Will Sylvie Beljanski It's always such an honor and pleasure to have you and to chat with you. You're you're you're such a a warrior when it comes to bringing out information in regards to what we need to do to to battle this, this disease, you know, this, the cancer. So thank you so much for for spending some time with me today. thank you for having me. I'm really, really delighted. So there are a couple of topics that that I've really wanted us to, to, to discuss. I mean, one is that a lot of people out there that are battling cancer and they're, they're kind of new stepping into this integrative space.
Yeah, we're using different tools to, you know, things like vitamin C and, you know, all all these different tools that are out there. They sometimes don't recognize the battles that people have gone through. prior to in order to be able to make this kind of information available and to make this research available because, you know, it, it is not very popular. from, you know, the powers that be sort of say, you know, because it sometimes interferes financially with, you know, to bring these kind of this kind of information out.
and obviously your, your father was, was one of those that, really fought hard to bring good science out of using safe, effective medicine. and, and it wasn't that popular. And there's sacrifices that were made. do you mind just kind of give people a little bit of an understanding, a little taste of, what he went through, you know, so that we now have these powerful tools that that are being offered.

So, thank you for this opportunity to to speak about my father. But indeed, you are absolutely right. I mean, this is a common thread that affected every, discovery. And, the pioneers in the realm of integrative medicine really, really had a lot of courage. And where we felt sincere in their determination to offer the best and the least toxic to their patients. Because was a case of my father was not isolated. So I have been actually many, many, doctors and scientists to have been persecuted by different states.
I mean, the case of my father, it was a French government. but, there are similar, cases. We we have doctors. American doctors have been persecuted by their boards. A Canadian doctors have been persecuted by both. I mean, if there is, you know, Mexican cancer clinics, it's because it's, it's easier on the other side of the border, but, everywhere pharmaceutical companies, well-established and a powerful and spent a lot of money on lobbying. There is, there is a lot of, money effort, put into shutting down.
And therefore I think that these are just different. And then sometimes it takes years, years, decades to realize that, after all, maybe there was something to do in it. And, at least it doesn't harm. And, it, I mean, it can really help sometimes it takes years to, to consume the way it works. And sometimes even when you have, you know, in the case you was mentioning, I mean, vitamin C, you had, another price. what about the benefits of Nobel Prize, a vitamin C? And even with that, it's an immense kind of controversial.
Yeah, it it is is fascinating how how that is. And you're absolutely right. I mean, sometimes these discoveries that it takes a while to really understand, the importance and, and the, the effect. I mean, I know, like, one of the discoveries of your of your father, we we're now recognizing the impact of what it has on breast cancer stem cells. And you are, using and you now are, you know, doing research in that area to see how you can impact breast cancer stem cells with some of the discoveries that he brought forth.
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, the French government to who pulled my father's discovery said it was of his focus. Now, we saw the Beljanski Foundation that my father passed away 25 years ago. we are working with a great, American academic institutions, and they are publishing about those same plant extracts and explaining the values and mechanism of action and confirming the synergy with chemotherapies and so on. At the time, 25 years ago, the French government said this. This has not been proven. And they shut down the laboratory and they made sure that nobody would touch this research and confirm the results.
So it's very easy to say it has not been confirmed. It's nothing is not valuable and prevent any means of consummation. And in the case, in the case of my father, my father was a PhD in molecular biology. he got his PhD, the Sorbonne. Then he joined the Pasteur Institute in Paris. So it was really, really a very conventional approach. But, he had the idea to look at the environment as a cure for cancer when it was not acceptable. Yet. at the time, it was all about the, mutation of the genome.

the genome was something new. Therefore, it was the new shiny toy. Very exciting. And everything had to everything had to happen at the level of the genome. And, and mutations, random mutations until available. and my father said, well, we you of course, there can be mutations, but, something is may be triggering them to just not happen always just like that for genetic reasons. Mostly we are living in a polluted environment, and this environment affects our DNA. And it's sounds simple nowadays, but in the 80s that was absolutely revolutionary.
