Hey everybody, I'm Dr. Stephanie Remka and I am joined tonight by my co-host and partner in incredible skincare, Dr Marlisa Hurt. Now we may have Dr DR in front of our names, but really we're just a couple of fun ladies that like to like giggle and laugh and we can be on the phone for four hours at a time. We have done it into the wee hours of the morning, like girl, What time is it? We have to go to bed. We're like 13 year olds sometimes. You know why? Because who doesn't like to play and have a good time?

And I don't know any little girl that didn't love to get into her mom's stuff in the bathroom and play dress up and makeup and all the fun things. And in an interesting way, Rimaan has helped me kind of feel like a little girls in a way and get back to some of the of that instead of chore of it. So as we get older, I am in my 50s. So is Dr. Marlisa. You know, we, she and I see patients, things can get very heavy at times with what we do. And the levity that this has brought into our lives has been extraordinary.

Should i do it? Because I'm about to wash my face in a bowl. This is also a thing I've never done before. Ever. Much less publicly recorded on a zoom.

That's going to be shared with the world. Huh? God, you guys owe me so much. This is awesome. But you know what? The fact that it works like nothing else, You've got to get every square inch of your skin covered. I mean you cannot hold back a drop of this goodness from any square. Okay, so let me say this. Swear I'm like Minnie Mouse right now, like a child at Disneyland. We have three cleansers. And in a second, as I start my process, Marlisa is going to be explaining a little bit. So it's Korean skincare and the K-beauty tradition of heritage ancient Korean plant ingredients combined with this ritual notion of slow down, take time, adore yourself, you deserve it. is a hallmark of it is, a double cleanse. And she'll explain this more in a minute. An oil-based cleanse first and then a water-base cleanse after.

So this is very, very gentle and mild and she will explain why the oil pulls out oil, basically, it dissolves it. Then the water base is going to pull out other things and this a little bit of an exfoliant, You know, more scrubby now we have 2 of those, but you only use 1. This 1, I'm just going to set aside. But if you want to all you would really need to do is worry about this as far as I am concerned oil and the snow. So I'll show you. The oil then Dr Melissa is going talk about it a little bit give you a bit of info, Because I'm going to enjoy the moment of the taking the time and the slow massage and two parts of my of nervous system and cleaning system detox that this is actually going do.

And she's going explain some things about this. I do lots of pumps. Way I like a lot of it. Hey, I love that stuff. It feels so good. And I always do a first pass over my eye area to make sure I get all the eye makeup off first. And just the art of slowing down, you know, we've gotten so busy with just taking care of all of the tasks that we have to, and it really does affect our nervous systems when we're just always rush, rush rush to every task and we don't really prioritize time to take care So it's such a wonderful thing to have this incredible tool that is so rejuvenating for our skin, but it also really re-juvinating our entire nervous system.

It gives us the ability to activate our vagus nerve and to create vagal tone. Other things that you might have heard that help with that are like gargling or humming or singing. And you know how music just instantly shifts our mood when we're stressed out and you hear a fun song and it just immediately strikes a chord in you, doing this ritual and taking the time out to take care of yourself every day is really going to help you bring yourself into a state of calm through self-care. And then also just touching our faces with the massage, it helps to remove fluid from our face.

One of the number one causes of looking older than we actually are is the lymphatic buildup or the fluid build up in our phases. So when I get all my makeup off first, like she's doing, Sometimes if I have time, I like to do a second pass with the oil and just do little bit of lymphatic drainage and move the fluid out to my temples and then down through the sides of my face. You know, you've gotta come out the side and down to the neck because this is how everything drains. It's kind of like the dryer hose.

If we don't open up those pathways, all the fluids just stays stuck up in our faces and we look puffy and older You know, nobody wants that, but I absolutely love the purifying effect of the moisture cleansing oil. It has brightening agents in it. it helps to reverse hyperpigmentation with consistent daily use. And it also is like a miracle for getting rid of blackheads and whiteheads. If you take a little bit of extra time with that massage, not only does it remove the impurities from pollution, if you live in a city, where you've got exhaust fumes, petroleum-based stuff that's in the air that settling on your skin, that is just so unhealthy for us.

And the buildup of petrochemicals that we take in through our lungs and on our skin. We wanna do everything we can to get that out because all that accumulate otherwise is affecting our risk of developing cancer and other illnesses. So next we're moving on to the Snow Enzyme Cleanser. This stuff is like a magic trick. It is like a magic trick. You just need like, well, I actually just use the size of the eraser. And it grows. Yes. Like a lot of it. Cause I'm being cleansers literally last. Yeah.

