The B17 Story: 50 Years of Survival, Controversy & the Forgotten Enzyme Connection

TV Show Host, True Health: Body, Mind, Spirit

Founder of Operation World Without Cancer
What if one of the most controversial chapters in integrative cancer care is also one of the least understood?
In this remarkable conversation, John Richardson Jr. and Rick Hill revisit the history of B17/laetrile, apricot kernels, pancreatic enzymes, and the nutritional protocols that became widely discussed in the 1970s.
Rick shares his extraordinary personal story of being diagnosed with advanced cancer at age 24, leaving the Mayo Clinic, traveling to Mexico, and following a comprehensive nutritional program that included B17 and enzymes. More than five decades later, he is still here to tell the story.
John Richardson Jr. also shares the legacy of his father, Dr. John Richardson, who became one of the most prominent physicians associated with this approach and treated thousands of patients before losing his medical license amid intense controversy.
You’ll also hear why both men place such strong emphasis on proteolytic pancreatic enzymes, how they believe enzymes may affect the tissue environment around cancer, and why they see B17 as only one piece of a much larger nutritional picture.
This interview is part personal testimony, part medical history, and part exploration of a deeply debated approach that continues to generate strong opinions more than 50 years later.

Well, this going to be an absolute treat. We have both John Richardson Jr with us. We have Rick Hill. There are powerful dynamic duo. We're going to dig deep into a tool that has been used for for decades.
You know. Well much longer than that. But I would say that the, you know, awareness of it has been, you know, since 70s 80s and really impacted so many people on their cancer journey for the better.
So, John, Rick, thank you so much for being with me here today. Thank you so much, doctor. It's my pleasure. It's it's exciting to be here with Rick, who has a fantastic story that your audience will not believe.
They're going to think, that it's that we just found him, you know, make believe. But it's really a true story. And there's a lot more stories like Rick's, but it's a fantastic story.
So it's it's my pleasure to be here. I always love being around you. And you're. It's such a great mission that you have, that you're that you're opening up people's minds to alternative answers to diseases that that have not been solved by the, by modern medicine.
So I would I've seen kind of the statement on church that that that you guys been wearing it that cancer is a deficiency disease can do you mind expanding expanding on that John.
Yeah. I was going to let Rick step in but but I, I will I will say I believe it's a deficiency disease not just of one compound or another, but a lot of different factors that might be, you know, it could be as simple as enzymes, or it could be simple as, you know, the minerals or things that your body needs to allow your immune system to operate properly.
B17, which we're experts at in the enzymes and B15, for that matter, we're experts on that. But those are just just some of the keys for that. You can be deficient in and and developed cancer.
And so a lot of people think of cancer as something that you catch or that's in your genes or that comes from 5G or smoking cigarettes, but all of those things exacerbate or destroy your immune system.
And so we say, if you if you have the proper nutrition, you won't have a deficiency. And you can your body will be you can allow your body to fight off all sorts of diseases, including cancer.
And so one of the things that's been happening is that, you know, us modern life, we we like things that taste good. We like things that are comfortable.
You know, we always want to kind of minimize stress in our body. And we think things that are bitter, you know, we, we want to stay away from. So we selectively have grown like almonds and different seeds and nuts and kind of getting rid of some of those bitter compounds that obviously people feel is to their taste buds.
And because we have then selectively gotten rid of those, we are then becoming deficient in those components that naturally existed in these seeds. And so now and B17 is one of them.
And and because of that now we are deficient B17 and yeah, maybe there's a correlation why there's more cancer. Because we don't have that protective substance in us.
Yeah. And like I said I don't want to answer all the questions. Rick's brilliant with this kind of stuff. But I go right to the fact that that all societies that have a high level of B17 across the world in their diet have a lower incidence of cancer.
That's been well studied, the Hans's of northern Pakistan, it's well known that they live to be in their 120, 131 guy was said to be 162. Believe it or not, they they found him at an airport.
He was flying an airport and his documented history from the Hunza. But if they eat a normal Americanized or European ized diet, they die of cancer just as quickly as the rest of us.
But they eat hundreds of apricot seeds a day, and a lot of people listening go, well, those apricot seeds are bitter. But the Migdal itself, like you said, is found in 2200 different foods.
And most of those foods do have a bitter taste when. And so a lot of times we've cooked that that bitterness out. We've, we've GMO it out. We've, we've we add flavorings.
We had almost all of which is not good for us. And so you're absolutely right that we say the more bitter the better. And that's it's a compound B17 that's been systematically deleted from the American diet and a lot of other westernized diets.
