Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a well-established treatment for cancer and other diseases. Through breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized room, patients’ lungs can gather up to three times more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. I’m here at the Cancer Center For Healing in Irvine, California and it is my honor to be sitting here with Dr. Jolly, who we’ve been talking a little bit off camera just about the extraordinary benefits and history that this gentlemen has with hyperbaric oxygen treatment therapy, working with from children to who were missing

Even infants.

Infants who were wrongly infected with an AIDS virus to helping people with cancer and so there’s going to be a fascinating interview. Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, I really appreciate the opportunity to do this because it’s always good to expand our area of knowledge.
Nathan Crane
Absolutely. It’s one of my greatest joys is the work I get to do is not only do I get to learn from myself, but then get to help and share that with others as well and make an impact and a difference in people’s lives which you’ve been doing for decades. I mean, you were just talking a moment ago that you’re helping at the homeless shelters here which is, it definitely touches my heart because I’ve actually spent a lot of time over the years sitting and talking with homeless people and helping homeless people and teaching and educating. I have some longer-term missions to really help homeless people and this isn’t about this interview, this isn’t just about homeless people obviously, but it just speaking to your integrity and your heart and your compassion in caring for those in need. And I can already tell I’m gonna really enjoy my time with you.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, I hope so.
Nathan Crane
So, you are sharing with me a little bit ago, over 35 years now, you first got into hyperbaric oxygen or oxygen therapy. Can you talk a little bit about what got you there.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Yeah, it’s about almost 40 years and I was working with Dr. David Hughes in London. He had called me and asked me to go help him and it turned out that a lot of babies in Romania were infected with the AIDS virus and they wanted me to go to Romania with them and I was completely like, what in the world am I gonna do? What’s going on? I have no clue.
Nathan Crane
And you were in medical school at this time?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
No, I was, but and I had to leave but the doctors that went there were gonna treat these AIDS babies and try to heal them. They were infected erroneously. There was the AIDS virus that was put into vials and I dunno how, people were drunk or something but this got injected into lots of babies. And so we went and Dr. David said, we must use oxygen. Oxygen is magic and of course it is meant to keep us alive but most people don’t realize that oxygen is a drug. It’s an actual drug and it’s under the auspices of the FDA.

Wow.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And the reason it’s a drug is because it’s dosable and it does different things at different doses and it fixes certain diseases and creates acceleration of healing and all kinds of things. So I became an expert in that because I’m surrounded by these physicians who did it all the time and I’m in a foreign country, I didn’t have anything else to do except every day, 24 hours except for my sleeping time was absolutely just generating information on what to do, how to do it and I, they say I became an expert. And we had many healings, and we had wonderful, wonderful results in Romania with the baby.
Nathan Crane
What kind of results?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
That’s how it all started. Well, these babies were injected with the wrong stuff. They had this stuff that they took the needles and took it out, it was infected and it should have been a nutrient that they were given.
Nathan Crane
And they gave him AIDS or HIV virus instead of instead of nutrients?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Yeah, exactly.
Nathan Crane
Wow! That’s a pretty big mistake to make.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
It was big panic in Romania and the president and I don’t know what his name was even, I don’t remember, but he went to Dr. Hughes and said, we need help, we don’t know what to do. And Hughes was a wild man. I mean, he would take any challenge and work with it and usually come out successfully.
Nathan Crane
Wow!
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
So I volunteered, a doctor from New Orleans Medical Center volunteered and several other doctors, she was a female two other male doctors came, we all went over there and we had great results.
Nathan Crane
And how are you administering the oxygen then?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, we started out just using oxygen masks, but oxygen under pressure is magnificent because we can put hundreds of times more oxygen into a body and that’s why downstairs in the Center for New Medicine here, we have hyperbaric department. Hyperbaric means higher than normal pressure and when you have a gas under pressure, it will dissolve into a liquid. So, when I go into a hyperbaric chamber and breathe 100% oxygen, that oxygen is being multiplied magnificently depending upon the pressure because the pressure determines the dosage and magic can happen. I was involved in treating some race horses, $7 million race horses that had, that was the cost of each horse that had this infection, it was a flesh-eating bacteria basically and they were gonna die and I said, no, they don’t have to die. Well, what do you mean, they don’t have to die? They don’t have to die. Let’s find, there’s a horse chamber and if they go in the horse hyperbaric chamber, have a 100% oxygen, two times a day, maybe three times a day, we can get rid of the flesh-eating bacteria. We did it!

Wow!
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
We did it!
Nathan Crane
How long did that take?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
It took about six weeks.
Nathan Crane
Okay.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, it probably took less, but we didn’t test
Nathan Crane
Save a $7 million horses life in about six weeks. That’s incredible!
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And it’s not real comfortable because when you go under pressure, your ears-
Nathan Crane
Like in an airplane?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Yeah, exactly, but it’s worse because the pressure is more and then you learn how as a human being to alleviate that pressure, but the horses can’t do that. So they suffer a bit, but they live, they get rid of the problem and so it’s very exciting actually. And then of course, we started doing it with people because they got the flesh-eating bacteria, human beings rather than cut off their leg the first thing you try, hyperbaric therapy and most people still don’t know that. Very sad.

