn't do anything to me because I didn't claim Jimmy Carter says it. Correct. No. Accept no credit and take no blame. And that's God's everything in God's will. Right. And so my job is to unwind the body to release any interference. And we were taught in chiropractic school.
The body needs no, no, it just needs no interference. And we found that could be structural interference. Electromagnetic interference. So it comes in six steps. So we identify all six interferences and we leave them. And the laser was one of the major things that we did with that in in freeing up areas and having rejuvenation. And it's actually cleared, for pain particularly helping in carpal tunnel to heal and tarsal tunnel, those type of thing. So we use it for all those different things. And part of our class we teach is how to use a laser.
In fact, I think we made an offer to your group that they want a laser. We will get $100 off for listening to this class. They can do that. Plus, there's a free video that we have available to them to where they can watch that video, and it shows all the different things you can do with laser to help yourselves.
Laser Therapy, Energy Work, and Advanced Evaluation 22:08
I got some some home home study. It's just all showed out in picture form where to put it and how to use it. So we have very simple ones. First one I bought was just a little one like this with, 2020, no watch for $13,000. Now I have one that's, only only about this tall. Right here is what you hold in your hand. It's only $2,500. So, before the discount, and it's something I don't go anywhere with. I keep it in my in my briefcase when I travel on the plane of having people on the plane, when they say, is there a doctor important at all? No.
Please. No. You know, I've had to respond because there was no real doctor on there is that you have an actual doctor there. So that's kind of a joke between my, my boys. And then you know that. But I do know there's my, my surgeons, and my dental son can hardly wait to get you, their dad and your brother get adjusted so we figure to them early on in their years. So I think that probably covers the laser pretty good. But one thing I might tell you is a little more complicated, but to show you how many different things you can do to help yourself when you.
When we get older, I've had a lot of people that get dizzy and they fall. I mean, you can have peripheral neuropathy until your feet you can fall, but a lot of times it's just disorientation in the cranial nerves. And we have 12 cranial nerves. And those cranial nerves all have a different job. So I'm going to TMJ. Some of the sensory feeling all those different things work. So we actually one thing that we have found I can do it pretty simply to write a laser down. And what I did and I left my my green offers.
But we can have the body tell us what the problem is. So kinesiology is so cool, right? So we just have body muscle out. Here's a good muscle test, not a specific one. Or I could check one specific muscle like characterized major quick. But a group test is the best way. And with our strong you put a environment, in their mouth or in their energy field and it makes you strong. You know, it's good for if we put it in their energy. If you like. You you sugar, everybody goes weak. Well, you can do this with the body utilizing laser.
So let's just say they see what I get. Dizzy is. So when you get dizzy when I stand up, that's what you get dizzy when you stand up first. That your adrenal gland. Because the adrenal gland neutralizes stress. And who is not under stress in this day. Right. And you only have so much blood supply in the body. So the blood doesn't have to constrict. Just send the blood back to the head when you're lying down and you stand up. And if they don't you get dizzy. So we can check a muscle and just stretch it.
If that muscle gets weak from stretching, it should get stronger because the adrenal puts out nutrition to the body hormones and it literally turns on the adrenal stronger so they output more whatever the body needs, whether it's cortisone and cortisol or adrenaline, whatever it is. But if they get weak, it means they're not responding right. So we can take some of the nutrition I developed, like off the adrenal, it has not only adrenal it, but all the services that get under stress and go back to putting the products in the immune system.
When you get under stress, your immune system shuts down. So by taking that is like 20 different things in it that synergistically turn those adrenals back on naked, stretch the money and they stay strong. They don't weak anymore. But once I've done that, I have a muscle to stay strong. I say turn your head to the right and I guess the muscle, if they get weak when I turn it to the right, that's not supposed to happen. You can literally then laser the area of causing the problem. Now, interestingly enough, I'm going to really give you guys a little bit of advanced technique on your to get the video, please, please.
