Menopause

Menopause marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years and typically occurs around the age of 45 to 55. It is a natural biological process when the ovaries gradually reduce their production of estrogen and progesterone hormones, leading to the cessation of menstruation. Menopausal symptoms can vary but often include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, and sleep disturbances. Some women may experience more severe symptoms that significantly impact their quality of life. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be considered to manage menopausal symptoms, but its use should be carefully discussed with a healthcare provider due to potential risks and benefits. Lifestyle modifications such as a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management can also help alleviate some menopausal symptoms. Learn more about menopause at our Menopause Summit!