And that was, not well received by the French establishment. And my father had the audacity to to publish. And he then went on to find a number of botanicals who are able to act as the opposite of toxins. So botanicals, he found, have the ability to recognize cancer cells specifically target them and prevent their duplication. So in a way, I mean, you can say the proof was in the pudding because the results were there and they the results were proving that my father was right as, critical living.
And that was kind of too much when, he helped former President Francois Mitterrand to survive, to the end of his second term. Oscar Mitterrand was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. The official doctors at the French White House, the Elysee Palace, so that it was not going to finish his second term. Stems were seven years at a time in France, and they said it would mean they advise the politicians that it would be, wise to look at, early elections. But Mitterrand, headmistress, who knew about a good doctor, was using my father's products.
And Mitterrand started to take the products and he was able against all odds, to finish his second term. But just months after Mitterrand finally passed away, they sent, a Swat team to the army, to to head the laboratory to visit my father, raised my mother, raised the all the doctors and, pharmacists who were working with them. then they also told my father to stay overnight in the lab, and they, sprayed some chemicals in the lab and four months later, he was diagnosed with stage four, acute myeloid leukemia.
I mean, and that's not that's not it. Because then, you know, you arrest people after that, you are supposed to give them a day in court. And, most likely, the judge knew my father was sick in. And, he just played the clock until my father passed away without ever having is there in court, just, you know, no noise, no no judgment, no trial, no witness, no explanation. And, I was working as a, as a lawyer at the time, I so that was so unfair. I was so shocked by the ways the French government handled this.
I mean, I that, I took the case to the European Court of Human Rights. The French government had was unable to provide any explanation. And so, therefore, I teach you. And we won a unanimous case. So I did not bring back my father. But, I mean, that shows the fact that it makes us this extensive,

actions that destroy everything. It destroy lives without in the, in illegal background. So just do it. Yeah. And it's outrageous. So here and so people are saying that, you know, there's no research, there's no proof, there's no. And in regards to some of these natural and safe therapies, you know, this is just one example of why there's no research, why there's no proof. Because they destroyed the proof. They destroyed the research. So absurd. And what what happened in the case of my father, which is so unique, is that I was so shocked that I decided to carry on, despite the fact that I'm not a scientist, I, a lawyer by trade, French lawyer.
And, I came here to the States, and there was no political, angst against my name because my father was not known here. So I just used his toxicology studies. Everything I filed with the FDA as new dietary ingredients. And if fine, we're fine. So I'm just fine. There was nothing wrong about those ingredients. So. Yeah, I'm not toxic. It was documented. Everything. you just, you know, shows, how political this is. it's not. It's not grounded in science. You just change the jurisdiction and you have a different outcome.
It's. It's ridiculous. It's totally ridiculous. And and, I think it's also important for Americans to to hear, that this battle is not just going on here in America. It's going on everywhere in the world. Yeah. And you're it's going on everywhere. And I think it's even worse in Europe and than here, I mean, there is the laws here are actually, more better for dietary supplements and selling. Yeah. Because in Europe you have to have, and that credit for everything before you can put anything on the market.
It's not the case here. and, there is a little bit more freedom, I would say here. And I, I agree with that. I mean, coming from Sweden, I know they, the regular, like getting a vitamin C, I've in Sweden is impossible. You just you can't get that in Sweden. So, you've, you've so we, we have a lot of abilities and, and important for people to kind of recognize, that. Yes. Yeah. It is corrupt here as well, but it is more corrupt in other countries that we may not recognize. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. So and here so so this sacrifice just for people understand.
So here you have, you know somebody that that dedicated his life to bring this information out. And because there was such a threat to the powers that be, you know, they they destroyed his lab, destroyed the research. And obviously you're able to to gather some and in whatever form. But I'm sure there was a huge amount lost. And then they they contained him in his lab while they sprayed toxic chemicals in his lab. And then four months later, he was diagnosed with stage four cancer. And then they just delayed the court date so that he could die.
