Let's talk a little bit about another documentary called Food Inc. Food, Inc was one of the most maybe important documentaries I watched because it taught me what was happening with big agriculture, meaning it gave me more understanding of what's happening, with our food supply. How is it grown? How was it manufactured? And how was delivered to us as consumers? Now, I will preface in telling you that in watching Food Inc, maybe, you know, just do it as mom and dad. I wouldn't say like some other documentaries that you may want to watch it, as a family, because it does have a few parts in it that are difficult to,

watch because in addition to big agriculture, it will also expose the aspects of commercial farming when it comes to animals. Now I, will tell you I am a meat eater. of eating meat but I believe that it should be done humanely and ethically. It should not be like a business or a conveyor belt system. So this documentary does exploit that but it's not an anti-meat documentary. Its more about what has transpired with big agriculture. What I want you to take away from this is as follows. You will hear from real life farmers telling you the story of what's happened and how they've become prisoners of big agricultural and in particular a very evil entity, a company called Monsantos.
Animal Farming and Ethical Concerns 1:18
Before I share more about the documentary, I want you to think back in history. If yourself or your loved ones or somebody you know was a Vietnam War veteran or if you've just studied anything about Vietnam, what do we know? The massive injuries that took place in that war was not from gunfighting, but in fact from the exposure to Agent Orange. The company that made Agent Orange as a chemical biological warfare company is who owns and controls the food supply in the United States. I did not stutter or say that incorrectly.
Monsantos, the company who made agent orange, is in control of big agriculture and commercialized farming. How did that take place? This company, aside from being a chemical company making Agent Orange and Roundup, they figured out how to create corn that could withstand high amounts

of pesticides, herbicides, and not be destroyed by bugs and insects. So in today's world, corn is not a vegetable. It's never been. Corn used to be a grain, but now due to Monsanto's patent on corn, Corn in the United States today is actually a registered insecticide with the EPA. How did that happen? Well, Monsanto's figured out how to make this patented corn. And then from there, they went around and tried to get farmers to switch their crop because they said, well, by using our seed, there will be bigger yields, bigger profits, less waste, all of these positive things.
But there was a very intelligent group of farmers that said we don't want any part of this frankenfood. So you would get, you know, Tim on the right not wanting to do anything with Monsanto's and you'd get John on left wanting something with monsantos. So John agrees.
Farmer Lawsuits and Seed Control 3:04
John starts growing Mondsanto corn. But we know that Mother Nature happens and none of us have controls of it. What does that mean? The wind is going to blow and things are going move. When Tim's natural corn got some drift and moved over and landed in John's GMO corn, The lawyers from Monsanto's would go after Tim and say, well you've contaminated our crops, therefore we are going to hold you in contempt of our product because we own it, we patent it. It's no longer just two god food forms of corn.
And they would tell Tim, We're gonna hold ya in court, were gonna file bankruptcy, or we're going file lawsuits and all of these things against you. and they have so much money being a major corporation that they could force this little farmer into bankruptcy trying to fight them in litigation. Or, If you now decide to join our team and start growing our corn, we will drop this lawsuit. You can continue to own your land, you can continuing to farm, but you must do it with our seed. It's a crazy thing to think about but if you get the opportunity, watch Food Inc.
you will hear the farmers tell you this story.
Roundup, Glyphosate, and Cancer Claims 4:10
They will show you how they've lost owning, if you would, their land and their right to farm what they want because Monsantos has overtaken them and ensured that they are part of the pesticide, herbicide, fungicide-pushing chemical warfare company. In more recent time, within the last year, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a very wonderful attorney and an ethical man, went to court on behalf of a groundskeeper who developed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. And for the first time they were able to prove that exposure to Roundup, the active ingredient in Round Up, glyphosate, causes cancer.
You are now finding a tremendous amount of lawsuits against Monsanto's because we know that, in fact, exposure of glyphasate causes cancers. So Food Inc. will take you through how they rose to power in big agriculture and then you do some understanding of what RoundUp does to our body in terms of its pesticide,