But we can stack that information. So in other words, when they look to the right you get weak. I can tap the thymus band right here to that. Then that will work right here. And when I tap that then that will temporarily go strong. And then I can have him turned the other way. If they get weak too, I tap that in. If I have a look up into the right and they get weak, I tap that and let's say they let them do right. They're not weak. I have look their eyes level and they get weak. That's a specific cranial nerve.
I have that information here. Then what I'm all through. I literally laser the fibers where we tapped all that. Yeah, I go specifically to the cranial nerves, which all live in the brainstem. We'll laser that brainstem area. And if it's a it's a frontal memory type problem here I would laser the frontal area of the brain. And we would we teach all this to our doctors. So if you go to a remote trained doctor remote certified then they have to pass all this stuff off to them. They can do it. And we're able to help people that nobody else is able to help a lot of times because they just look at one thing, they just adjust the spine or they just give you nutrition, which is really good.
All those are good. I've learned a lot of people need all six, or at least part of part of the sex to really get better and to stay better. And because we're never chasing a symptom, we're treating the cause of the problem. I would laser that area. Then I would give them nutrition that made it stronger, like I did all the nutrition on the brain. It helps people not get Alzheimer's and or have cognitive dissonance. As we get older, it's harder to remember we're at that stage. We were joking a minute about how old or how long we've been doing this.
173 actually, I don't look 73. I'm really not 773 any anymore because I've done things to make me not 73. And then right now I actually lecture with a medical doctor. Now this guy's amazing. You've got to get him on your program. Doctor Mark Harris is my election partner. He graduated from high school at seven. Before your college degree at nine. Really? And he says medical degree is naturopath degree in three days. Rewarded before age 12. Birthday. And, my, my doctor, daughter in law said that's impossible.
Is it for a real person? Yeah. This guy's not from this planet. I have no idea what, but he remembers everything is red since he three years old, and he can regurgitate it without provocation. Just ask him a question in there. So you can imagine he's but five months in advance to be able to even get in the same. He tells me he's going to quit next year, and people around the world are not going like that. Like he can train somebody to do at least what he does. But because I'm getting older and I don't want to get older, I mean, I don't necessarily want to live to be 100.
I want to feel like I'm 20 until I die. So I want to die very young age and and a long time away from now. So that's my goal is to be healthy. So we actually use biological. Our graph which increases our own stem cells in the body. So doctor is being an M.D. and an indie. You can order those. And we teach people how to evaluate if they need things like that. And so he's treating things like Parkinson's and ALS, multiple sclerosis and the cognitive dissonance in all decisions, all the types of conditions that just really get to be hopeless.
I've helped many, many, many people. Multiple sclerosis. But ALS, I want to treat a couple of marriages. So I did not have the answer for. But with the biological allograft injections, besides all the other things we do. And Doctor Harris is a grandmaster by doc, so he does your justice. The guys are laser the nutrition you and now he provides nutrition to. And because he reads the literature every day in three languages, he reads Russian, German and English. Then we make this nutrition according to all the current literature around the world.
So we know what type of nutrition it takes, what mixture it comes
Chiropractic Philosophy, Ethics, and the Future of the Profession 29:38
in, what you synergistically put with, or if it needs to stand alone. Whether you take before meal, zinc should be taken before meal. Magnesium be taken with meal anything. Since 2000. Give it magnesium. Right. So I mean we just all these things that we learn put together and correlated. He, you know, I, go around teaching other doctors and other, like, patients, things to do themselves. So I guess you push a button, I keep going, don't I think, Doctor Brimmer, you've been so immensely generous, and I appreciate so much what you're doing and what you continue to do.
I have one final question for you. And it's something that I think you're eminently qualified to, to address. Our profession is has a lot of turmoil. It always has. There's always been people thinking one way, people thinking another way. But ultimately, the innate principle is what rises to the forefront. You have a special appreciation for structure amongst all the other things that you do, because you understand the neurological component of health. What do you believe is necessary for chiropractic to evolve to the place that it really needs to be?
