Well. I'm so excited to have wonderful and beautiful Sylvie Beljanski with me today as Sylvia. Thank you so much for for being with me on this summit. Thank you for having me. I'm thrilled. And it's always such a pleasure to to see you and to have the opportunity to speak with you. And you're doing so much in regards to cancer research and, and, you know, in regards to natural compounds and how they can benefit. But I want to before we go to that research, I want to you're building on the legacy of your father, and if you don't mind just kind of giving a little bit of an understanding for, for the audience that, that don't know who your father is, you know, the impact that he's had in regards to cancer.
Sure. And thank you. Thank you for that. And indeed, my father was, PhD in molecular biology. He was a the best institute. He joins the Pasteur Institute in 51. So he joined at a time where, everybody was speaking of, genetic code. And, it was a new the new things, a new shining object. And the entire scientific community thought that every disease would be solved, by, some genetic manipulation. And, I mean, there was a lot of money, a lot of patents that can be done with, genetic manipulation. And, and this approach was a Lance's approach.
And so I did not want to at all to look at anything else. And my father was one of the first scientist to look at the environment and, to see how the environmental toxins affect the DNA. And that was not fashionable at all at the time. It was, you know, we are now speaking of the 60s, 70s, all the companies are polluting, polluting, light, polluting like leaves. There was no tomorrow and they don't want to hear about consequences of what what they are doing is they even want don't want to mention that eventually they would have to pay one day for for all this pollution.
So, my father's work was completely sidelined and not it was really clear that he was, although he was at the Pasteur Institute, he was not. And his work was not well regarded. But he he continued in his his line of work, and he made the observation that, under the effect of environmental toxins, there is a change in the level of the DNA and the DNA. So there is a difference between cancer DNA and healthy DNA. And so the those big loops as the two strands of the DNA, not kept well together when the cell turns cancerous.

So, he continued his work and he found a number of natural compounds, plant extracts that are able to recognize this difference of structure at the level of the DNA and selectively target cancer cells, without harming healthy cells because see the difference and they don't go there. So it's very, very effective because, they recognize cancer cells wherever they are located. It doesn't matter whether you are a man or a woman. Well, no longer speaking in terms of bunker. He has prostate, ovaries. Does it matter anymore?
So, so, so little plot extracts are going to invade. Really the nucleus, the nuclear life of cancer cells without toxicity, without any harm to healthy cells. And, you got the following of a lot of, French doctors who were very interested into this approach and were very successful with this approach. And now we are in the 90s and in the 90s with the Mitterrand, affair, France, where the French president was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, the, official doctors, of course, conventional doctors, at the French white House said to a doctor, the president is not going to finish his second term.
We have to prepare as a country for early elections to the only thing we can do for the for the president is to give him some of thing and, hope he is going to, pass without too much suffering, but meet the other, new of the doctor who, had, good success. We said once prostate cancer, Mitterrand started to take the products and, against all odds, they started to get better and better. And as we know, he was able to finish his second terms. He did not have years of, phasing out or when he was not there.
And people were wondering what was going on with the president. No, he was, it was looking good. He was present. He was alive. He was giving speeches. He was traveling to the end of, of his time. And, it's it's only after, he finished his term, as he wanted to do it, that he decided to let go and actually, to put an end to to his own life. But what happened to my father is nine months after Mr., passed away, the French army, the army, a Swat team was sent to this time, my father's laboratory. And, so they kicked doors out, came with with smashing guns with dogs.
It was a delicate finding around making sifters, of, Zainab. And they smashed everything they could. The laboratory a parallel some some. My father at the very advanced microscope. And then everything was destroyed and it says depressing that we wouldn't at this time. And, and that made my father extremely sick and, finally passed. So, I was not a scientist. I'm a lawyer by trade, but that means that, I have the sense of justice. And I was really, really shocked. But by by what happened with the French government because that was really, beyond anything.
