The Most Nutrient-Dense Food Your Eczema Kid Isn’t Eating with Chef James Barry

Change the nutrients and leave the food alone. Kids eat what feels safe, and texture is a big part of safe. James stirs about a quarter teaspoon of pure organ powder (or a third of an opened capsule) into the ketchup a child already loves, so the dino nuggets look the same and taste close to it while the plate gets more nourishing. Keep liver in the freezer and the cheese grater handy. Grate about a tablespoon of frozen liver into each pound of ground meat, or dice two or three chicken hearts like mushrooms and stir them into spaghetti sauce. Chicken hearts are milder than beef organs, which makes them an easy place to start. Build the meal plan around your calendar. James's test for any health habit is whether you can keep doing it. So the day full of meetings becomes a slow cooker day, and a grocery list written straight from the plan keeps the snacks you don't want out of the cart.

Biological Elegance and Relational Healing

Dr. Zach Bush argues that modern healthcare can become trapped in the belief that there is one solution to every problem. He challenges practitioners to move beyond isolated interventions and recognize the complexity and intelligence of living systems. Zach describes health as fundamentally relational. He believes patients hold important information about their own healing journey, and that practitioners can become more effective by listening deeply, asking better questions, and helping patients reconnect with their own biological intelligence. Zach sees interconnected communities and small groups as an important model for the future of healthcare. He explains how relationships, friction, shared experiences, and community can reveal patterns that may remain hidden in an individual practitioner-patient relationship.