I shave, shave with it, but I just doing, it's going to be fun. Well, we'll stop with the armpits. you can shave anywhere with that. When you put it on, look at how it goes. It starts out the sides of a P and it just expands and is gentle enough to, you know, exfoliate very gently with no texture. It's an enzyme exfoliating. You're gonna know inside this thing, we're going to tell you which line. So here's the reality. There's only two choices to make you guys. Just two lines. Everybody uses the same cleansers. Wash your face. Men, women, teenagers, young, old, acne, rosacea, wrinkles, wash your faces. Here it is right here. Easy peasy. If you can only get one, you'll have to decide which one you want to get. Marlisa, which do you usually recommend? If they say, I always recommend both because I really feel like they're so unique.

But if I had to just choose one, it would be the oil cleanser because it does act like a solvent to not only remove impurities from the environment, but it gets rid of makeup and it also dissolves stuck things that are stuck in our porters. And if you don't start with a clean canvas, the skincare cannot get inside to the deepest layers of the skin. So you've got to start clean. That's why the double cleanse matters. Now here's a pro tip. Lots of men, male customers, people we know and love. I recommended this as a shaving cream and they loved it.

But then a couple of them made a mistake. They didn't know what they were doing and it's even better. put the snow on and they shave and every man has said, that is the greatest, smoothest shave of my entire life. I will never shave with anything else but this. So what an incredible gift to give your teenage sons, your young men, you're husbands, daddy, whatever. Okay, so that's a little another way to use it. That's what I do with my armpits. And I actually use this to shave my legs. But I don't, I'm just scrubbing.

that what do because it's so affordable. Why not? Okay. Now there's only two lines you guys. This one, what we call the dermatology signature, okay, or the radiance on 100 lines. So the common gel You have it there? Oh, yeah. So this is an incredible product. It is eight different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. And so the difference in the particle size allows these hyalaronic molecules to go into the deepest layers of our skin. Hyaluranic acid is something that we make in our skincare when we're young, and it attracts 1,000 times its molecular weight in water. Once it gets in there, this so critical for rehydrating and getting that plumpness It causes firmness, it gets in there and then it expands.

And that is why we have results in three days, in five days. You do not wanna miss this step. It also has 24 karat gold flakes in it, which are highly antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal. it is like a first aid kit. I never travel without this product. If you get a bug bite, if you poison ivy, you just swipe that stuff on anything and it reduces inflammation. Yeah, diaper rash for babies I've done like, and if you're just using it like what I just did you guys. It lasts like six months. Booster, serum, booster. So we say boo, say, boo. And that's what I'm about to do. This is, listen, this stuff is the gold. Are you going to explain about the Biang Pool and the lava water? Yes, so two of our hero ingredients that only we, have we are the only people in the world to have, the ability to use these products in skincare products. And it is the tiger grass, which is our signature ingredient and it's something that's been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine as a generic plant.

And then the lead scientist who formulated this created his own strain by irrigating it with this special energy lava water from Jeju Island in South Korea. Well, I love that step and it really is something very unique to our line, again, and its trapping the layers of moisture within the skin that provides our signature luminosity that you don t get with any other line. So once you've trapped that moisture, I find people that have extra dry skin during the first two to three weeks while they are repairing the barrier function of their skin, sometimes you wanna do an extra spritz of the booster and the serum, and you might wanna to do it twice.

You just wanna keep on trying to trap those layers of moisture before you go onto the layer of protection, which she's starting with now. So our really big claim to fame, this is the product that we sold in Korea two and a half billion dollars worth before it even came to North America. And this is really our signature product. It has a very high concentration of not only that special energy lava water and our tiger grass extract stem cells that are unique to our particular company. I started to tell the story about how our lead scientist created his own strain of that plant by watering it with this energy lava water.

We're just going back to how you're actually supposed to function before you started doing all the things to yourself that started making your skin cell, your mitochondria, and your DNA telomeres. get old and crotchy, you know, that's, what's truly going on.

It's that simple, right? So you want to say else, I think we need to go on to the question. Cause I still got stuff to put on my face. Wait a minute. Where are we? Okay. So question three, here we go. We are on question 3, which layer do you skip most often if you are someone who's doing the ritual already? Is it A the booster B the serum? C, the dermatology cream or D, I do all three. I miss nothing. Who is the most faithful? Cause you might even be using a different brand. And so there are serums and creams and other things.

So what do you do? You're like, like I, you know, and never use a booster. Then you should say that if you I've never even heard of a Booster. had never heard a booster until this line I'll tell the truth. What? I never sprayed a bottle on my face before, you guys. That was a very new concept to me. I just, I, never did it. Okay. Um, so there's that. All right. So we want to help you before we move on. Signature versus Radiant Stum line. Again, don't use this line, okay? Marlisa doesn't us this one.