Whereas Tajikistan, where we have an employee named Red that works with a company that does our videos, he grew up in Tajikistan and they don't have any cancer, but they eat apricot seeds.
It's like weeds. He's he said as a child. And he talked to his mom and said, do we know anybody? Our family has cancer and they don't. So that is an anecdotal story that happens.
And so we find that the people that regularly eat apricot seeds, you know, or amygdala, have a lower incidence of developing cancer in the first place.
Yeah. And Rick, tell me a little bit about your story in regards to B17. How how did B17 apricot seeds. How did that impact you? I sort of got fished out of the cause of death in 1974.
I was 24 years old. I was at the Mayo Clinic. If you want to know what. That's my Fonzie hairdo. I was a a Detroit greaser and was at the Mayo Clinic for about a month, had the exploratory surgery because there were no scans, and they found cancer in my neck.
They founded in my feet. It was a my lymphatics everywhere. So they closed me up and said, well, we're going to start chemo as soon as you're able to tolerate it, so is the time.
But we're going to build your insurance company anyway. And I went, yes, doctor, what do I know? I'm not a mayo clinic doctor. And I agreed to it. And then a Baptist pastor stuck his big nose in my business.
And and that was a turning point for me. And he sent me a letter, ten cent stamp. And it said, Dear Rick. If you want to live, you're going to have to leave the Mayo Clinic.
And he signed it. John. Different John, than this one that I wasn't it wasn't sending out letters at that point. But even though you do look pastor like, you know. Yes.
And the stamps are now instead of ten cent stamps, I just bought one yesterday $0.81. So we know the story is, is we know Rick's being, you know historical.
So $0.10 now. So I called the guy he had his phone number under there. And I'm going to shrink this for time. But I called him up and said, John, whatever it is you're smoking, I would like you to send me some because I'm on morphine.
I'm down to 120 pounds and I'm starting to get in a bad mood. He laughed and he said, Rick, I know you don't smoke. You know I don't smoke. What is it you want to say? Don't go back?
And I said, well, well, John, you're a bright guy, I know you. I've heard you speak in chapel, but I'm at the Mayo Clinic. Man, isn't that the citadel of modern medicine?
He said, yeah it is. Why would you want me to leave there? He said, here's why. Couple of my members, church members went that flew in the San Diego, crossed the border, I said border. They went to Tijuana for this.
He went, yeah, yeah, I had been there and I'm not throwing Detroit was no prize package. Okay. But Taiwan, I don't think it's a Mecca for medicine now.
It's getting to be that. But not back then. And I said, and then what? And he said, well, they stayed there a month and they came back on the mend. Rick.
Not cured, but on the mend. I couldn't believe it. I said, neither do I. And I said, this is easy. I said, so I'm not going to fight. Well, by the way, what did they do for your people down there?
He went like this. Like, man, when he hears this, he's going to hang up on me. Here's what they said. It's a natural food product. I said, well, that's good.
And I said, what could that be? And he said, well, it's derived from apricots. So I said, I just don't know what to do, but I'm going to I have an appointment with the chemo therapist in about an hour.
So to make this end, I went to the chemo therapist and we sat down and said, well, we're going to start on Monday. How are you feeling that that, that.
And I said, hey, I got to tell you, I got the dumbest phone call from a Baptist pastor of all people. He thinks I ought to go to Mexico and have apricot oil injected in my veins.
Have you ever heard of anything so stupid in your. And he leaned back in his chair. And he does one of these, and he goes, you know, Rick, it is warm in Tijuana this time of year.
And I just went, what? And he just wouldn't say more, you know, smart guy. He's not going to risk a $300,000 a year job by saying we'll go down there.
No. So, so the the college is essentially kind of underhanded, gave you the blessing. You know, I know what we're able to do for you here. And it's not going to be pretty for you.
And, and and I know that you know, you're, you're you're dying and yes, we can throw these things at you so we can say that we've done something and we can build insurance for it to make the, you know, the hospital happy, but it's not going to be a good outcome for you.
So go enjoy the beaches and Mexico and and do that. Well, my whole family had flown in at their behest and said, look, it's time. That's how they described it.
It's time I'm down 120 pounds. I'm on morphine. I'm not. I'm I am suffering. Okay. And so that night at dinner, I told my family. What about this? And my younger brother, my older brother Sam.
Sam Hill. You can believe that, said Ricky. We always knew you were stupid, but we didn't know how bad it was. And I looked around the table for a friendly face, came to my dad and he went diddle and I thought this was going well, but my father in law stood up and said, I like it.
