Full Transcript Introduction to Prolozone Therapy 0:00 Yeah. 0:00 Prozone is ozone, which is activated oxygen. 0:05 You can show her the machine there if you want to show the match. 0:09 There's an O2 tank and a longevity machine. 0:13 This different machines out there. 0:15 I've been using that one for a long time. 0:16 Other companies are good as well, but that makes ozone that machine right there, right? 0:21 So in fact, we'll make that up. 0:23 here right now just to show you. 0:25 I usually use, different strengths you can use but roughly 28 to 30 something gamma is what I'll typically use for ozone injections. 0:38 And so I've been referring, I had about 10 injections we've done in my low back for my discs and so the whole point is we're trying to stimulate the body's 0:49 own healing mechanism on like a steroid injection. 0:53 Yep. 0:54 Prolo means to proliferate and you're actually making cartilage. 0:59 You're generating an inflammatory response. 1:01 That's how we heal when we injure ourself. 1:04 It hurts and all that stuff, but you're inflamed and you are healing through that inflammatory process and ozone stimulates that Hey, 1:38 it's Dr. 1:39 Rymka and here I am getting a prolozone injection with Dr Frank Matalon at his office. 1:45 I use ozone to help repair a back injury so he ends up doing four injections and he's gonna explain it a little bit and we end up talking about carnivore 1:54 so I hope you enjoy and yes it does hurt a bit. 1:56 Are you looking at this or the whole thing?
How Ozone Injections Work 2:01 Whole thing. 2:02 The red color is B12 that's why the solution looks red. 2:07 for those wondering. 2:09 Procane is in here, arnica, biocene minerals, and B12. 2:13 How's it doing with that? 2:16 Okay. 2:17 Okay so far. 2:20 It's warm in the ozone. 2:21 Ozone. 2:21 Yeah. 2:21 Both. 2:21 Nice and smooth. 2:22 There's the pressure. 2:23 Gonna go slow. 2:25 All right. 2:32 The ozone gas, I'll just slowly pulse it in. 2:35 Distraction technique here, see if that helps. 2:43 Just let me know when you start feeling the pressure. 2:45 It's starting. 2:46 Already? 2:46 Because I've hardly put much in there. 2:50 You're just super sensitive. 2:59 So tell me about this carnivore diet thing. 3:02 Oh boy. 3:03 What are the parameters of that? 3:05 Just all meat? 3:08 Any animal? 3:09 Anything? 3:10 So any flesh food? 3:11 anything. 3:12 You know, there's a lot to be said for going nose to tail. 3:17 Oregon meats and stuff. 3:20 Felt that one. 3:21 Yeah. 3:21 It's okay. 3:34 I prefer people absolutely add that in, even if they have to use a pill for them, you know, because they're being wussies. 3:41 So you can do it very short term to deal with, it's the ultimate elimination diet, unless they had the tick-borne meat allergy, 3:53 without all that rotation diet crap and everything. 3:57 SIBO, and so as you're treating stuff, you just get rid of every plant toxin and every allergic autoimmune trigger. 4:07 So some people, we just do it four weeks. 4:08 Some people we go for three months, six months. 4:12 And it's strictly meat. 4:13 No... 4:14 So everybody's a little bit different. 4:15 Like, technically eggs and cheese would be on their elax kind of carnivore. 4:21 Yeah. 4:21 But that's cheese. 4:22 Because it is derived from Yeah. 4:24 And I'd prefer they have an A2 raw, you know, casein. 4:28 Sure. 4:29 But, everybody's different. 4:31 Like, again, a Hashimoto's patient, I won't allow dairy at all. 4:35 You know what I mean? 4:36 And that steam bar, and I would say no chicken, no eggs. 4:40 Just to carve my bases out a little bit. 4:42 Right here, Dr. 4:43 Madeline asks me about if everybody can afford carnivore, And we start having a discussion about expense. 4:49 Everyone can't afford that. 4:52 It's, right. 4:53 It saves so much money. 4:57 Me eating carnivore, I don't know if anybody would say it's more expensive, it is not. 5:01 Because that other process. 5:04 You're not eating the other stuff. 5:05 I know. 5:06 So it, oh god. 5:09 Right there that oh God was because it really hurt going in on the nerve. 5:14 That's my carbon footprint only. 5:17 that's all you're eating. 5:18 i mean it it' really cost effective. 5:23 I mean, I save money, Frank, and I eat filet mignon most of the time. 5:26 Like, that's my preferred. 5:28 It can be hungry, yeah. 5:28 Yeah. 5:29 Filet Mignon with some chicken wings? 5:31 Shit. 5:32 That's the best. 5:35 To try to get the knee cap to fall back into where it's supposed to be. 5:43 Is that painful, doing this? 5:44 It's a little painful. 5:46 I don't have any crepitus or grinding. 5:48 All right. 5:54 Just let it hang. 5:57 Right in there.
