That being said, I would have never been able to say, yep, but I'm going to sign up and go to medical school and take on $200,000 worth of debt and, take this risk without all those things to back me up. I was able qualify for a sponsored position at the University of Utah, which has a similar arrangement with the university of Washington. And I qualified for one of those spots and I, was to pay a tuition that was really similar to in-state tuition for Utah.

Even though I as an Idaho resident. And that made it so that I could borrow funds sufficient so I can go to school and then eventually go residency and return back to my same little hometown where I still work and took the place of the doctor that delivered me.