Only sometimes do this. Take this cream. and I put a little bit under my eyes. I do do that like at night sometimes because you get really insane collagen boosting from this one. But the first line is hypoallergenic. This is not, this will go deeper. It's 100% microfluidized, which means so all the ingredients in here are 100%, made super tiny into nanoparticles. So they go really deep. The other line is 70% microfluidized. So it doesn't, it goes very, very deep. It's just not as intense. I have incredibly sensitive skin with a, with the condition called benign sebaceous hyperplasia.

I don't want to go that deep as this is, and it's not hypoallergenic. Again, I break out from almost everything, so I dont like to use this line. It's considered for the mature line, i consider that 60 and up, but some people consider it 50. you know, or really dry skin, we have 30 year olds who do use this line have extremely dry, skin and it's been incredible for them. I usually like somebody to at least start with the hypoallergenic line for a month, let's say, and they will leave this in at night, even if they're 65. But some people just start right out the gate with this.

And so that's why we're asking you the questions to help to differentiate. I would just say age is just a number. I tend to tell people to look at their face. If you're someone who has lived an active lifestyle and you've been washing your face with the dial soap that you washed your armpits with your whole life. Look at your, what is your telling you it needs? Because if you have vertical striations in your cheeks, if have a lot of hyperpigmentation in irregularity in our skin tone, we've really got to work with you to hydrate your skin deeply.

And it's so interesting to me, guys, because the worse off people are with their skin care, the worst their can skin condition is the faster and the most dramatic their skincare gets repaired with this line. It's almost like the older you are. And if you've not taken care of your skin your entire life, when you start this, the rejuvenation effects are so dramatic. It's literally like the worst people's skin looks. I'm like, oh, I want you, on my team, to be my customer because it's just so traumatic.

Once we start nourishing and up-regulating those skin cells and they start to plump up those vertical lines, even those deep vertical line, which we typically associate with very mature damaged skin, Those, those go away. We've got incredible results and people it's just the most fun thing to see people fall more in love with their own reflection and to have hope that even if they've started the skincare game late later in life. They, they get incredible result. It's so dramatic. So in review, if you answered mostly A and B right now, so far, that means you are best for this, the signature line.

This is typically some sensitivity, inflammation, new to skincare, like she said, you haven't been doing a whole lot anyway. And we have again the beyond pool, the nice in my liposomes are in here. The ceramides are here too. But if you are, so we think foundation and repair, which is where I was, I wasn't severe cystic acting and flare and rosacea. You want that think that always now this line, right? The radiance and 100 more dance line. Think of it. like severe signs of aging, uneven tone. You will get stronger results with uneven-tone hyperpigmentation, more firmness.

So you'll get more collagen fill-in with this. If you answered mostly C and D, you might consider that this is the line for you. Or if you've already been using a very heavy moisture-based advanced skincare line, a cosmeceutical medical grade, this would be the one you could probably transition right into. Part two. I just want to say one thing about the skincare barrier because we want everyone to have a phenomenal result on their very first try. Yeah. Just want drop this little truth bomb out here.

Sensitive skin means you have broken skin barrier. If you any kind of irritation, reaction, redness, bump, roughness whatever it is, if you react to anything at all, start with our signature line for at least a month or two which would be one set should last you for six to eight weeks to repair your skin barrier first. Because when you have a repaired skin, you are no longer sensitive. So you might've had a broken skin barrier a whole life because you've washed with dial soap. But even if you had mature skin I always recommend to all of my people to start with the signature line first, really upregulate the skin cell metabolism and heal that skin And then like Dr.

Remka mentioned earlier, start to integrate the radiance line in maybe just at night while you continue to use that, you know, nurturing one in the morning. If you want to start working on the hyperpigmentation or deep, deep lines, then, once you've healed your skin, work at, getting to the deeper layers of repairing skin damage. Okay, now we'll just do a really quick makeup demo because we got makeup. Okay, and it's really skincare in a compact like what's very unique about this is the cushion foundation and its infused with skincare and has ceramides brighteners and hydration technology in it.

And it say it to cream. It's a liquid, it's powder, and cream in one, I forget. Those are the three things.

Barrier repair and hero ingredients 30:40

I should have known that. It comes with a cushion and you can use that to put it on. But I don't use the cushion because it is a little bit heavier. That would be maybe for a photo shoot or something. This is one that's not even open. I'm going to close that one down. What color is that? So we have five shades. 17 is fair. That would be maybe my teeth. I don't know what color that is on my system, but it's not me. So then there's 21, which is light. Actually use that as a highlighter. Use three colors at the same time.