Carnivore Diet Discussion 6:06 That's right. 6:11 How much of a space. 6:18 This is medial, this is lateral. 6:20 So either side. 6:22 I feel it's narrow but I can get in there. 6:29 It's a super skinny needle. 6:30 Have you had steroid shots in any of them? 6:31 Oh yeah. 6:32 Probably multiple, right? 6:33 I've had this like Ristracone injection. 6:37 Oh you did all that stuff? 6:38 Done all of it. 6:39 Alright. 6:41 When was the last time you have a steroids shot? 6:42 Probably four or five years ago. 6:45 I'm sorry. 6:58 So Steph has told you about Prolizone a little bit. 7:01 Check that in the YouTube videos. 7:02 We've done all that stuff. 7:04 Average person eats five or six. 7:05 That's average. 7:07 And some people do well even with one, but an average is five to six, even if I've had Prozone. 7:11 Mine was six from my back and a few in my knee. 7:14 But in many cases more chronic, more problems. 7:18 probably requires more, but start with prolozone. 7:21 There's always stem cells. 7:22 They do those as well. 7:23 We can always do that. 7:25 As well, weekly prolosome shots is what I usually recommend a week or two apart at the most, try to do it weekly if you can. 7:32 I know your schedule is a bit tight, do the best you. 7:36 Can put some arnica in there as. 7:40 Well, some propane B12 mineral blend. 7:44 So Frank, explain what you just said. 7:47 is a blend of... 7:48 Am I filming that? 7:49 I'm recording, yeah. 7:51 Hi, mom. 7:53 Yeah. 7:53 Prozone is, it's ozone, which is activated oxygen. 7:58 You can show her the machine there if you want to show them that. 8:02 There's an O2 tank and a longevity machine. 8:06 This different machines out there. 8:07 I've been using that one for a long time. 8:09 Other companies are good as well, but that makes ozone that machine right there, right? 8:14 So in fact, we'll make that up. 8:16 here right now just to show you. 8:17 I usually use, different strengths you can use but roughly 28 to 30 something gamma is what I'll typically use for ozone injections. 8:31 There's a blue syringe. 8:33 And so I've been referring, I had about, 10 injections we've done in my low back for my discs. 8:39 So the whole point is we're trying to stimulate the body's own healing mechanism on like a steroid injection. 8:46 Yep. 8:47 Prolo means to proliferate and you're actually making cartilage. 8:52 You're generating an inflammatory response. 8:54 That's how we heal when we injure ourselves. 8:56 It hurts and all that stuff, but you inflame that you are healing. 9:00 through that inflammatory process, and ozone stimulates that. 9:04 Inflammatory response. 9:08 So it's gas. 9:09 It looks clear, but that's about 98% oxygen and 2% or 3% ozone. 9:14 You've got that there. 9:17 Let me turn that off. 9:24 Let me give you a little test flash through this up here. 9:26 How do you say it for 10? Kelly. 9:29 Kelly, with the Irish spelling is open. 9:31 That's correct. 9:34 All right. 9:35 So Kelly's been having some knee problems. 9:37 She had multiple injuries and multiple surgeries a long time ago. 9:42 And so we're going to go a bit more natural route to promote her knee regenerating tissue. 9:56 This syringe will be able to inject the solutions I use, which is typically procaine, some bi-ocean minerals, and B12, an arnica, 10:06 my usual mix is what I put in there. 10:09 And procain is a drug? 10:11 Yep, anesthetic, improves membrane permeability, membrane potentiation. 10:16 So we'll mix all that in here.