And then, you know, they they were hoping that it would just go away. And does this story. Exactly, exactly. They did not anticipate that as a little lawyer would be so, so shocked that they would carry on. And now, I mean, we have in them a foundation, a not and non-for-profit organization, doing educational events and continuing the research. Of course, there is no more lab like my father's lab, but we have been able to established, number of partnerships with academic institutions. We have been able to work on different cancer, like, we have worked on prostate cancer at Columbia University on Orion and pancreatic cancer.
at Kansas University Medical Center. And we have been able to have, clinical trial, about our these fragments and platelets, at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. So we have been able to to I mean, really to to continue to provide, to the wealth of research that integrative medicine absolutely needs, to to build its credibility. You need to provide mechanism of action. You need to provide the absence of toxicity. You need to provide all those things. Otherwise you know that you are just going to be dismissed as, okay.
You you have some cases, you tell me nice stories about, the so what? That's not science. And we want integrative medicine because it can be powerful, because it goes to the, root of the problems. we want that to be well documented and to be looked upon. serious science. And the challenge is always that, research costs money. And, the financial benefit for pharmaceutical sales in this space, in the oncology space, is much more financially profitable than what would be when you bring natural substances out, you know, into the market.

So there aren't really. Yeah. Because you can't you cannot patent nature. So there is no return on investment. If you tweak nature and get, you know, one synthetic molecule that is not exactly like nature, you can patent it and then you can expect good return. on your investment, but also you are playing with, with fire because a synthetic molecule is not acting like a natural is a natural molecule. And, that's why you see all this toxicity and side effects that comes some sometimes years after a product is put on the market.
You, your realize that, it's okay, it's helping with this, but it is the, destroying another organ. Yeah. And and it is fascinating. I was just at a conference. yeah, actually last week. And just listening, we're going through all the new pharmaceutical drugs that have been accepted for different, different cancers and and just kind of listing the ones that were accepted the last few months. I mean, that in itself took took an hour. And and the, the amount of money and the amount of drugs that are out coming out to the market that are harmful and toxic and that are destroying our immune system.
You know, it's it's such a plethora of it. While we then have to fight so hard, you know, to get something natural and good research on, on natural substances. Like what? What your father was doing. Yeah, unfortunately. I mean, Mona is the name of the game. Surprise, surprise. Yeah. And and one of the, one of the things that he studied that he found was that there are certain substances. So we, we know with, the traditional oncology things like chemotherapy, you know, we know how that destroys our, our, our bone marrow destroys our immune system, our ability to produce, red blood cells.
And so there's all these complex things that come along with that. And in his research, he found. And substances that can really benefit you, to, to support the, the production of white blood cells, red blood cells, you know, which is, which is crucial for our health and our immune system. Indeed, chemotherapies are killing, cancer cells, blood cells, a lot of collateral damage. And, a lot of, so cells that, healthy cells that this target in the process, blood cells and, white blood cells are the core of the immune system, say, I mean, created at the level of the bone marrow, but they need the nutrients that come from from the gets from source.
actually, it's all linked together to make quality of the microbiome and then the ability to create, white blood cells and, chemotherapies, destroying also the lining of the gut. And therefore, there is a very, it's very difficult for the bone marrow to get what it needs to create the new generation of blood cells. my father had the idea to, provide to the bone marrow, exactly what it needs, the nutrients it needs to do its job, which is to create those, white blood cells. And the white blood cells are the core of the immune system.
he they create a lot of, families of leukocytes, let's say, think of them like a little army, which each one having, its own, its own mission, to, to protect against, various kind of invaders. And, and this is because the bone marrow is getting, the nutrients it needs, it's doing its job by and creates all the families, all the little warriors. It needs to create the full spectrum of the army, which is our, our immune system. And it's, one of the those white, those those blood cells, the platelets and, platelets, those, cells that allows the blood to clot.