Right now at 25, because I am tan. A month ago I was wearing a 23. Now I wear 25 as base. And 27 is the deepest color. And I use that I can use it as a contour. I'm just going to show you a little bit of doing it. Oh, we also have this. This is them the set spray and it has the lava. It's really nice. Has the same ingredients again. So we're constantly infusing anti inflammatory regenerative healing mineral frequency water and the Byung pool, as well as a whole bunch of other plants that you've never heard of because they're from Korea.

Like I had to look them all up, Acacia, you know, all those names, Marlisa. I was like, wow, what is all this? The delivery system, the delivery of the set and spray makeup spray. So this you can put on after your makeup. And it, again, it locks the makeup in. It makes it stay. Everything doesn't like move around on your face when you sweat. And the delivery system is a little bit different on that one. So it really locks in the makeup. Nice. It's called the set and stay makeup spray. A little more luminosity.

And look at how you see it. If you're watching this on your phone, You might not be able to see, But this stuff, It just makes your pores disappear.

It. Like you don't have any, Again, everything in this whole line is to make your face look luminous. It is, to reflect light. And this is just like a magic eraser for our faces. Look at the evenness of her skin tone and how it doesn't look. This side, that side. Yeah. And this is the 21. I mean, this was the light one. So I do a little bit of highlighting right here. If you guys don't know that little trick, I could also do little highlighting, running it down my nose case. This is just a, little makeup trick.

You could put your lipstick on by the way. And then you put this on it. But anyway, you would do that to kind of, highlight a bit, of boom light, but see, that's what I did with my eyes. Okay. Then if you want to get fancy, so I think you should order three cushions because it makes most sense. Yeah, nobody's face is just one color. The way the light hits our faces, we all have contour. So if you just use one like flat pancake face, it's almost like, you know, no, that's just so unnatural looking because we have all contour in the way that light reflects off of our face.

It gives a much more natural look. Also, It really helps to define cheekbones and the contours of the eyelid. contouring under the jawline, it just helps to make a more defined chiseled look to the face, which is so beautiful. Look at that. Okay, you'd almost think you were a supermodel in one in a lifetime before you're a doctor. Once upon a time. And then we have all these lipsticks. And they magnetize to each other. So they did a cute thing. We have this lip oil. How fun is that? No digging through your purse like me.

If you have a purse the size of a suitcase, they all stick together. You can find them easily. I'm a blender. Bronzer. Go like this and you can just do a little bit of where the sun would hit. That's really what I end up doing. I mean, do you see how it looks like there's a filter on the side of my face? I'm not that this looks bad, but you know, I like. I can't read anything. Let's guess. The one thing I think this is symphony pink. So these are. Hence their stains, you guys, i'm trying to do one half and not the other, Yeah.

You're really going to do the whole thing. I know. It's really hard. Listen, now one thing, these have crazy lasting power. They stay on your lips, but you do have to make sure what I like to, do is actually go over my lips with the brush when you're putting the compact on first. And it really gives you a nice definition around your. But you've got to let this step kind of soak in for a second. and then it will be locked in for hours. It will not come off no matter what. You could eat a sandwich, you could bite into a muffin, it is not going anywhere.

I mean, I have highlighter and a little bit of bronzer, but I could just go with that. They don't look bad. And I'm like, it's not thick. It feels like nothing. You never look that you are the definition of I woke up this way. I honestly, you're the worst person to be demonstrating our makeup because you look amazing without it. But I got to say, this lip tint is so unique because a lot of times these makeup stains, the lip stains They're like dry and your lips feel like a desert and you go to talk and can't even move your lip and it's like they're just so dry.

These are called butter lip tints because they feel Like butter. They are infused with collagen, ceramides, they hydrate, plump and wear beautifully on both lips and cheeks. You can also use if you want a little touch of color. On your cheeks you can highlight in your you know, like your eyelid just like a tiny little touch and then just, you blot it out, blend it, out and it then you have like, a whole look that's all blending together it looks so good. That's right, I forgot about the blush. Thank you.

So you could do that to you guys. eyebrow, just with the whatever shade darker, one or two shades darker. So not all of you might use the 27 as your bronzer or your highlighter. You might go to 25, might be yours if you're putting 17 or 21 on as you base. And what's amazing is you get, it comes with that and you a refill. Many people have been throwing out the box, not realizing a whole nother refill was inside the Yeah, many people threw them away. They're like, what? Yeah. Underneath, it's like two.