I'll take him down there and I'll help pay for it. Two days later, I'm in Tijuana and this Detroit greaser had gone down the rabbit hole. There was nothing in that world that I could identify with.
And I want your viewers to know that you don't have to be a tree hugger for this to work. You don't have to have pledged your, you know, never. I just looked at those people like something that crawled out under a log.
You know, I was the only one in the room wearing underwear. This is not my crowd. I'm a conservative guy. But three weeks later, Doc John will testify.
I knew his dad. Three weeks later, I left on the mend off morphine color coming back, gained a couple of pounds and continued to get well for the next year until Doctor and SEO Contreras said to me, I'm finding nothing in your tumor markers now.
Nothing zero. But he said to me, if you get off your diet. You're an idiot. And I said, hey, I hold it. You know, I came to you because I wanted to live and for and for five years I stayed on that program.
So I'm here to testify. It was John's father and my doctor, Contreras, that had led that early path. And we listened, and. But his family took the slings and arrows they really suffered for.
And John can tell you that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. John. So to tell obviously your dad was the one that was part of that journey. Can you talk a little bit about your dad and be 17 and his life and what he was seeing?
Because obviously he was utilizing that a lot and he was seeing some phenomenal results. Yeah. And it's a funny story because the doctor Contreras, the original Doctor Contreras was friends with dad.
I you know, I knew them. The current head, Francisco Contreras, was contemporary of mine. We were younger and so we hung out and went to dinners together.
I went to events in Mexico during that time. So the history goes way back. And so it's it's a great story, but it ties in because Rick also he didn't get a chance to mention it, but he also spoke to the to the Congress alongside my dad.
He kind of stole the thunder of my dad a little bit because he he threatened six of the B-17 capsules right in front of the. Then they were all saying it was poison.
He and so he took six of the B-17 capsules up, up on Capitol Hill. And they were all watching, waiting for him to start foaming at the mouth for the B-17.
So it's really funny when Rick tells the story, but that's what dad, dad was a medical doctor, but he spent a lot of his time after he was helping people in courthouses, in courtrooms all across the country, and he was fighting the battle.
They were they were suing him out of existence. They were raiding him. They were. And all for the the simple fact that he was healing people. He had come from a, you know, University of Rochester medical medical school education.
He did his his postgraduate at NYU, a Mary Jean Bassett Hospital in New York City, and he was highly decorated. But when he got into practice and he was doing ear, nose and throat specialty, he found that when when people would show up with diagnosed cancer, that he would send him off to the oncology department, and they would especially in the face, they would disfigure them and destroy their lives with these treatments secure.
So much that my dad was just said, there's got to be a better way. And so he started in the late 60s really researching what Doctor Krebs was doing. Doctor Krebs senior was the doctor, the MD that used B-17 in the 1920s.
And he was kind of the pioneer of it. It just so happened that dad was the face of it, because he was a prominent MD that was actually practicing in the 70s.
And so he the media was coming to him and things like that, so that he made himself a target, whereas Doctor Krebs did it quietly. Doctor Ernst Krebs in San Francisco.
He was treating people successfully as well. But he he wasn't. He was more of a PhD as a scientist. And so when dad started treating people at his practice, it all started with our family cat.
And that's going to be in our documentary. We're actually starting to film a documentary and it's all about the family cat. Spooky, because that cat and I got some cats roaming around here, developed cancer, and dad had studied about it, but never used it on any of his patients because he knew of the liability that came along with using anything natural.
In the 70s, it was unheard of. And so he tried. He used the Doctor Krebs protocol of the B17, the enzymes, which will tell you how important the enzymes are if you want.
If you want, you might take the rest of the show though. No. And then and the B15. So he used that protocol in our family. Cat who was told that the veterinary said it would be it would be dead.
And in six months, basically even with chemo and radiation, the cat lived another seven years. We as kids were ecstatic and dad said there may be something here.
And so that's when he brought into his practice, and that's when he seven years later, he wrote his book. He treated over 6000 patients, believe it or not, just writing that 7 or 8 years, his facility and his practice.
And then they took away his license in 1978. They took away his license. He then moved to practice in Mexico at a clinic called American Biologics. And he continued practicing at a clinic in Reno, Nevada.
But he was constantly he he never had any patients who were mad at him. He never had any patients that wanted to sue them. He just had the government agencies and the big pharma, you know, supported entities going after him.
And and that's that was kind of unfortunately, dad had when he was a pioneer and he was the lead dog, he was being attacked by everybody. And so he he would be very proud of what's going on now because we really are great doctors like you are continuing that mission.