people, I mean, do not stop bleeding. They have and it can be a very bad situation for people under chemotherapy Wednesday. that cannot stop bleeding. I mean, it starts with bruises, and then it goes to a G. And it's very bad, very bad. Prognostic. So, my father developed those little RNA fragments, and I mean, that's a technical term, but I realize that people are right now of hearing, RNA. For good reasons. Yes. Yeah. So, but I just want it has nothing to do with RNA messenger, and it has nothing to do with, technology of the vaccines.
we we have heard of a lot about, about, Covid. So just something else, kind of a different kind of RNA. Not not message in. No, no message here. Just little pieces of, RNA, which are specific to the DNA of the bone marrow, help slime the synthesis of the bone marrow and then support the bone marrow in doing is its job. so my father tested first, in vitro, of course. the compare the, rate of synthesis of, the DNA of the bone marrow. Normal. And when you add, those little RNA fragments, it's, goes much, much faster.
I mean, so Curtis, reads beautiful shot. So, he went on with habits, and, he had two groups of rabbits to whom he gave, very heavy dosage, for nasty, chemotherapy. Called the cyclophosphamide, first for met, made and, he, those, control group of the rabbits, they died within ten days. But, it all the rabbits that receive the RNA fragments, of course. So he was looking my father was looking at two leukocytes of the two white blood cells and, or, the white blood cells was going down at the time of the, chemotherapy.
But then, as you say, where the rabbits were given some RNA fragments, it was going up again, up again, up again. And, at the end of the experiments, all these, rabbits who have been treated with, RNA fragments were still alive. So that was for, for the leukocytes. But, a few years ago, we had the opportunity to work, with, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where they were, looking for, solution, nontoxic solution for platelets, which is, you know, so, so cells that, prevent, clotting and are also destroyed as a collateral damage, by, by chemotherapy.
And, we had the clinical trial where we had a lot of patients who were at the verge of having, not enough platelets to. To be able to take more chemotherapy. Technically, that's I mean, this disease was there is not, enough platelets is called thrombocytopenia. We supplements you cannot treat a disease such as the FDA. So we had a population of patients who were at the verge of thrombocytopenia. Technically, they did not have composite opinion. And the goal of the of the clinical trial was to see if we were, would be able to, prevent them, to develop thrombocytopenia and also patients who, enrolled into the clinical trial.
So they were able to cruise through their, chemotherapy treatment. we were able to they were all doing well. So we were able to do, escalation dosage, meaning we started with 20mg. We went on to 40mg, 60mg, 80mg. Nobody was sick. Nobody had any side effect. And at the end, their bone marrow seemed to be kind of protected, even though they had chemotherapy. But the bone marrow was doing well at the end and was able to, to create by itself. When we stopped the chemotherapy, the anti RNA fragments was able to.
So it was a bone marrow was able to create a decent number of, of platelets. So that's that's really a very beautiful achievement, I believe, considering that, a lot of, I mean, people undergoing undergoing chemotherapy, are suffering from a loss of, immune system and, and, bruising and, I think also, also side effects, if you can achieve, you know, a protection without toxicity, without side effects, without interfering with the protocol of the hospital. why not? I think that should be recommended to to to everybody.
Yeah, I mean, it it sounds like that is something that almost should be standard of care, you know, you know, when when you look at this kind of research and especially, you know, one of the challenges is, is always I mean, there are a lot of challenges in regards to when people undergo chemo. but like you mentioned, one of the biggest challenges, you know, from an oncologist point of view is to be able then to complete treatment, you know, with this patient to, to be able to give them enough chemo to have, the impact on, the tumor that they're looking for.
And if the person's bone marrow is, impacted, too strongly so they're not able to, you know, their, their platelets. And I've seen that with the number of cancer patients with after, you know, during chemo, their platelets almost goes to like zero. And and then also you have then the, the white blood cell count going down. So that their risk for other infections, that, you know, can then be deadly in themselves. So then the person is having to then, delay their chemo schedule or even stop the chemo.
And so now we're not having the impact on the tumor. Yeah. That as you know, like the oncologists were wanting. So by combining this then with, you know, if a person choose to, to do traditional oncology care. Yeah, it's seems to me to be, you know, very powerful. I would like to say that, the study has been published and that publication is available on the website of the foundation, mentioned that UG, you can go there and, look for this, clinical trial which was conducted at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
You just download the publication, you can read it, share it with your doctor and, and discuss just if it can be, you know, a good addition to your, your regimen.
