Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical practice that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body. It is based on the belief that these points, along pathways called meridians, correspond to the flow of energy (known as qi) in the body. Acupuncture is commonly used for pain management, but it may also be employed to treat various conditions such as nausea, migraines, and musculoskeletal disorders. While the precise mechanisms of acupuncture are not fully understood, it is thought to stimulate the release of endorphins and modulate nerve signals. Acupuncture is generally considered safe when performed by trained practitioners.