And we have doctors every, every week that are, that are gaining on this, that they're having tremendous success with this, along with other natural metabolic treatments.
Yeah. And the B17 is as one of the tools that I think it is just phenomenal. And and that's why I do both intravenously. In addition to utilizing the the B17 supplementation B15, the enzymes.
And yeah, obviously we're going to talk a little bit more about about the enzymes as well. But it's interesting in regards to vitamin B17. You know when I, when I, when I go to ChatGPT, I probably have had more arguments with ChatGPT in regards to B17 than anything else that I've had.
It's like it refuses to recognize the science behind it and and the impact that B17 has, you know, it, it just says, oh, dangerous. You know, cyanide poisoning.
You gotta I mean, all of these things. So can can you can I debunk the cyanide thing for me? Absolutely, absolutely. I'd like Rick to talk about two and his his. Yeah.
The doctor, Margaret Aranda, who is a graduate of Stanford University, she was the head of anesthesiology at Philadelphia Hospital and the Los Angeles Hospital as well.
She was the head and she her husband got urinary tract cancer anyway, the proper name. But he got that. And one of the things she used was apricots, along with ozone and mistletoe and other things.
But she she used it for her husband as an MD, and he he responded, and he's cancer free now. So she did a deep dive and she is a researcher. So she does all this.
And she looked at every single NIH case history, study everything. And she found after a deep dive that she couldn't find a single, not one single death in the United States over overdose of apricot seeds, or B17.
She did, however, find a couple cases in the 1960s in, like Turkey of some small girls that had that said that ingested too much apricot seeds and two of them passed away.
So that was all what she could find. But when she did Deeper Dive, she found that these two girls were road and nase deficient. And they never they never announced that.
And so, you know, the science behind rodents, rodents is the enzyme that our healthy cells uses to to break down the cyanide that's released when the amygdala comes in contact with beta glucosidase, which is only found in high levels of cancer cells.
It's also found a little bit in the in your colon system, very small amounts. And so sometimes people can't get it released, but always find rodents. And higher levels in the healthy cells and rodents turns the cyanide and benzaldehyde into benzoic acid and cyanide, which are both they're both analgesics and they can actually cause numbness.
I've had some people that get a numbness of the tongue when that happens, and it could cause numbness, but it does not cause cyanide poisoning. It's it's actually biochemically impossible.
According to Doctor James Beard, Doctor Harold Manor, it's biochemically impossible because of the way your body's system works. Now, these two girls did die in Pakistan in 1962, but like I said, Margaret, when she did her research and she's got the whole all the documentation, so people go, well, there's there was two deaths in Pakistan in 1962.
Well, how many deaths are there every month from chemotherapy, the side effects of chemotherapy. And I'm not I'm not here to tell everybody, you know, all chemotherapy is horrible and nobody can ever survive anything like that.
But I'm here to say that many, many people die from chemotherapy and radiation, but their organs being destroyed. And so two deaths in Pakistan in 1962 don't warrant the amount of Google searches and ChatGPT.
I argue with ChatGPT all the time. I you know, I talk about Harold Doctor Harold Manor who who said, you know about Harold Manor. He said that this would be the death of cancer, that we should never have mastectomies ever again.
After a five year study on Littrell at Loyola University, he wrote a book and a second book, and he died the same month as my dad before his second book was published.
But we do have a copy of it. But Harold Manor proved it at Loyola University that that breast cancer should be a thing of the past. And he used vitamin A pancreatic enzymes which which I'd love to have Rick talk about and B17 and he did studies on, on on animals and then on humans.
And then the last story with Harold Manners, he was he was forced to resign, take a leave of absence for a year because he had so much pressure from the pharmaceutical companies.
But during that year he was out teaching doctors at clinics, some of whom some of whom were still practicing. To this day. He was teaching doctors how to do his therapy, but they all had to do it kind of hush, hush and underground.
And so there's some some clinics in Chicago that are still doing, doing it underground, you know, from being trained by Doctor Harold Manner, he, you know, in the 1970s.
So, yeah. And so, Rick, you were around when all of this was going on with John's dad and, and, you know, a congressional hearing and you were you're still alive.
You know, you weren't foaming at the mouth from from cyanide poisoning. So can you kind of give me a little bit of a flavor of what what you were seeing, you know, in the medical world, judicial, the, you know, legislative that was taking place around the issue of B17.
Let me, let me, let me just give you a little. Rick, I just want to give you a little hint, because I really want if you don't tell the story, I really want you to mention how what what would happen when you would go out to speak because people talk about, if this is real, why don't people believe it?