Wow.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And hyperbarics is not a treatment that’s well known at all and most hospitals have hyperbaric chambers but they only use them for a few things like diving problems, when a diver comes up too fast and they have to go in the hyperbaric chamber and have the pressure change and go through all this oxygenation process and it saves their life and brings them back to normality. But it also does magic for so many other things. And the team of people I worked with are all in heaven now I’m the only one left and that’s sad because I can’t get anybody excited and interested in doing anything because it doesn’t make enough money for them. So that’s very sad, right?
Nathan Crane
Well, hopefully our audience, which is tens of thousands of people around the world will be excited about, learning more about hyperbarics.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Absolutely.
Nathan Crane
So tell us about hyperbarics in cancer. How does it help people with cancer?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, we’re finding out, we’re still finding out but what it does is it gets the body in much better shape and the immune system in much better shape to deal with the cancer. And with the replication rate of the cancer, also diet is very important. because some of the things that we eat are killing us. Sugar is an evil demon from hell! And I try to tell people that. It reduces your immune system capability and it does all kinds of crazy things to our body and we’re all addicted to it. We’re all addicted to it. So we got to get rid of that completely in every way, shape and form. Even some foods that are carbs that convert to sugar, we need to understand how to ingest nutrients without poisoning ourselves. So, I’m into that but I’ll tell you, people don’t like to do it. They wanna eat what they eat because it tastes good.
Nathan Crane
Yeah, unfortunately we have a society that we didn’t learn about health growing up. We didn’t learn about whole foods and natural foods and how to eat and all that. We just had people starting corporations to make as much money as possible with as much processed fast food as you possibly can get people their food in and out and make the money, right and unfortunately, not recognizing I think, most of them that that whole societal industry of this processed food market for convenience and ease and profitability and mass production has also contributed to mass disease.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
My opinion is that you are absolutely right and that people are dying every day who did not need to leave this earth yet.
Nathan Crane
That’s so true, it’s so true.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And if you look at the stuff that’s put in some of the foods and if we eat those kinds of foods all the time, we’re gonna probably, I don’t know, 20, 25 years they say of dying early, that’s not good. And then the problems that ensue the medical issues that ensue make it miserable for the poor patient and we keep eating the junk.
Nathan Crane
We’ve got to stop with the junk, right? We got to stop putting the junk in. So back to oxygen, how does oxygen enhance the immune system?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
So, you can dose oxygen. For example, if someone has a terrible infection, we put them in the hyperbaric chamber at a very deep pressure, and we’re able to increase the level of oxygen in their body so much that most disease processes cannot compete with it.
Nathan Crane
Why is that?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Because that’s what oxygen does. It’s what a poison does to your ants that are crawling on the floor. You put the poison on them and they can’t exist.
Nathan Crane
Because we know that cancer specifically, right it requires more of an anaerobic environment, right oxygen deprivation…
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
It will definitely replicate better.
Nathan Crane
Replicate better, so by infusing the body with more oxygen, you’re making more of an aerobic environment and you’re gonna help to slow down the cancer.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
That’s correct.
Nathan Crane
Fascinating, yeah.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
But you see, it’s not alone, you don’t do that alone.
Nathan Crane
Sure.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
For example sugar. I preach constantly, sugar is an evil demon from hell do not eat sugar and don’t eat the stuff that converts to sugar in your body. The Seventh-day Adventist, I went to school for a while at Loma Linda and all of those people were so healthy and wonderful and I ate in the cafeteria. Man, all we ate was vegetables.
Nathan Crane
That’s the blue zone here in the U.S., right? Is that considered the blue zone, some of the healthiest oldest people?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Yeah, the people in Loma Linda they’re Seventh-day Adventists and they all go to church together. And when I was there, I lived in an apartment with the people I went to their church, I went to my church as well. I was very churchy in those days and it was magnificent.
Nathan Crane
And you ate lots and lots of vegetables?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
We ate, everything was vegetables, but they made things like magic things that we don’t even know exist out of their vegetables.
Nathan Crane
Like what kind of thing?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, like we had something like a meatloaf made with different vegetables and they put it in a machine like a…
Nathan Crane
Like a dehydrator maybe?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, that was the first thing and then they put it in where it grinds all up and they make meatloaf stuff out and they flavor.
Nathan Crane
Plant-based meatloaf.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Exactly, and it tastes wonderful. And they don’t just feed you carrots and potatoes and whatever A lot of people think vegetarians are so bored. They’re not bored. They have more pleasure eating than we do.
Nathan Crane
My wife and I, and our kids we’ve been totally vegan plant-based for well over 10 years.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And look at you.
Nathan Crane
And I’ll tell you what, we get to enjoy a plethora of all kinds of delicious foods.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Absolutely. and my comment would be, nobody would ever believe you’re 82 years old.
Nathan Crane
Exactly! I’ll be 83 next month.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Amen.

Well, thank you so much. I appreciate your time. I certainly look forward to continuing to see more information around hyperbaric oxygen therapy and I hope people got some good information around it. Is there anything else about oxygen therapy that people should know about?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
First of all, it’s magic because it keeps us alive. Without it for a few minutes, gone!
Nathan Crane
We have to have oxygen to live and breathe, right?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And it’s been declared a drug by the FDA because it’s dosable. Now what does that mean? It means at different levels of oxygen do different things and you can accelerate healing dramatically, dramatically by going in a hyperbaric chamber which is a chamber that has pressure in it and breathing 100% oxygen your healing level will increase dramatically and some people who would never heal I’ve seen horrible accident. We had an here, in this place we had in the Center for New Medicine a patient come in that was driving in the car and this big mess of metal came off of a truck went through the window and completely destroyed her face.

Wow.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
And the plastic surgeons worked on her for four months, she came for hyperbaric therapy every day starting with short treatments and then going longer and then going every other day for longer treatments and she’s now a beautiful young lady, again.
Nathan Crane
Really?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Amazing!
Nathan Crane
No plastic surgery?
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Well, they did a little bit of plastic surgery but I would never have done anything without the roots of healing underneath. and the only way that happened, oxygen.
Nathan Crane
Wow.
Dr. Gabriel Jolly
Yeah. And she was our patient. She, came here, she was at the Whitaker Wellness Institute and then when I came here, I brought her here and she finished her healing here and now she’s incredible.

Wow.

Yeah.