Platelets, serotonin, and emotional well-being 30:38
Yeah, but I see why not. I don't really I don't see why not. Because there is no toxicity, against this. so the toxicity studies have been submitted, of course, for the clinical trial, but also, to the FDA, years ago, I mean, I came here in, in 97. So that's when we, we met, you know, the filing with the FDA as a new dietary ingredients. And they have never been never been, any any problem, any adverse, adverse event with those products. Yeah. And and one one of the challenges, you know, like you also mentioned is that when you're done with chemo and, and let's say you've, you've kind of ring the bell.
Yeah. You're, you're done with chemo and, and now there's no evidence of disease meaning that the tumor is gone. Yeah. It's shrunk and it's not visible. Yeah. We we do know that there's no chemo out there that's going to be able to kill all the cancer cells. So there's always going to be remnant of cancer cells post chemo. And what we have in our system to be able to deal with those remnants is our immune system. And if our immune system is completely destroyed by the chemo, then we are handicapped and we're not able then to battle, you know, the second wave that's going to come when those those cancer cells and regain, their, kind of their strength and regain ground, so to say, because they have no immune system to check them so that it just highlights even more important, how, how important it is to, take care of your bone marrow and, and to support that production of, of healthy leukocytes.
so that your immune system is strong, post chemotherapy. and so, you know, giving a little boost to your immune system is something that you may you don't need to be under chemotherapy to, to feel that, you know, from time to time it's, it's it's a good thing to get, you know, a little support. the only situation where you don't want to, support your immune system is when you are going to give an organ, then you. I mean, of course, the the idea is, to, to receive. To receive. I know, I know again, when you, when you, you don't want to create more immune defense, you want to be able to, to have your body able to receive the new organ and and that's the way it is supposed to be.
But you are if you are the one giving. Actually, it's a it's no problem to, to recover better. Yeah. Yeah. The graft versus host is and disease. Yeah. Then then you have to kind of walk that line where your immune system is strong enough to protect you, but not so strong that it attacks whatever organ that you're received. So, so, and another thing, and you mentioned platelets, and we there's been a lot of research and obviously we if we don't have enough platelets and we are at risk of bleeding to death.
And, and so that's why it's so important to make sure that we support our platelets while we, you know, undergo therapy. but as you mentioned, you know, this can be done any time. And it is good to kind of support our immune system and our, our bone marrow because it's impacted by all these chemicals that we're exposed to. And, and that will then down regulate our immune system function. So to give our immune system a little bit of a boost is is great. But in regards to the platelets, you know, in addition to that and protecting us from, you know, hemorrhaging.
And so we can kind of clot and, and be able to contain tissues so that it heals. It also has an impact on our emotional well-being. Absolutely. Because, 90% of the serotonin, which is a feelgood hormone, is stored in platelets. So if you this size of platelets, you destroy the storage, then you don't have enough. I mean, serotonin in your in your body and a lot of people undergoing a good treatment for cancer are depressed. So you can actually make them be better and feel better at the same time with the same the same, nontoxic approach.
and there is a lot of, interests, actually, around serotonin. Not nowadays. and, there are some studies also showing that, even Alzheimer's, for example, is, linked to, less severe tuning. It's a study that was recently published by, Johns Hopkins Hospital. So, it is a very, very interesting avenue to see, what we could potentially achieve by making sure that, we are not destroying the platelets, and we are allowing somebody to have all the storage it needs, to create the opportunity and stuff. 0 to 9.
And at the beginning, we are just at the beginning of that. But it's. I find that absolutely fascinating. And and we know also so serotonin is a neurotransmitter. And when we are you know, so if we are then our platelets are getting destroyed. Yeah. Then we are reducing our, our serotonin neurotransmitter, which, you know, you mentioned it has a lot to do with how we feel emotionally and, obviously that that's really important when you go through something challenging us as cancer. But we also know that, you know, the the well known impact of, of, you know, chemo fog, you know, chemo brain fog and also the impact that it has on, on your brain.