But when you would go to speak what what the establishment would do to you? But anyway, I don't want to interrupt you. I just wanted to make sure you got to tell that story, because I think it's fascinating.
No, the government sick the American Cancer Society on me and my little book Two young, Two Young to Die had sold about 200, 100,000 copies. Okay, let's put it that way, that I sold.
I've given away that many to. But when I would speak in the 70s and there was a newspaper in that town, they would publish a report on it. My picture with my story, American Cancer Society, if they could find out I was going to be there, would send a reporter with to me, sit in my audience.
And the next day in the newspaper, my article is here, there's this there right across the street. Yeah. And I can tell you what it said. It said. As for the testimony offered, it may be that he never had cancer in the first place.
Never had cancer. That's the first time it's happened to me. So the point I'm making is I eventually wrote the Mayo Clinic after they had done three of these in a row and said, I'm suing you because you have misdiagnosed me.
According to the American Cancer Society, they said you I never had cancer in the first place. And I and I said, and I'm getting an attorney and I'm going to own the third floor of Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
I'm coming for you. The Rambo thing, So they wrote back to me overnight. Overnight? This letter right here, it's in my book came. And that said, in regard to your question that people have asked whether you actually did have cancer in the first place, you are entirely right that you had stage three high grade in a germ cell embryonic cell carcinoma.
Yeah, you were right. And so I didn't say what would that do, you know, because they admitted the whole thing. But they said when I left the Mayo Clinic, chemotherapy was mandatory.
They said you didn't get well and just take a vacation. No, you were going to die if you left here. So when I was being treated, if you said if you said to me.
You can only take one thing, I would pick the enzymes and I'll tell you why. Because in 1902, John Beard John talked about Doctor John Beard was an embryologist in Scotland, and he was looking at his microscope one day where he had drawn some fluid from an embryo.
And he said to the guy sitting next to him, what does this look like to you? The guy he heard in there and he said, looks like cancer cells. And John Beard said, that's exactly what that is.
Then he noticed a little while later gone. And what he discovered is that the baby's own pancreas flooded that little body with chymotrypsin and trypsin.
Yeah, those are pancreatic enzymes that a normal person, healthy, that hadn't destroyed it was smoking and drinking and worrying and you know. Yeah. And so he took a dulce harvested not from the babies but from cows.
Organically raised a chymotrypsin and trypsin and gave them large amounts of it. Cancer gone. No B-17. B-17 was the backup plan. B-17 was where the cop gets on the microphone and says, send back up because you got too much.
That was probably me. It was in my entire body. And even though I was taking the B-17, you know, the enzymes, let me tell you what they did. I'm not trying to be gross, but I love it when I do.
They were giving me retention enemas. Can we talk of pancreatic enzymes? I remember the syringe and the long tube. That was lube then. Okay, here we go. Just breathe.
Just breathe. And I'm going. Yeah. This is what every 24 year old is wishing for, you know, to have a huge syringe just plunged into the rectum. No. Not now. They don't do this anymore.
Okay, but then the nurse who couldn't speak a word of English would hit that plunger, and it took about ten minutes and I'd be going. And then she would say, hold 25 minutes now, 25 minutes.
I had to hold on to that. So we're walking around with our pinched butts around the clinic, and this little clinic had only two bathrooms, and there were 60 of us getting the treatment.
So we're lined up down the hall going anytime, anytime. You did, you did you guys have extra buckets just in case, you know, just so you could sit down.
You can't make this stuff up. So today they don't do that. See this is not a retention in a month. This is a nice chymotrypsin capsule that I take every day so that I don't get it again.
But I'll tell you what this is, doc. This is my cop on the beat. Because this guy dissolves the protein on my cancer cells. I develop any and like Doctor Soon says it masks it.
So the cancer cells are hidden. Okay. He uses low dose chemo to unmask it, which he can still build big pharma for. Okay, they're still in the game, but this does the same thing.
So RNC store com and you sell that stuff and and so I take it every day and I've got a cop on the beat all the time. So I've even you know I'm an old guy.
Where can you read that? I have to write on the lid. What time to take it. I used to see my grandfather do this with bits coming up their nose. Yeah, I'm one of those kids.
But thank God, only one more little picture to show you. And it's right here. It was right here. And I'm curious, did they retract? Because here they've written all these articles in newspapers.
You know, you know, retraction, no retraction. And I was busy helping people. But for the second time, you say lightning can't strike twice, Oh, yes it can.
Who's that? John. That's my son. I'm standing outside. Frank. Cousin O's cancer control society, and this little kid walks by. I've just spoken in the in the ballroom, and I'm outside grabbing a hair.