You I mean, forget about you process. This was really outrageous that they would do such a thing. And, so I took the case to the European Court of Human Rights, because that's what the lawyers do, this you, But then I decided that there's that we won and unanimous case. But then I decided that was not enough for my father's legacy. The important thing as a scientist was to make sure that this knowledge would not disappear and was protected. Facts could continue to help generations of people. So that's what I've been doing a very strong foundation, continuing to make the research available, continuing to fund new research projects and, make sure that the products would be available to, to continue to research them and, and continue to help people.
Well, and I mean, it it is a testament to show how powerful the research was of your father. Yeah. Because obviously, if this was not a threat to the establishment, so to say, they would not have taken such a violent action to, you know, go and, you know, kick in the doors, come in with machine guns and destroy his laboratory. And then while they were in protective suits and and your father was not them spray all these chemicals and things that later on, you know, led to your father's demise, you know.
So it is really a testament to that. Yeah. His research was really groundbreaking and, and, you know, the effectiveness of it. And to me, that is just fascinating because we're so used to, you know, talk about cancer. Then we want to attack things and destroy. And we use these very toxic chemo agents or radiation that are not very selective. You know, they go after everything. And here you have the intelligence of these compounds that are then going and then selectively going after the genetic structure of the cancer and then to kill those.
I mean, to me that is. Yes. So beautiful and so amazing. And we have this in nature. Absolutely, absolutely. And you can see I was speaking of my father's, my couscous. So, so, plant X, the pulp and, extract, which comes from us, South American. So how verifiable methi extracts which comes from, from Africa, they see extracts happen to be naturally fluorescent. So under the microscope, you are really able to see, how's. So you follow the light and you can see that it goes only, to, to to those cancer cells.
Senses selectivity of action. This is really, really unique. And, and my for my father to do not harm thing was really, really important. That said, they also sprout extracts also work with what we have seen is in synergy with chemotherapies and radio therapies. That was established with the products that were available at the time of my father and I and the medical foundation, we were able to reproduce this research with those, chemotherapies of today, especially gemcitabine and carboplatin. And we were under attack cell and we were able to see that indeed, we had this synergy, of action again and again.
Also those, molecules, gemcitabine, carboplatin, docetaxel are very different from each other. Yeah. And that's always a concern for a cancer patient or oncologist, you know, is that, you know, they are so nervous in regards to anything

interfering with the therapy that they are using. So they they tend to say, well, yes, you can do these natural things, but can you just wait until we're done, with the chemo or with the radiation? And here, you know, like you're saying, you actually have the research to back up to show that they are synergistically working together and they're enhancing the effect. If a person chooses to do chemotherapy to have a much better outcome. So you're actually instead of the one plus one equals zero, which is what the oncologist is nervous about.
You have the one plus one equals much more than then two. You know when when you add those two together. I have a picture here about the selectivity of action. I'm going to try to share that with you so that. Yeah. And is that working. Yes. Perfect. Yes. Okay. So you can see here that the light we are speaking here of the power. Are you staying outside the maybe I can have, yeah. Okay. I have, this is the light is staying outside the, the nucleus of the, it's a ball is a membrane of a healthy astrocyte, which is a cell of the brain.
And here you can see under UV light. Those concept of cells. And you can see how the light has been able to invade and really target target is so cells do we are we are speaking of down at a glioblastoma and observe it is lc lc cells exercise so you can see. And how does the mechanism is, is different and you can you can follow if you put if you do surgery. Actually some doctors have done so. You do surgery and you put so forth for a few minutes as darkness in the room. And if you if the patient has taken a lot of palpation, a lot of other things, it dies before you can see really the surgeon can see, if he or she has is taken out or, also concept of cells before, before endings, is, now I have to go back.