It's a two-fer. So it going to last you months. I mean, in many, people that's six months long, I might use it a little bit more because I wash my face and makeup and then film and do it again. What's your favorite color of the lipstick? I like symphony pink and brick red I Like the pink, and I liked blending it with the nude I I've never worn like bright red ever. But I'd like to kind of mix and match with colors and love using that you know, lush nude to be able to tone down the other colors a little bit to more in my comfort zone. So it's fun to have, I'm always a mix and matcher anyway. I love to kind of blend the tones together.

All right, well, a lot of people don't realize that women during their personal hygiene routine and getting ready in the morning, they can be exposed to over 80 different chemicals that are related to breast cancer or hormone disruption that can lead to other illnesses over time, as well as neurological issues in children and themselves, ADD, when we're younger and trying to function. Dementia as we get older, the longer toxins accumulate in our bodies.

So typically, Um, the average woman is, is you know, in the name of hygiene is intoxicating her system with the bioaccumulation of things that do not nourish ourselves and anything that does not Nourish or serve us in a constructive positive way is guess what? It is sucking the life out of us and the longer things soak up through our skin. It takes a lot of. biological energy reserve to be able to offset and get rid of those toxins. So the thing that drew me to this line was the standard that they set in the industry of avoiding over 3000 questionable ingredients that are commonly used in US skincare products that Riemann as a brand standard has taken the initiative to set a new bar in industry to avoid all of things.

And so They are a lot more in keeping with the European standards for formulation, which consciously avoid about 1800, but Riemann has set an even higher bar than what's allowed to be sold in Europe. So one of the things that you commonly see in US products is the abbreviation of PEG, and that stands for polyethylene glycol. Now, when you're working with US-based products, this is something that is cheaply made, it can be derived from petroleum. But in Europe, one of the standards is there's other ways to make it, which is actually derived form plants.

The processing and the standard that Riemann has in addition to avoiding those things, I've gotten a lot of people who kind of raise an eyebrow and they might not know the deep science of how products are formulated and that there are different echelons of quality. in the process. And so Riemann is a brand, again, under that umbrella of sometimes we just throw it out there for the general public by saying we're more in keeping with European standards. Those who know what that is might ask us on the side.

One of the things that I'm really passionate about is just empowering women to know that we have a band that they can trust. These are things we can use on our children. My daughters are in their 20s. I am so passionate helping women know how to create lifestyle and, and that will help them to have healthier babies.

You know, I only want to put things on my body that I know are contributing to my health and in the name of beauty. So many women, so many teenage girls are having difficulty with periods, PCOS, you know even acne and hormone disruptive issues, horrible mood swings. And it comes from the perfume that we breathe and all these things that do to try to be sexy and attractive. They're actually just sabotaging our health at a very cellular level. So the reason why I am passionate about joining with this brand is because of the cleanliness standards.

One of things might not be clear to people who don't have a chemistry background is that when we have the letters PEG on our lipstick products, it is according to the European standards, which technically it has tested at the finished goods level. The risk from the product comes in at if during the manufacturing process, chemicals can be given off and that chemical name is one for dioxane. And so as a brand standard, We take in products, we test those raw materials to make sure that there is no 1,4-dioxane in the product.

We also test our finished products to makes sure nothing has formed that has been risky in process there. So our lipsticks are tested for purity. There is, you know, no potential carcinogens in our products. and the emulsifiers that are necessary for it to have that butter-like feel are only sourced from the purest ingredients that not concerning to contribute to hormone disruption. So you won't find any shortcuts in our products, no green washing, pink washing. We have Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I've been on the board of a cancer nonprofit for over 10 years and one of the things we try to do is get rid of brands that will throw a pink ribbon on their product while they're selling a product that contributes to cancer forming in people's bodies.

So, you know, I don't want to call out any, any national brands. That do that, but it's basically just, companies trying to look like they are compassionate to protecting women from increasing their risk of cancer. And they really not, they just playing a marketing game and they still not committed to keeping those toxic ingredients out of their products. So this company doesn't do that. We don't have greenwashing, just clean, effective products that work that are certified to be free and tested to free of those concerning chemicals.

They're all still water! Two are going to kill you. One's going do it fast, one's gonna do moderately slow, and one is used in Korea for diabetes. Yeah, for hangovers. They use it as medicine. I mean, I was drinking it when I bathed in it. And I'm telling you, you feel off the charts when you can drink this. Personally, it's the next product that we just drink the water because that'd be fantastic. Shipping water in bottles to drink is incredibly expensive, and there's a lot of plastic involved, so blah, blah.

But they drink it in Korea. This Jeju water is a very special thing that you buy. And we are the only people allowed to use it. He's the one company in the world that can use in products.