He walks by with that shirt. I think you can read it later. Works. So I yell at this kid, hey, kid, I like your t shirt. He turns around and says, thanks.
Who are you? I said, my name is Rick Hill, but who are you? He says, well, I'm Jason Richardson. I said, Richardson, I did the math. How old is he? How old was I?
Was your daddy Doctor Richardson? He said no, that that was my grandpa. And he. And he died already. And I said, no. I know that actually, I heard that.
I'm sorry that that happened, but I said, what's going on? Why are you wearing that t shirt? Because I take that stuff every day. He says, well, my dad's inside.
He's got a booth. Why don't you come in and meet him? His name is John Richardson. And so I'm scurrying after this little kid through the thing. I come up and here's John and here's Ryan and here's Jason.
I thought I could hear angels singing, and the first thing I did was I looked around and see if there were a guy with a bulge in his coat going, you know.
A lot of the agencies there. Yeah. So I love it. Yeah. So that's that's the reconnection. And the other connection we had after that was that we got the vault from the Cancer Control Society.
And I know we've all talked about that, but your audience may not know what that is. We had three huge containers with, I think something like 36 pallets of, of books and documents and records.
And one of those books and documents records was a loose leaf copy of Rick Hill's book, Too Young to Die. And it was kind of like another wink from God that the book was falling apart.
It was it was someone had it clipped on. So I reached out to Rick again and said, hey, Rick, remember me? John Richardson? He said, yeah, I remember you, John.
And I said, you know what? I just found your book. He said, oh my gosh, how did you get a copy of that or whatever the conversation was? So, Rick republished it and has been telling the story and, and letting people know about this.
And, and he's he's found other people just like him. He's found. You can tell the story, Rick. If you if if we can fit it in. But he's found other people that were treated the exact same time as him using the protocol with enzymes B17 and B15 at the at the Contreras clinic.
Now for a period of time, we will say full disclosure. The clinic went away from the enzymes. They weren't doing the enzymes as much, and Rick was having a constant discussion with them about it, about how important he believed the enzymes were, and I believe how important they are.
Because, again, if you can't get to the metastatic cancer with the B17 and the ozone and the mistletoe and all the other things, if you can't get to the killing of that because of this protein coding, then it's just going to bounce off it like a kid bouncing on a trampoline.
So that's that's the important part of that message that B17 works and these other things work. But the enzymes really help bare the soul of that, that tumor to allow the the killing agents to do their job.
Yeah, yeah. So it's essentially just to kind of kind of wrap my head around this. So you have cyanide, you know, that everyone freaks out about thinking you get it, get cyanide poisoning when you take up record seeds.
So, you know, it would be a lot of people, you know, in history that would be dead. And I would assume that they would have stopped taking the neighbor called seeds if they saw that, you know, the other people in the tribe, they were passing out, you know, passing on.
So essentially you have the cyanide and there's this structure around it. And like you're saying, there's this, this enzyme that exists in high quantities in cancer cells. Yes.
Healthy cells, they have a low quantity of them. But in cancer cells it's a high quantity. And and that cannot that's the enzyme that helps open up that cage to release a cyanide happens aldehyde.
Yeah. And benzaldehyde which is also a deadly. Some people say it's more poisonous than Sinai. I'm not saying that to scare you. I'm just saying how effective the Mignola can be if it sees a free floating cancer cell, or even an actively metastasizing cancer cell.
That's where B17 has been proven by by Sloan Kettering documented and Harold Manor and and Houston Memorial. That's where the literal the B17 is the most effective when it's stopping the metastasizing, fast growing cancers or free floating cancer before it is actually metastasized, based on what you're saying.
Yeah. And then the healthy cells, they have a large quantity of an enzyme that cancer cells don't have much of to be able to protect themselves against the cyanide and any of this other compound.
So essentially you have the protective aspect in the healthy cells. And then you have the key to open up the cage in the cancer cells. So it becomes like a Trojan horse that then gets delivered into the tumor tissue.
And then in addition to that, then bringing the enzymes, that helps to declare the cancer so that the immune system is able to recognize it and and go after it.
Exactly. You I couldn't say it any better. And that's exactly what it is. And it's what they've spent trillions, literally trillions of dollars trying to develop chemotherapeutic agents, which Doctor Khanna, Mezzo Segura was credited with being the inventor of chemotherapy.
He is the same doctor, the exact same doctor that tested B17 at Sloan-Kettering, and said it was the most effective natural agent he had ever tested against cancer, and that he was it was covered up.
