Key components include medication adherence and preventive care, managing co‑morbidities, regular physical activity, a balanced diet, stress management and monitoring mood, healthy relationships and communication, meaningful work or community involvement, and spiritual grounding. Emotional health and stress reduction are especially critical when living with an unpredictable illness, and multi‑disciplinary symptom management (physical therapy, psychology, nutrition, etc.) is often needed. Practical steps: follow your neurologist’s treatment plan, prioritize preventive care, build an exercise and nutrition routine that works for you, monitor mood/stress and seek psychological support when needed, and ask your care team about wellness programs (for example, community programs like Can Do) to help you thrive.