And we know just kind of supporting your serotonin can also impact your, your, your thinking ability and your ability to have kind

of a healthy cognitive function as well. You're absolutely, absolutely. and there is definitely a link between the immune system and the emotional and, fitness. I would say, and we are just at the beginning of looking into that, as scientists are a lot of research team looking at the, benefits of the microbiome, also at the gut level. And on autism, on schizophrenia. And, and there is definitely something here, bats, those little RNA fragments. So I was telling you about, made of, out of bacteria, which is naturally present in, the healthy gut.
It's equally k 12 non pathogenic, non mutagenic. And it looks like adding that to the diet actually provides the body to, a lot of things that it would find in lc, lc microbiome it of course, it cannot replace everything, but it makes a huge difference. And we have had some, doctors telling us that, you know, between your gut did good detox and the RNA fragments, they, saw a number of, improvements. we in in autism, for example. So I think it's really part of should be part of, of a broader spectrum of application, not just chemotherapy, chemotherapy support.
There is, I wish we had a sense of resources to, to look into everything. I, I find that absolutely fascinating. I would love to to I can of course, we cannot pursue every avenue of research, but, it's definitely I think is definitely worth it. Yeah. I mean, it's fascinating. And you're you're absolutely right. I mean, we're we're focusing a lot on, on cancer and, and chemotherapy and the benefits in that area. But at a, at a broader spectrum, you know, we our mental and emotional well-being and also our cognitive function, you know, play as so impacted by what's going on in the gut.
And then also you know to be able to feed, then there's substances that are naturally present in a healthy gut, and have that then impact both our immune system, our, our emotional well-being and our cognitive function. And, you know, like, like the, the RNA fragments that your father, discovered. I mean, that that just seems like that would be fantastic. You know? Absolutely. And again, service. No. So it's no side effects. I mean, and even healthy people can, can take it from time to time. And so, I take it when that, when I travel, I don't want to, to get sick and I need to make sure that my, my, immune system works, 100%.
Speaking of percentage, my, at the time of my father in the, in the 80s, he was always looking for some funding to, to carry on with his research. And it was a time of of channel being it was the time of the Cold War. And he signed a contract with the French Army to study. So the little RNA fragments and we receive the you receive the letter from, you know, letterhead of the French, department. saying that, the natural killer function with those little RNA fragments was, improved. 150%, increased 150%, within 24 hours compared to so control.
So it's a function which is increased, not the number. That's really important distinction because you want to stay within a physiological number of cells. You don't want to create too many.
Closing thoughts on travel, prevention, and gratitude 42:08
You want them just to be super active, super able to fight for for your, immunity. And that's what they are doing. But of course, I mean, this was the end of the Berlin Wall, and, there was no more interest from the French army and, the end of, the funding for my father. I mean, that that's incredible. Just that kind of an initial. Kind of the beginning. Well, I wouldn't say beginning of his research, but kind of at the beginning of the battle at that time to really kind of bring this to the forefront.
Yeah. 150% increase in activity. Yeah. That I mean, we all would like that whenever we travel or whenever we're exposed to things. So yeah, if we deal with viruses, you know, the people are sick around us. Yeah. Then that would just be a good thing to have. Yeah, absolutely. And we it's it's not a good thing to have. It's a saying we have it is available and it's available for, for all to use. I mean most people I mean under chemotherapy take just 1 or 2 a week. So that's, that's enough. and, for healthy people, I mean, one, a week or the week is is enough.
Yeah. Wonderful. Well, Sylvie, that is always an honor. It's always a pleasure. And and you're such a warrior. I mean, here you are, minding your own business as a lawyer in France, and and, look, look where you're at now. It took a little bit of a detour. Yes, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to do what I am doing. It is so rewarding to be able to make a difference and to contribute to to the research. I love to see those faces. Yeah, you truly do an amazing job with that. So thank you so much, Sylvie.