That's that's in the in the the movie called Second Opinion. And it's also in the book World Without Cancer talking about Doctor Segura. So we've known this.
That's the thing. We've known this when I say we the the society as a whole has known the effects of B17 and the enzymes because it's been proven over and over again, but it's been constantly covered up.
And what people say, oh, that's that can't be that. Who would do that? Why would anybody do that? Because of the almighty dollar. They literally have have seen proof that it works over it up.
And that's what they did. Sloan-Kettering. It's well documented, well proven. And five out of the five doctors who were the heads of Sloan-Kettering at the time who voted down, Littrell said it was worthless and didn't have any use.
Four of them died of cancer. So it you know, it's kind of like good karma or whatever, but it's but that's how far they would go for money. They would even just let themselves die of, of a disease that they knew that they had the they had the ability to, to, to fight it, countermeasures approved it and studies after studies.
And we have all that documentation so and so just because, you know, you have this when you go to ChatGPT or wherever, you know, it says there are no studies, there's no research, you know, proving its efficacy.
And here you're saying that it will studied proven at. Yeah. Acacius. And then they had to you know, they had to bury that those studies. Yeah. Just for the mighty dollar and to kind of protect the, the cancer industry, which we know obviously is huge.
Yeah, yeah. And this, this book. I hadn't even got to read the whole book. I read excerpts of it. Harold Manor is such a scientist. He had 50 published, 50 published studies.
He had seven textbooks he published. He spoke all over the United States. He was he was at Loyola for 30 years ahead of biology. And and he proved it and he documented over five years.
And he and all of his notes and everything said that it worked and how it worked. And. No, you know what? I'm ashamed to admit that two, 2 or 3 years ago, I didn't even know who Harold Manor was until I got this vault.
I didn't even know who he was. I found the book and I'm like, Who's Harold Manor? He mentions my dad in his book, but I grew up in this and didn't know who Harold Manor was.
Now, Rick may have remembered Harold or knew about him, but I even Edgar Griffin barely knew about the story about Harold Manor because so much was going on and they were able to demonize and cover up.
And Harold Manor was fired and and Doctor Burke, who was the head of the NIH, was forced to resign in 1974. My dad's license was taken away, and many other doctors who were having the success all over the world were demonized, covered up, you know, harassed to the point, doctor, you know, doctor in Houston, oh, gosh.
The doctor was having great, success with interferons and he got sued out of existence. He's still in practice, but he he just couldn't fight the battle anymore.
And now we're winning that battle because they don't. There's too many of us that are telling the truth. And great heroes like you and Rick interview some, and I talk to him.
New doctors all the time that are having great success combining the B17 with other natural modalities. Yeah, I love that. And Rick, you you were did you did you see all of this in regards to the the you know, the researchers going on the, the covering up of it and and all, what were you kind of privy to those processes while you were there.
Yeah I what when I was there, you mean in Mexico? Oh, well meaning kind of existed during that time being, during that time I joined a thing called I see, which was International Association of Cancer Victims.
And Prince put that on a business card, carry something that long. He's guys weren't businesspeople, but they were nice people. But I, I heard Doctor William Donald Kelly speak that I see I heard yes, that's Steve McQueen's.
That's Steve McQueen's doctor who said Steve McQueen was murdered anyway. Yeah. So I hung out with a lot. I didn't hang out. We weren't pals. But I knew these people and would say something to him after the meetings and and try and look for something nontoxic to chew on.
But it was. I didn't realize how important it was. I didn't realize that I was all the creatures of the world found my way. On the first try. I felt like Abraham, who found the wife for Isaac after a 450 mile camel ride out loud.
Lord, isn't there some other way to do this? That's what I would have said. But yeah, I mean, I didn't realize how important it was. Now, years later, I found another magazine that where I had a three page spread in it and I didn't think any guy, would you answer some questions?
Yeah, I'll answer some questions. It winds up in a magazine I didn't know, but thank God that I being in the way the Lord led me. And when you. So here you had the bun clenching society, you know, at Doctor Contreras hospital there.
Did you guys share information and did you kind of how did the other people do and did you. Yeah. John was alluding to there some other stories like, you know, in that that group or other groups that gone through that, I got ladies on my Facebook group that were there before I was there.
And we trade no notes and all that. They're older than I am and they've been never had a relapse, never took the whole thing. But yeah, I mean, I just I laugh out loud when I think about how crazy I had to smuggle these, the B17 capsules 500mg out of Tijuana when I left and I didn't know what I didn't.