Stop. Sure. Before endings. Before endings are surgery. So that gives a lot of comfort also to make sure that if I think has been has been removed, I mean that to me that's fascinating. And the fluorescent aspect, so you can you can see kind of how and here you're dealing with glioblastoma, which is, you know, we know traditional oncology really does not have a solution for and you know, and how this, penetrates, you know, the, the cells that cancer cells of glioblastoma. And then we know in your research know how it attacks, the genetic structure.
But, you know, one fascinating component and light is such a, to me and to me, light is at the end of the day, is part of the solution, because we know that the mighty Condrey, I believe it or not, it is it is guided. It is driven by light. Yeah. So we we know, you know, these different complexes within the mitochondria. You know, the the light, the different components of light to drive the energy production, you know, within the mitochondria. And we know cancer cells have dysfunctional mitochondria.
And, they have that for one reason in order to be able to become immortal. And if we can then turn that mitochondria on and activate that mitochondria, we are then able to then flip that cell death, switch that apoptosis. And so by bringing light, you know, through plant extract like this, to turn on the mitochondria, to activate the cell death switch, in addition to then working on the genetic structure. So it's like a double hit on the cancer cells, even on something as difficult as glioblastoma.
And thought that that causes a blood brain barrier. So it's really delivers even into the brand, which is really, really unique. And, and very valuable for people with, with brain cancer. Because, as you said, that means the outcome for glioblastoma, cancer is very, very, very powerful is conventional approach. And with all the kind of genetic research that was done, they were trying to then identify, which genes should we attack or that gene. And like you're saying, there's a lot of money in patent that drugs.
But they needed to have exact targets in order to be able to patent something. They were not then able to target the genetic structure as a whole, you know, which is what the these plant extracts are going after. So it doesn't matter, you know, which gene that's turned on or turned off or, you know, so it doesn't have to be that specific. It only goes after the genetic kind of unwinding of the cancer cells genetic structure that is so different than healthy cells. So it's yeah, going after the genome and the mitochondria, which both of them are the key players in regards to cancer.
And you when you were mentioning apoptosis, indeed, those plant extracts are able to have multiple mechanism of action. One of them is apoptosis. But we have seen also why no antiviral activity for for palpate. We've seen an anti inflammation, an activity with modulation of NF Kappab. And and we keep discovering new things. So we are doing new new research and we have research shows plant extracts now on different lines of cancer, prostate of and pancreatic. We have done also different stages of cancer.
And now we are at, cancer stem cells. We have done research at, cancer treatment. Not yeah. Kansas University Medical Center, Perth. So, on different, lines of cancer stem cells, we are able to have a good results on where they are on, in vitro and in vivo on pancreatic and ovarian cancer stem cells. And, last year we started a new research program on breast cancer stem cells. Because your stem cells are really, really important because they are thought to be, highest possible for metastasis. We know that one out of five women who has been diagnosed with cancer, unfortunately, may have relapse of, of cancer, like cancer may come back.
Maybe the worst things that, you hear after, I mean, you have cancer is cancer came back because back then you are exhausted. You have may have lost your hair. You know, your life has been down by upside down. You are just hoping to see some future and the end of it and, catastrophe. It's back, and you are back to square one. And, even we said sit back because now you don't know where to turn. And the cancer, when it comes back, is very often even more aggressive centers. If this time it comes back like we survive a vengeance, revenge.
After, I've been, I mean, treated. Yeah. So, I am singing, you know, even those little plant extracts, effective at all stages of cancer, including cancer stem cells. Everybody who has been is diagnosed for, for for cancer should include this approach in their protocols from day one. Why would you wait to for cancer to come back when you can have, you know, an anti-cancer activity that can accompany you doing so first fight and prevent you to have a second round of fight.

And so that's what I would like people to know about. And that's why I'm relentless about speaking about that. Well, and that is that is such an important component because we know that the traditional oncology, route, they are they do not have the ability to address cancer stem cells. And, and that lies that the, the big failures of, of these type of therapies is exactly what you're saying, you know, yes, you're able to shrink the tumor, you know, with these toxic drugs and not saying that that is not important.