Preparing the Knee Injection 10:20 Here's some arlica. 10:24 This is your formal filming, guys. 10:25 I didn't know I was being filmed. 10:27 It's okay, we're gonna edit. 10:28 We'll see what we'll do with it. 10:31 But a lot of people don't what this is. 10:32 They've seen me get my blood drawn here and I'm about to get that gas. 10:39 put into my blood, which you guys have seen me do a video here before. 10:44 So this is Dr. 10:45 Frank Matalone, and this. 10:48 We did that like a year and a half ago or so, right? 10:50 Yeah, yeah. 10:52 People still, people love it. 10:53 Explains it a lot. 10:56 That's the minerals. 10:57 This needle is not to be injected in her, this just to draw stuff up, so people are probably saying, oh my gosh, that's a huge needle, 11:03 I don't like that. 11:04 It's not for you, it's just a draw up. 11:07 The juice, I call it. 11:12 I'm not live, i'm just recording. 11:28 And so Kelly had some questions, you know, she asked, does it hurt? 11:31 And I said, well, I've had it again in my sacrum and for discus. 11:35 I haven't had my knee done. 11:36 And go, it's not going to go. 11:38 Everybody's response is a little different. 11:39 The location will matter, but it there's definitely a pressure because The balloon is blowing up. 11:48 You've had yours at your back, so it's a different experience, but similar. 11:51 It's like a balloon sensation filling up in your knee. 11:56 Really, does it hurt, hurt? 11:58 If you go too fast with anything in life, I was near a doctor, if you inject anesthetic too quickly, you're expanding tissue rapidly, 12:06 it hurts. 12:06 If it goes slow, not so bad. 12:09 There we go, there's our juice. 12:12 That's your skinny little knee, we can barely even see it from where you are. 12:15 We'll prime it, so there we go. 12:17 All right, got my ozone drawn up. 12:22 Let's get her done, let's see. 12:28 So this is her right knee. 12:30 There's the patella. 12:32 You feel the bottom part of the patella. 12:34 And you should slide into a little groove laterally, or you can do it medially. 12:39 I usually do lateral, but you could do either or. 12:41 But I'll try to go lateraly. 12:45 either just your anatomy or the surgeries or whatever your patella groove has always been gaps a little narrow it feels like that's why my knee is always 12:56 like fluctuated, pop down, go to the side. 12:59 Some people will draw all over people to mark the spot. 13:02 I usually use the tip of my plastic needle as a nice little target impression, which you're about to see. 13:08 Like I said, yours is narrow, but I can stick my thumb in it. 13:13 It kind of just falls on its own within that. 13:20 It's narrow, but I think we'll get in there. 13:23 That's by your best spot. 13:25 See how it pushes in? 13:26 I'll make a little impression. 13:33 And that's the target. 13:35 All right. 13:36 So, not that we need alcohol because ozone kills everything, that'll give it a bit of a swab-a-roo. 13:43 ER doc habits, hard to die, right? 13:45 Yeah, yeah. 13:47 Some people just like it as well. 13:48 They feel, oh my gosh, you know, it's killing the germs on the skin. 13:51 Well, may or may not, but whatever, we'll use it. 13:55 So cold spray again, remember, just a little bit, so you don't jump. 13:59 And you're relaxed, knees hanging, and just let it hang, let them hang. 14:03 I usually do this just to kind of keep people from moving. 14:08 And the knee is one of the more successful joints of Prolozone, don't you think? 14:12 Yeah, it's probably the most commonly injected joint that I do for Prolazone. 14:18 But I've, necks, backs, elbows, feet, ankles, wrists, fingers, you can do it all.
Performing the Prolozone Knee Injection 14:28 And then of course there's trigger points. 14:31 All right. 14:32 I'm lining up, bevel up. 14:35 Cold spray. 14:43 Give you a little tickle scratch. 14:45 I just kind of let it glide in on its own. 14:47 Hopefully I don't get much resistance. 14:49 Is that hurt? 14:49 A little bit, not much. 14:52 You have, like I said, a narrow gap. 14:55 If I can feel it, if I had to move it slightly, now you see it goes right on in. 14:59 Like I say, it's narrow, I could tell, but it is going in just fine. 15:07 I could force it much harder, but you don't need to. 15:09 I just go nice and slow, let it do its thing. 15:12 You can pull back a little bit. 15:13 How are you feeling? 15:14 See, now this, I pulled back that slight bit, you okay? 15:17 Did you feel much anything? 15:19 Not really. 15:20 Oh yeah, that's my technique. 15:22 The cold spraying, the scratching. 15:23 It's flowing in very nicely. 15:30 Do you feel any pressure? 15:31 Like, do you like getting bigger? 15:32 A little bit, yeah. 15:33 Okay. 15:33 You might a little, but this is nothing. 15:36 This is only five cc's of the solution. 15:40 And then next, you'll watch me do this. 15:45 Disconnect, leave the needle in, pull that there, stabilize it that way. 15:53 The real magic right here again is the ozone. 