What do you see coming down the pike for our profession? I reflected on that for a lot of years because when I went to chiropractic school, all I knew was, you just met. And that's what gave me my miracle. And then my wife got her adjustment, and that gave us her miracle. But unfortunately, I lost her 12 years ago. And that was because the government did atomic weapon testing after World War two. We were both born in 47, so we are postwar babies. You're telling me Warren and the mop up scene, and they bathed her in radiation for 11 years and it mutated or gene.
So we knew nothing of. I didn't know that anything about genetics or anything like that until she wound up with lung cancer at 60 years old. And so we did every trick in the book we knew, and we reversed the cancer, studying genetics, reading the genes and everything like that. And I got this when I got in the gene study at that time. But there was two medical mistakes that took her life anyway. It was like God said, you don't get to keep her. You know, it's too easy for you. You got to learn to get along without her because she did.
She was just one of those people that everything was done all the time, didn't do anything to get it done. So she's, my seven children's mother and I do have twins. Are nine years old or two, so I know the nine children, but, What I see and saw and all this time, you learn that when you get up against a wall, you can't just adjust somebody with cancer and have them get well. I mean, it can happen, but you can't predict it. So with that, you have to do everything in the world, the right nutrition and maybe even even some chemo.
We did what's called IPT insulin potato gene therapy where you find a non chemo that knocked out the cancer. So you're doing well but you do it down to 10%. You mix it with the insulin because the cancers want sugar. So they suck the insulin in there and it and then with the exposure there and it kills off there. Plus we did heavy duty nutrition. So what does this do with answering your question. Everything we need to do whatever it takes to get a patient better as long as it's legal. Why would a chiropractor limit himself to adjusting his spine if a toxic liver cell affects the spine?
And I found in her case, when the cancer would go to a new place, she would develop a new pain. And when we got the cancer reversed, which it was stage four when we found it in the MDS that she presents that it's impossible to reverse it at the level it's at. But we did. The pain would go away when they made that medical mistake and just destroyed her liver. They started coming back in different areas and if you think that emotions don't got subluxation, you just kind of look into it. If you think toxicities don't cause socialization.
So all those interferences are all real. We don't want to limit ourselves. We want to do what we do and keep it legal, ethical and moral. And if it's legal, ethical and moral, why wouldn't I want to do that as a doctor patient, especially if we were taught in competitive school? The body needs no help. It just needs no interference. So what do you mean by that? Well, the egg and the sperm got together in bliss and formed this beautiful child. So if nobody had to tell the egg and sperm to get together and form from the mulberry.
I see this beautiful child nine months later. Why do we have to tell her what to do when it's more? It's 30 doesn't need enough vaccination poison in it. Some vaccinations. But I'm not anti-vaccine. I'm anti-vaccination unless I absolutely need it, I. I haven't had anything for years. And you the last time I had a flu shot was my first year in chiropractic school. When I didn't know any better, I thought I was going to die from that thing. That was 50 years ago. I never had another one. We didn't go to Africa where there was malaria, so we had some shots to prevent from getting malaria.
I've seen patients with that is patched up curves all the time. So I want to do the right thing for myself. But when I was a kid growing up, the recommendation was 10 to 14 shots for childhood vaccination. Now in some states it's over 90. Okay. So we can take even a good thing and turn it into insanity. But I think we have to decide what's good. And I want to be able to decide for myself. I don't want you to tell me what to do. I don't need to try to tell you what to do. We have that going on right now.
We have people trying to control the world at all cost. And, so I don't think chiropractors should control each other. The state law is. And why wouldn't we want somebody to do injections if they want to do injections or hire somebody to use in the office or to do therapies? I mean, there's therapies that really work, like laser like, ultrasound like motors. They're like PML. They work. What? Why would I not want to use it? It helps to regenerate. So that's a long answer. But yeah. So it's a wonderful answer.
Doctor John's a wonderful answer because the your reputation is of being expansive in your thought and, abundant in your consideration of what a patient's best interest might be. And certainly everything you've said here today proves that out. You are a tremendous treasure in our profession. Thank you so much for this interview. I, I hope this is the start of something big, because I would love to have you back to explore. You opened so many areas of conversation, and we only have just this precious one hour.