Sometimes, you know, it can be very important. And not saying that these therapies do not play a role in, in, in cancer care at some point. But to then neglect the very important component of the cancer stem cells, then you're truly missing out, and being able to, to care for and then to turn around, you know, your, your cancer, and diagnosis know because, and what we've seen actually is that, you know, chemo. Yes. It shrinks the tumor, but it actually aggravates the cancer stem cells. So they, they once you are then done.
So they kind of hunker down during chemo. And then once you're done then now they just go wild. They want to kind of now reap the they want to repair the tissue that was damaged, you know, and the tissue that was damaged with chemo was cancer. And so the cancer stem cells want to go and repair that. And now they're actively at it and want to go after and just kind of build, you know, build more cancer in the system and kind of protect themselves against the next assault. And then to have some thing, you know, that is able that has shown to go after these stem cells, you know, how beautiful is that?
To make sure you have that on board throughout your therapy. And then obviously the biggest concern after any, you know, when you get to that stage or no evidence of disease, you know, like you're saying is that is it going to come get back, you know, when when is it's that kind of waiting time and you're always nerve. It's it's always this kind of monkey on your back and you're just kind of waiting for is it going to come back and then to have them. Yeah. A, a tool to be able to kind of put your mind more at ease.
And because you know that you have a tool that goes after these cancer stem cells, to me, that, that is, that is so, so important, during, you know, when, when you're dealing with cancer or even if you're not dealing with cancer just to have that, that protective kind of you take something that continually is supporting the body to clear out some of these potential cancer stem cells, that that may be working in your body, because we know studies show that one out of two. Yeah, are probably going to be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their life, you know? Absolutely, absolutely.
I would like to share with you, this slides that comes from a recent, research on, breast cancer stem cells. So we have mice, which have been, injected with very aggressive breast cancer stem cells. And, you see, the control group has developed a lot of, labeled metastases by the mice who received, those very intense, the aggressive, breast cancer stem cells, but also a mixed, for popping fire, vomiting. Yeah. And the golden gingko is. So that makes this quote unquote helpful. So with zero zero metastases.
So that's, that was and we really I mean, when we saw that we, we, we fell in love and, and, I wanted to share that share that with you. I mean, that that that's so, so powerful. I mean, that was so powerful here you have a natural compound. And obviously, you know, the challenge when you deal with natural compounds is that it's no money for the pharmaceutical company. So the the research, you know, that is, is done on these type of substances. Yeah. It's not going to be funded by a pharmacy company because it can't be patented.
So now we have to privately fund these studies. And I know the Belgian Ski Foundation, is is raising money and using that money. You know, we have conferences that that we, that I know the Belgian conference where, people can come and the money that's made there and, use them for this type of research. Because that is what we need. We don't need to do more research on toxic compounds. We need to do research on natural, safe, effective compounds that already is there. And and that is what you're doing.
And you're using very reputable university. So the studies that are done, it's not just a little podium place somewhere in somebody's basement. Yeah. This is a legitimate column. It's Columbia University, right. This research has been done that comes to university medical centers. But all we, plus state we worked with, with Columbia University and, if they think we do as a foundation is getting published in peer reviewed papers and all these, publications can be, seen at, and mentioned that org, which is a website of the, of the foundation, so everybody can download, loads and read them, share them with their doctor, ask questions.
I mean, me and forms that way that, those options are, are available. And I think it's really, really important for everybody's, well-being to, to, to to know that cancer is, I mean, there are some natural solutions. Out there. You were mentioning the amount of money, that have been spent on conventional, conventional approach. For decades now. And we are still looking for a cure for cancer. I mean, is, it feels like, say, deliberately. Not who can get to the right place because solutions. So solutions do exist, but you they don't make money, to the pharmaceutical interest, to the pharmaceutical companies.
