Chinese Medicine is a traditional system of medicine originating in ancient China. It includes practices such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage (tui na), dietary therapy, and qigong (breathing and movement exercises). Chinese Medicine is based on the concept of balancing the body's vital energy, known as Qi (pronounced "chee"), and the complementary forces of Yin and Yang. The goal is to restore harmony and balance within the body to promote overall health and prevent or treat diseases. Chinese Medicine has been used for thousands of years and is still widely practiced today as an alternative or complementary therapy in many parts of the world.