So I opened my underwear, poured them in there and plastic old thing. And I walked through the border with this big curtain of, do I look like a smuggler to you?
I'm the guy you barbecue with on weekends. And here I am smuggling this. But I did notice no one ever asked if they could borrow a few of those and eat them.
After I got them in my underwear for about a hundred miles. You're sweaty underwear because it's obviously it's hot sitting on a Delta jet with this pile right here, and we shouldn't have had to do that.
Hey, we're not having fun. We're not doing something fun. We're doing something wrong. So. Yeah. Yeah, I'm just thinking so. So maybe it was kind of a a pre-training that un clenching.
Yeah. For your, your smuggling endeavors. Yeah. To be able to kind of get things. Defective. I'm doctor I'm sure you do some coffee enemas to boy this this this this discussion has gone south hasn't it. No.
Yeah. Well, I love it, I love it. I did those two in the first time she came in with the bag and she says, well, today we're gonna do a detox. And I said, yeah. Oh, good. What?
What's the detox? And she's telling me how the whole thing goes. And I point at the hose and I says, where does the hose go? Unfortunately. So I said to her, cream and sugar.
I mean, can we. You got to find the humor in this, because compared to the Mayo Clinic, this was Neanderthal village and I'm not. They saved my life. Okay, let's get that on record.
But it wasn't the gleaming and the and the tile floors and the old thing, it was it was modest, but they gave me things that saved my life. And you're here to talk about it.
And this. How many years later are you? 50 by now or 51? It'll be 52 in November. Oh, so 52 years ago. Yeah. Oh, yeah. 1974 to 1926. 52 years later, I was I was ten years old when when Rick came on the scene.
So yeah. Yeah, that's been and and obviously we can talk a lot about the stories, John, that you've seen your father kind of growing up and, and seeing what's going on there and.
Yeah, for, for everyone out there, I mean I vitamin B17. I mean it's a it's a powerful tool. And you know, the systemic enzymes, proteolytic enzymes going to be very specific kinds.
You know that that's a kind that yeah, that we have in the RNC or you have in the RNC enzymes. And you know patients frequently they say that well this is can only they were told by somebody in Mexico that this is only available in Mexico.
That's not true. It's available in the United States. We do it. Other clinics do it at the site. Powerful tools, powerful treatments. And so yeah, yeah, we've been we've been selling the United States for the last 30 or 40 years and never had any issues.
And it just continues to be it's a it's a nutrition. It's a nutrient. It's not it's no it's no chemotherapy. It's no drug. It's not patent. It's not controlled.
It's not owned by any patents. So yes, it is absolutely available. But doctors need to use it as a therapy like you do that adds to someone's immune system and not as a treatment for their you know, this is where we use the word C-word because it's not a treatment for their C word.
It's it's an adjunctive therapy. And then nobody has problems. There's doctors all over the country right now. Every day we're finding new doctors that are having we bumped into a doctor that has a 70 zero zero square foot clinic in Kentucky, and she's doing she said she's been using the Richardson Protocol ever since she used it.
She called it the Richardson Protocol ever since she used it to cure her own C word or be put in remission. She's been treating hundreds of patients every year at her clinic in Kentucky.
So yeah, that that just we bumped into her about six weeks ago and I never knew her before that, so. Yeah. Yeah. It's hero. You're a hero. Mine. You've been using it.
I don't know how many years now, but we, you know, you you're one of our people. We send people to all the time because you're doing heroic work up there in Idaho.
Well, I'm just so glad that that tools are available. Yeah, that that's the thing that that's been the frustrating part when you see somebody going through a very difficult journey, cancer journeys very difficult.
And then to have these tools that you, you know, are very powerful and, and the frustration to not be able to use them, you know, because they're not available.
And then I find out that here they are and I can use them, I can bring in my clinic and I can nutritionally support people that are going through cancer with this B vitamin that, you know, that the majority of us are deficient, and then we're struggling health wise because we're deficient in it.
So, you know, so to me that that was just I was elated, you know, to know that this was available. So, John, Rick, thank you so much for jumping on with me and for the fight for the for the decades of fight or that both you have gone through.
John's your dad and then obviously every every the people with named and their huge long list of unnamed people that have really fought hard to and make this available and, you know, they're truly and truly heroes in themselves.
So thank you so much, both of you. Thank you so much. God bless you. It's great to see you and enjoy the rest of your your week as well. Thanks so much.
And for listeners, you know, again this is available and we'll RNC as the company. Yeah that that has it available. I have it in my clinic and other doctors have it in their clinics but it's available.
So thanks so much. Thank you doc. Appreciate you. Thanks.