There is no, no interest for for the those solutions. It's now just looked upon as focus, focus. And that's why it's important to, to publish and get everything published in, in reputable, review reviewed papers. Yeah. And that is, so when your oncologist is saying, well, there's, there's no studies, there's no research, you know, done on that, then you can they say, well, well, there is and you can go then to the foundation, you know, pull up the research papers that are peer reviewed articles, you know, and and say, well, look, here it is.
So, so there is research, you know, but you're you're absolutely right. I mean, if I will say research or, you know, cancer research, you know what? I want to find the solution, and then be out of a job now. Yeah. So there's so much money in the research. Yeah, in itself. And there's so much being funneled to it. So they are they. It's exactly. It's almost like they're they're looking at places, but they don't want to kind of really point and say, this is solution. We just want to find things that can then manage, you know, the disease.

And then and in a way, so as we are doing that, we're, we're trying to find a place where we're not killing the individual as we are then managing the disease. And now, you know, obviously, if you can then bring in natural compounds instead, then we are not nervous about killing the person, you know, as we are then supporting the body's ability to to work on the cancer, you know, because we are now bringing in save compounds that are restorative, regenerative for the healthy cells, but then then targets the cancer cells and targets a cancer stem cells as well.
Yeah, indeed. Indeed. My father and also and another, important discovery. E is it our immune system? I mean, this is everywhere in our body, but really a very big part of our immune system. Also, white blood cells and platelets, which are produced at the end of our lives of bone marrow. And, normally, you I mean, the individual is creating those cells, by, just the absorption of nutrients, in, in the normal digestive track and that to the proper nutrients, absorbed. So, the, intestinal lining to the blood.
The blood brings those nutrients to the bone marrow, and the bone marrow is doing his job, which is to create those white blood cells and platelets, which help with, the immune defense and also the blood clotting. But, when somebody receives chemotherapy, so the lining of the, intestine is damaged, and this, process doesn't happen. Well, not enough not enough nutrients, absorbed through this person. As know they are not eating properly. Also sinks. And then the bone marrow is not fed enough, and he's not able to create a proper amount of, of white blood cells and platelets.
And so that's create, down zero the other problems of loss of immunity and, loss of sort of ability for the blood to, to clear properly. So, my father came up with those little, extracts of the extracts which are really similar to the nutrients that, the would go to the bone marrow and they, they are able to prime the DNA of the bone marrow and the bone marrow, then does a numb decent number of, of white blood cells and platelets. So that's a very, nutritional and elegant and again, nontoxic with South Side effect.
Way to, to nourish somebody, and help somebody to create, its immunity. And you don't need actually to, have, to be under chemotherapy to do that when you every time you feel that your immune system is a little bit low, you, you you feel it, and, and then you, you feel better and, I think it's so, so naturally, so, so easy also because, it's not an injection, you don't need to go to, to CNS to get to get that. You can just, you know, take a little, a little bit of this white powder under the tongue and, and you are done.
And, it takes only 24 hours to, for the bone marrow to, to create a new generation of, of white blood cells. So our body is like a factory every day to create new white blood cells. It's a very short time of of life and, as a die. And they need to be, normally to die, even for healthy people. And then they need to be reproduced every day. But even if your body is not in good shape, it's not able to be them. So you you need to have a kind of special food to support your body. To do that. Yeah. And that that's the biggest challenge, you know, when when individuals go through like I mentioned, chemotherapy, you know, one I mean obviously if you choose to do chemotherapy then you want to make sure that you're able to complete the course of chemotherapy and, and frequently if, if your numbers are too low, your it could be your hemoglobin, you know, red blood cells or your, your white blood cells.
Then that, you know, makes it so that you have to, you know, pass the therapy a little bit and wait for the body to then start to produce enough of the white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, you know, so that you can then continue the chemo. And so just from that aspect alone, it it would be really helpful. To take down, you know, the immuno pro, you know, which is, is this, this powder, and but then also we know that the chemo, you know, we talked about the cancer stem cells, but also just other cancer cells.