15:58 Just hook that up. 16:00 Oh, so that was the solution with everything. 16:02 Got it. 16:03 Now, okay. 16:04 I missed that. 16:05 The real magic is the ozone. 16:07 Yes. 16:09 So this is where you'll feel more of a balloon sensation. 16:13 Yeah. 16:14 Because it's more volume, more fluid. 16:16 And you let me know how you do. 16:18 If it gets painful, let know. 16:19 See, I'm going slow again. 16:20 Little pulses. 16:24 There's no resistance whatsoever. 16:26 This is going in very nicely. 16:27 The biggest joint in the body is the knee. 16:29 It can accommodate a whole lot of fluid, whether it's a liquid or gas, that's fluid in physics. 16:37 People tear their ACL and they get these big swollen knees, and then they go in and aspirate fluid out. 16:43 You probably have that done as well, right? 16:45 You can pull out, this is 60 cc's, the syringe? 16:48 It could pull 60 or more ccs. 16:50 Just goes to show you how much volume a knee can accomodate. 16:53 Doing okay? 16:56 Feeling full? 16:57 A little bit? 16:58 Barely? 16:59 Yeah, a little pressure. 17:00 Not bad. 17:00 I'll give you that. 17:03 Try to go for at least 20 cc's and people will do less. 17:07 Typically at 20 or more. 17:09 You're about 30 ccs right now. 17:12 As long as you're comfortable, I will give a bit more here. 17:15 Like I said, it can accommodate a lot. 17:21 More is not always better. 17:23 It's going in so easily with no resistance, I'll just give you, probably give it these 40cc's. 17:27 We'll be done here in a second. 17:31 Okay, that's good. 17:39 Start with that. 17:41 That little bit of blood will just put pressure. 17:43 In fact, you can hold it yourself while I clean up my mess. 17:46 Number one prolozone for Kelly today on her knee, right knee. 17:50 That was it. 17:52 Not bad, huh? 17:53 Not at all. 17:54 Yep. 17:55 All right. 17:56 Just for the needle folks again, that's the most commonly used needle. 18:00 It's a 27 gauge, one and a quarter inch needle, So very skinny, flimsy little needle, right? 18:06 Steroid shots usually require a bigger needle because it's thicker, this stuff, so you need typically a big needle. 18:13 But that's most commonly used right there, a skinny little nothing needle And I gotta say, your technique, you don't feel the needle go in at all. 18:21 Yeah, most people don. 18:23 It's not the issue at al. 18:26 Move your knee around a little bit. 18:30 You'll sometimes hear this kind of sloshing around sound of the fluid, right, the solution of a gas in the knee. 18:38 You might even hear it a whole day later.
Aftercare and Other Treatment Options 18:40 When I had my knee injected five years ago, I even noticed that the following morning I still had that slosh around. 18:48 Not everyone gets that, but some people do. 18:51 Are there any post instructions that are important? 18:55 Normal activity, don't take any anti-inflammatories. 18:59 Prozones generating an inflammatory response, you don' want to negate that. 19:03 Although I've even seen it work when people have done, when they cheated. 19:05 So we're not taking any Tylenol, things like that! 19:08 Just leave it, ice it if you have to. 19:11 You know, normal walking, that wouldn't go crazy on exercise or whatever. 19:15 Typically we'll tell you that for up to two days. 19:17 People always cheat all the time, they got to do their thing. 19:21 Yeah, so you'll be fine. 19:23 I'm not against natural anti-inflammatories. 19:26 If you're taking turmeric or curcumin or whatever stuff, fish oils, et cetera, that's fine, it's just the prescriptive or over-the-counter non-steroidals 19:35 I don't want you to take. 19:36 Preferably, we were taught that. 19:37 But again, some people cheat and still do it and they still get a good response to the prolozone. 19:41 Over 90% of the people respond really really well to prolazone If you're not bleeding at all, check and see. 19:49 We have little band-aids if you need it. 19:51 If not, some people don't want it, but little circle band aids if they want. 19:54 Thanks for showing this to us, Dr. 19:56 Matalon. 19:57 And thank you, Kelly, for being a participant. 20:00 You're a champ. 20:02 out there with joint issues, pain issues. 20:04 You know, there's a lot of other options besides just taking pain meds or doing steroids, which really sets you up with a different. 20:13 Or surgery. 20:13 Right, you gotta try other things you guys. 20:15 And so ProloZone is using oxygen. 20:17 We have a little bit of blood still. 20:19 Then you can go all the way to... 20:20 There's also stem cells. 20:21 There are also exosomes. 20:22 So there is more to do than... 20:24 Yeah, and I do all that stuff as well. 20:26 But 90% of people do really, really well with ProlaZones. 20:31 before I begin to talk about stem cells. 20:35 But yeah, we can do all that. 20:38 Yeah, once at a time. 20:39 All right.