Chemo is not going to kill every everything. It cannot kill all cancer cells. You know, it just does not happen. It's an impossibility. So what does the body have to rely on after the, after you're done with that treatment? Well, it has to rely on your immune system. And if your immune system is completely beaten down, your bone marrow is completely beaten down, and you're not able to produce the white blood cells that you need, the natural killer cells, you know, to go after whatever cancer that's left, then it's like, you know, on the streets.
Now you have yes, you killed a lot of different hoodlums, you know, getting rid of a lot of hoodlums, but you've gotten rid of all the police force as well. And whatever hoodlums are left, you know, there's no police force out there, so they can just kind of reform the gangs, can just reform and then just take over the city. And that's what happens in the body as well. So you need these tools in order to be able to support your bone marrow, support your immune system so that you have fight in you, you know, during chemo and then after chemo.
Yeah, I have a slide I can share with you. Let's see. Use that comes from, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where we had a clinical trial with those little RNA fragments. We are we are looking at the population who had, almost lost all of their platelets. Well, loss of platelets is called thrombocytopenia. And, they technically do not have the disease. Otherwise we could not have been able to, do, clinical trial with natural compounds. But, they were really, very close to getting there. And they were expected to, get to fall into thrombocytopenia with the next round of chemotherapy.
And what we can see here. So it's, number five, platelets is going down with chemotherapy. About every time it takes, RNA fragments is going up and up and up and up again. And as we had an escalation do so he has started with 20mg. He has a 40mg, 60mg, 80mg. And there was no side effect, no complication.

And when you stop the chemotherapy. So bone marrow has been kind of protected and it will go to a normal level of where it should be. It has been nourished all the time instead of being destroyed by chemotherapy. So I feel that's absolutely beautiful. And I wanted to share that with you. Yeah. No. And and that's the amazing thing is that, you know, these are just not things that we're saying just because, you know, this is based upon research on studies and showing that this is what actually happens.
Yeah. So, you know, your your father, you know, had this research in in France, you know, French government came in, destroyed it. You know, they they, you know, it destroyed, you know, the majority of things. And I know that you were able to kind of piece things together a little bit from whatever was left. But now you are then recreating this research, you know, using then established, you know, American universities to really show that this is actually what happens, what your father found, you know, when he was studying, you know, that, PhD from Pester University, Institute, you know, one of the most prestigious institutes in the world.
Yeah, he was, that's where he was. That's where he had his PhD, and that's where he was doing his studying. And so now you are just showing that you are able to with the this RNA fragment, the moon about pro you are able then to bring up the blood levels, you know, so that you can protect the bone marrow while a person go through these toxic chemotherapies. And then in addition to that, you know, the on cable pro going after then the cancer stem cells and going after, you know, the the genetic the genome of of the, of the cancer cells and then also supporting, you know, what we're supporting through bringing light into the body, supporting that apoptotic, you know, effect.
Yeah. So it's kind of a two pronged approach. With, with on cabal, you really, attack cancer cells from different angles, because it's a mix of three products, which slightly different approach, but all about, killing cancer cells in different ways. And then with, immuno value support your body and you help your body itself fight the cancer cells from within and, from a good place. So, it the it's a kind of complete approach. And, it's it's the two works together, and, and should be, consider together.
Yeah, yeah, I agree. Well, all. Sylvie, thank you so much for all the amazing work that you're doing and for really driving. What what people are looking for, which is. And legitimate research on natural compounds, which is not easy. And it costs a lot of money. And so, you know, for listeners out there as well that would like this type of research to, to move forward, you know, reach out to build foundation. You know, they are looking for, you know, support in their effort, in regard to that. And then obviously, if you are concerned about cancer battling cancer, these are powerful tools to utilize, while you go go through that challenge.
